The hotel is very modern and nice. Our deluxe rooms with direct access to the swimming pool were large and beautiful. The Acqua di Parma products is a nice touch. The hotel is a bit disorganised. We had some issues at the time of booking, which took a few emails to resolve. The very expensive New Year's eve gala was nice but not worth the €150 per person. We asked for a guide for a tour of the Medina who still managed to take us to a carpet shop and to a pottery shop! Not a great tour either! The staff is very friendly and the bar rooftop has a nice view of the Medina. A bit expensive but still the best place to stay in Fes if you are not on a budget..

Very spectacular hotel for travelers who are looking forward to stay in a luxury Hotel in Marrakesh with a reasonable value of money. We loved the staff because they were very helpful when we didn't like the first room when we checked in, they changed it right away when we requested. It has a very marvelous Islamic themed, the hotel garden is very very very nice. We enjoyed their breakfast is was fabulous and lots of variety of food, the view was amazing with the olives and fruits trees. I will definitely come visit again, and recommend it to other travelers.

I plan to return and having stayed at many riads and hotels in Marrakech this is the best one. The location is great and the services and rooms are high quality.

We stayed for 6 nights in december ,recieved a warm welcome from the Staff ,we had to wait over 2 hours to get a room but the room was beautiful ,we had a double and it was perfect for us . 5 stars in Marrakech is nowhere near 5 stars in europe but it was a definite 4 stars and we were Happy with that . Staff were polite and friendly at all times . Perfect location if you want to be in the busy market Where all the action takes place ,once you are in the hotel you dont hear anything . The breakfast was included and that was my only negative as i expected more after reading the reviews .. i have never eaten so little in a hotel because the options were limited considering its a 5 star hotel... only scrambled eggs are in the buffet and they are so runny almost uncooked and taste weird ,i have Asked for fried eggs and they were half uncooked worse i had,NexT day i ordered a cheese omelette and that was so dissapointing tasteless and had no cheese on...

By far my best experience in Marrakech, and I've been three times! The manager of the hotel was so unbelievably warm and inviting during our trip - it felt like she was an extension of the family and really made the experience for us! Would highly recommend.

I feel very safe inside the hotel after walking through noisy and crazy medina. The atmosphere made me feel like home. I like the open courtyard of the hotel and the friendliness of the hotel owner -salma. She gave me clear direction of how to explore Marakech. The hotel is hidden in the small ally as indicated by name. I had to walk past the medina and local offering for help with initially saying that no money and no gift, at the end they ask for high in return. If you want to stay at this hotel you have to ask for transportation organized by the hotel ortherwise you will end up with high payment. If t he hotel provided more choices of breakfast such as fruit or vegetable would be perfect. So far, I like the ambient and Morocco style.

I think the location is just too far from the mall/train station (about 5 min (no traffic) - 10 min w/ traffic). You can get a taxi though for just 10MAD/per person. There are no restaurants nearby except the hotel's room service/buffet offer/restaurant. Despite the location we still enjoy the pool, the staff were helpful. Room service food wasn't bad :) but if you are staying for a week, not enough menu selection. If you want peace and quite, then book this one. Good for family I would say.

Staff is very helpful. Special attributes to Mr. Youness of the reception. There is another Hilton (without swimming pool) near to this one. They are two different hotels. Make sure you book this one. The other one is horrible and has a lot of bad reveals. Remember the one with swimming pool is the good Hilton in Tangier.

Great stay overall but only issue was the expensive massages were always shorter than the time charged. The 50min massages were around 40 mins and the 25min one was actually under 20mins. Very annoying. The clock in the massage room was always around 5mins plus already before we even started the massages. I should have asked them to reset but felt too embarrassed to do so. Wish I had.

When we arrived we were given mint tea on arrival and had people greet us as soon as we got out the taxi they looked after our bags. They gave us a free upgrade to a pool view. The rooms were very nice and modern and very cleaned very well every day. I think the service from the staff was great they were so happy to help you with anything you needed.

It was good, but I'd give it four, not five, stars. The bed was lumpy, service was friendly but not always easy to find, and there were renos happening right outside my room, so I had to keep the drapes shut. The hotel is beautiful and is a destination itself.

