Room was as requested, large bed and quiet. Clean, comfy, best room we have stayed in on island i think! It was my other halfs birthday so I had requested a couple beers and a note to say Happy Birthday in the room, which was no trouble for them, I also think they were generous with the room they gave us, perhaps because it was my partners birthday, it was a big room, spacious, loved it. The only reason I put 4 stars on value for money is because there was a £5 charge to put the beers in the room for arrival, and a further £5 as we ordered cheesy garlic bread and sweet potato fries to the room, and we thought £10 this was a bit pricey! We also thought the portions were small for the price, other than that everything was perfect, highly recommend.

The hotel is an excellent choice for visiting the island of Jersey. The shopping centre, beach and harbour of St Helier are a short walk away. The food was great with lots of choice and the staff were lovely and friendly. Our room was very spacious and clean. The Jazz night was an added bonus. Would definitely book this hotel again.

The hotel was everything anyone could want really, lovely views lounge very good, breakfast Amazing choice, reception very helpfull, outside seating area lovely, rooms very good and most important very comfortable beds and pillows. Would return to the Raddison Blu definitely the only thing that was very slightly annoying was until the end of holiday we didn’t realise they actually had a swimming pool, no signs up but wasn’t that important to us maybe that’s why we didn’t ask! Our first visit to Jersey loved it, and the battle of the flowers was amazing only knew about it from the taxi driver, so glad we didn’t miss it! War tunnels very good worth seeing and of course the zoo. The hotel was very convenient to the bus station too, Elisabeth castle, the beach all on the doorstep to this fine hotel, the outside areas were lovely too, especially having the promenade running by, see for yourself you won’t be disappointed!

We stayed here because it was central to visiting my brother who we were seeing for the first time in 26years. The food was excellent along with the waiting staff, they were polite and on the ball at all times. The rooms were spotless and had all that was needed. The pools and jacuzi were a welcome relief in the summer heat and the gardens were beautiful. The staff did all that they could to help and we will be back. The liberty bus which was free into town was a godsend. I cannot praise and thank the hotel staff enough.

This is the former Royal hotel in St. Helier, and is still referred by the locals as such. The Best Western Group have taken over the property and apart from a paint job little else has been done to the place in my eyes. The hotel holds the typical British resort style of the seventies, that said the rooms though a tad old fashioned were warm and comfortable, the staff, mostly from Romania were very friendly jovial and genial. The lobby bar cum pub served up delicious fresh food as well as moderately priced drinks. Although I personally did not test it out there is an award winning restaurant on site. All in all a pretty nice experience. The only negative about this hotel was the very poor Wi-fi connection, although I'm sure they will get it sorted out within time.

This guest house worked hard to ensure our stay in the guest house the area and the country was enjoyed without hassles. Everybody was friendly and willing to help provided good advice to help ensure our stay was enjoyable it’s not in the centre but that didnt matter as the jersey bus system must be one of the best in the world. We enjoyed our stay and recommend this B and B

Brilliant wish we could have stayed a lot longer, this is our second stay at the hotel and looking forward to another stay when we visit England and Jersey next year. Would recommend this hotel to anyone..

The Monterey Hotel was a great pick for my weekend away in Jersey. The staff were friendly and welcoming from the moment I arrived. Despite having early starts both mornings of my stay, the staff prepared a fresh light breakfast for me hours before service started. No sandwich on a plate delivered the night before as experienced when staying at other hotels on the island. The room was spotlessly clean and well maintained, if a little dated. I will certainly be staying there on my next visit to the island - hopefully with a late enough start to enjoy the full breakfast menu.

We had a lovely four nights at La Place recently this is our third stay and we will definitely be back, the rooms are immaculate with such attention to all the little things that make a difference. The food in the dining room is so good we ate every evening in the hotel. Last but not least the staff in this hotel are first class and could not be bettered. One small thing is there doesn't seem to be any aircon in the rooms however as we've always stayed autumn time it's never presented a problem.

Staff were great ,cleaners spot on ,food very good ,pool correct depth for non swimmers . Alround one of the best hotels ive stayed at 15/9/17-20/9/17. Will stay again .handy for bus 1

A really lovely hotel made to feel very welcome lovely full english breakfast which filled me up,comfy rooms very clean,and lovely food best I've had !stayed 3 nights and didn't have one complaint would definatley return when am back in jersey as he handing location aswell

Great location in pretty St Aubains 2 mobs walk from harbor and bus stop. Very comfortable and immaculately clean room, perhaps a little bare in decor. Staff were all delightful, friendly and happy to do anything to help. I would be delighted to stay here again.

I have stayed in many hotels all over the world and I have never encountered that the guests are responsible for cleaning the place. If I had stayed there for one night, at the end of check out, the hotel staff are obviously automatically would be responsible for cleaning the place, not the hotel guests. We stayed for 2 nights, so as expected the second day, the room will be cleaned by the hotel domestic but our room was not cleaned and soap and towels and bins were not replaced and emptied. It was appalling to know that there is a charge for cleaning. We already paid £337 for 2 nights. We were told by staff that this hotel is 2 stars, does this mean you will never uplift your hotel image & services & cleanliness? Our room was never cleaned the second day and obviously on my check out day, I am not responsible for cleaning and making it ready for your next guest. I have never read in any hotel policies that there is a charge for cleaning the room upon check out. Where did these rules come from. I am very very disappointed with these policies. Had we known this policy, I will never ever have booked the small place which was mentioned a suite, but it was not a suite size at all, no parking available either. The door towards the balcony was not sound proof enough as you can hear the strong wind. All we can hear all night was strong wind and the noise from outside. We were actually located outside of the fire exit door. Advert was very deceiving & charging me for cleaning the room for your next guest’s comfort is absurd & totally unethical and extortionate. Is this hospitality? What kind of unaccommodating hotel is this. Pls. Next time, do not advertise on Agoda, please advertise on Spareroom or Airbnb. Please be very clear with your hotel description and services. I was never given a receipt either. Receptionist was very confused about the receipt. Staff and breakfast both fine, very bad internet, and paper-thin walls. I could hear what the next room was saying. This is not the hosts fault, it is a structural problem

I stayed with my 13 year-old grandson for a couple of nights. The location of the hotel is within an easy walk of the town centre. We stayed in Room 5 which is at the front of the hotel and by the traffic lights so subject to lots of noise even with the windows closed. The beds were comfortable, the room well cleaned and the room satisfactory apart from the noise. Breakfast was excellent, although there was no cooked option. There was plenty of variety and service was excellent. The hotel is well run and a fair price compared to other hotels in Jersey. That said, hotels elsewhere offer far better value. Where I live on the Isle of Wight I estimate it's 30-40% cheaper for the same standard of accommodation. There are more things to do and at a cheaper and better value cost. I recently stayed at a Premier Inn on Gatwick Airport which was one third of the cost of The Mornington. That said, this hotel is competitive for Jersey. It's a pity that this Island is ready to kill its Golden Goose because it is an Island with potential.

Breakfast was a bit repetitive, and not of the best quality, overall a great place for families, a bit of a walk from town

fantastic location right on st brelade's bay, very decent beach+surroundings, tide out in the afternoon so great for beach walks/runs/sun-worshipping. cab from jer took about 10mins. bus 15 runs to the area but not directly to hotel. 12+15 bus goes into st heller liberation square or its an hours coastal walk at a decent pace into st helier. perfect place for a relaxing getaway! was upgraded to a double room on arrival, reception staff efficient, friendly, professional but chatty...without being intrusive. room was clean, warm, well laid-out and had all.necessary facilities. nice touch is the dvd player and reception hold a decent range of gd movies for all the family. great bathrobe+smellies in spacious bathroom. very comfy bed and v thorough housekeeping service. breakfast buffet extensive and good staff. concierge guys were fab as were lounge bar staff... so welcoming and friendly...you felt like they wanted you to be there and thus far gave outstanding customer service. pool, sauna and steam room all spotless and warm+decent. gym small, crammed full of equipment bu rarely busy. spa treatments were divine and not badly priced. staff again were polite, kind and efficient. have nothing bad or negative at all to say about this hotel and i was sorry to have to leave.

The hotel is a good standard for 3 stars. It could however do with some modern upgrades. We were fortunate enough to have very good weather which was great during the day but at night with no air conditioning, sleeping was a big problem. It could also do with an update around the outdoor pool area. Even though the weather was hot the water in the pool was ridiculously cold and this did not encourage bathing at all. Also if you wanted a cold drink you had to go to the area behind the indoor pool or reception and order it which was a bit unnecessary. Surely a small bar with soft drinks and some snacks would be more favourable. However, overall we really enjoyed our stay in Jersey and the hotel was a major part of that.

As a lone traveller I found the Beausite hotel to be very friendly. The standard & cleanliness of the accommodation were faultless. My flight home was not until late afternoon & although I had to vacate the room by 10am I was able to leave my luggage at reception & use any of the facilities until I was ready to leave. Would thoroughly recommend this hotel to anyone. The surrounding area was beautiful - quiet but within 20mins of St Helier.

This is modest and unpretentious hotel in a quiet location within a comfortable stroll of the town centre and good public transport links. Very friendly and helpful staff. Cozy dining room and excellent breakfast: - a wide and appetizing choice on the buffet table and a substantial full-English cooked option. We had a "budget" double room - which was small but entirely adequate for our 2-night stay. It was clean and comfortable and well-serviced (linen, towels, beverages etc). Many of the rooms, ours included, overlooked the central quadrant and garden - an unremarkable view, with privacy protected by net curtains. There was a good sized bathroom. The shower mixer-tap was a bit of a challenge (we were at the very top of the building so the water pressure may have been an issue) - but we could still achieve a decent shower. We did not use the lounge, bar or garden so cannot comment on these. We would definitely consider revisiting this hotel and are happy to recommend it :)

The last time I was in Jersey I stayed at Longueville Manor for the week-end and then moved into another 5*hotel as I was on business. What a mistake. I should have insisted on staying at Longueville Manor. There is nothing too difficult for them and the staff are so gracious in dealing with people. The other hotel was so impersonal. Key at reception -your room is on the 3rd floor - have a nice stay, basta!! I would recommend Longueville Manor to anyone wanting a real hotel with feel at home rooms, great food, beautiful surroundings and people who care about you.

Not sure about the language the staff spoke ,it felt a bit odd but otherwise a lovely hotel

We had a very pleasant stay. The food was good, the room was very clean and well tended. The staff were very helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The bus stop is outside the hotel, so we were able to make full use of the excellent public transport system.

Really found it to be very convenient to walk to town and restaurants. The staff are very friendly and warm and make us felt being welcome. Overall value for money for the comfort and clean room. They do provide many choices for the breakfast. Unfortunately our choice for the grilled fish did not turn out to be good. May be full English breakfast would be better.