This is like an Oasis in Marrakech, got great air conditioning inside which is what u need in Marrakech in july!!! Loved the decor that gives you a Moroccan vibe as oppose to four seasons that was more modern, the room was nice, spacious and got a good ac going on. staff were nice, didn't enjoy the breakfast just because it was more of a local style than full english or american breakfast. the spa was nice, got 40%off if u understand a little french which was a good deal, dinner was ok. All in all it was a good stay in Marrakech

good hotel to stay in for business and a bit of pleasure. great service and good food in all restaurants. nice relaxing atmosphere in the lobby. rooms nice and are of a good size.

My wife and I had booked lots of hotels/resorts for our recent 3 week honeymoon holiday. Admittingely I was nervous about most of our destinations -- Riad Zolah was the exception to the fact. I was amazed to find such a fantastic deal for Zolah on Agoda.com -- the reviews on every travel site are amazing. Deservingly so, Fatima, Abdul and the entire staff at Zolah treated my wife and I as members of the family. It felt as if we were visiting long lost cousins, eager to show us the city - ply us with their food and charm us with the stories we weren't around to enjoy. For those of you who have not visited Marrakech, it is best described as an assault on the senses. It is a bustling, loud and frenetic city that can take you by your bootstraps and whip you around like a rag doll. That being said, you need a respite. An escape from it all -- see Riad Zolah. A beautifully adorned and meticulously kept Riad tucked in to the cavernous medina that is Marrakech. If you do want treat, enjoy a meal with the staff. We were encouraged to enjoy a dinner on our first night and it was a lovely idea. As I have forgotten the exact name for it, you must try the cheese stuffed fried appetizers. YOU MUST!! Breakfast on the veranda is a treat in and of itself -- you get lovely fresh made treats of the staffs choice, different options every day. Not to mention that you enjoy the company of the lovely kittens, Michelle and Mitchell -- I don't even like cats, but I wanted to take them home!! Last but not least, the kindness -- it is unmatched, their were times that we were genuinely intimidated by Marrakech but we knew that we could escape to the comfort of our Riad for much deserved, R & R. Thank you Riad Zolah -- you're an 11 on a scale of 1 to 10.

The only concern I have is: During my reservation, I explicitly mentioned that I require 2 single beds. Upon checking in, we see a queen size bed. We asked the guest relations gentleman that this is not what we requested for and we need this changed. He asked us to wait for a few minutes and will make the change. We then went to sit by the pool and about 45 mins later, we see that he is walking with other guests showing them the property while we are still waiting for our room after a whole day’s travel (5pm and counting). We went to the reception to find out what’s going on, and we are told again to wait. The guest relations manager comes back and brings a copy of the reservation saying that they don’t have it in their system for twin beds. I showed him my conformation and he said it’s not his problem or my problem but Agoda’s problem. This was not acceptable to me- as a client. I need to be furnished with my requests and if they can’t be met, they need to be communicated in advance in a professional way. Anyhow, we got the same room back – with twin beds. This whole change process didn’t need to take over 2 hours. Once the beds were sorted, we managed to relax, enjoy the view and take some bikes out to the city. The bikes are not in good condition but they do the job. We initially came with the intention to stay for 2 nights- but, once we had the unprofessional experience with the guest relations manager, we took the next flight out therefore not really enjoying the property as much as we wanted. The gentleman didn’t make our experience memorable and neither any compensation/apology was offered for his unprofessional behavior. I would recommend the property for its views and location – but I would warn you for the people skills the guest relations manager has should you wish to ask him any questions beyond his mandate of showing you the hotel property.

I booked two nights at Laaroussa after just 10 minutes of hotel research for Fez because of its glowing reviews. No regrets! And I shall add another. Friendly staff Rajae, Karim, Anwar and Mr Porter - they were ever so helpful. Fatima, the chef - oh my, best meal I had in Morocco for sure. I don’t like lamb and I finished every bit of her lamb tagine. The riad is gorgeous, the owners have preserved the original design. The whole experience is a highlight of my trip to Morocco. If I live in EMEA, I’ll be happy to fly into Fez and stay at Laaroussa for weekend getaways. Alas, I don’t.

Staying at the Meridien N'Fis was an absolute delight for me and my entire family (3 adult children). Although there are many charming Riyads in Marrakech, the Meridien is ideal in terms of offering a resort-like atmosphere. The only minor negative point would be the difficulty in getting a "big" taxi outside the hotel. I can definitely recommend this hotel for business visitors or for families wishing to enjoy a pleasant stay in Marrakech

Have used this hotel 3 times already and I keep going back simply because its great. Besides the spacious rooms it is also a great place to go back to after a hot day of meetings where you can chill out at the pool or the beautiful garden. Restaurants are pretty good too.

The hotel has lots of staff always willing to help! The exterior is of a high standard, clean & contemporary, the rooms were clean however the upkeep like bubbling walls & dirty cushions on the balcony did let it down slightly. Shuttle to the medina daily every hour is helpful, small area to purchase memorabilia & a few homely restaurants. Tax charges at the end of the holiday changed the mood as we were not informed of this via Agoda so be aware that if you spend during your stay i.e. Charge anything to the room, you'll be changed an additional £7 per time!

by far the best 5 star facility we saw in the area, and certainly of the highest standard for maroc. perfect location: near the beach (<5 min walk) but without the crowds, noise or wind. tranquil and private. unfailingly remarkable service at all levels. excellent in-house dining options for enough variety for a short stay. can't speak to the demi or full pension options; but the breakfast buffet upgrade was certainly excellent value.

This was a very good and almost perfect choice for a stay outside the city center. A mere 5-10 mins drive to the city;s main square, the hotel has a lobby that was palatial and grand. The huge pool appeared stunning from every angle especially from our room terrace. The overall hotel aura was very exotic. The room and bathroom were huge. The breakfast buffet has a surprisingly varied choice of food and drinks. We had a welcome drinks of mint tea with some Moroccan sweets. The price was reasonable. Now a bit of the negatives. The shower area which was separate from the tub which has its own shower too had the water coming out of it unto the bathroom floor making the entire place very wet. It was not designed to be contained even with the shower curtain. We just used the shower at the tub area. Also the front desk lacks enthusiasm and charisma. I am not sure if it's because they do not speak English a lot. I was misunderstood twice about late checkout. Overall I still enjoyed my stay in this hotel which I think should only be 4 stars.

We moved to the Berbere Palace after a few days in Le Palais De Arts to take advantage of the pool facilities (largest hotel / best pool in Quarzazate to my knowledge - hotel is something of a local landmark) but sadly it rained. Our suite was clean, comfortable and very large, but all of the decor was pretty dated throughout the hotel (bathrooms especially) although not in bad condition. More of a 3*-4* (at a push) hotel by UK standards than a 5* and probably not worth the +£100 a night price tag. Standards however, are different in Moroccco and for a small town, this is a 'fancy' hotel. The hotel was very quiet when we stayed, and it seems like Quarzazate caters for a large tourist population that it fails to attract (there's not a lot to do there and surrounding areas of natural beauty/historical interest can all be covered in two day trips - Skoura,Valley of the Roses, Dades Gorge one day. Movie studios,Taourirt Kasbah, Oasis Fint, Ait Benhaddou the next).The staff were nice, spoke a good standard of English and French and were happy to help arrange (expensive!) drivers for said excursions to local landmarks. The breakfast buffet was of a pretty good standard and variety. Wifi pretty weak.

Our stay was superb in a hotel converted from a palace. The most wonderful moment was being hosted by the owner, Mr Driss & his family, during our last night. The famous Moroccan hospitality was displayed by all the staff in their service in every room in the hotel. The breakfasts were excellent, diverse range of foods. Our dinner on the terrace was divine. The signature dish, a lamb cooked in tagine was so tender that it just broke apart by a glance. The pool was enchantingly serene. Nice touch was a platter of fruits served and it was a gift. Heaps of towels! generously placed on deck chairs. Like most riads, there are lots of stairs but Palais Faraj has lifts! Excellent for the disabled, unfit and aged! HIghly recommended as Palais Faraj has combined the best of traditional riads (great service with Moroccan hearts & souls) and modern amenities such as lifts, TV (although the reception was not the best) and fantastic wifi, all free! Indeed, a very classy hotel!

Good location. Onsite beach. Breakfast has a lot of choices for sweet pastries but food is a let down. Sausages were gone and not replenished when we were having breakfast. They have a buffet dinner 350 Morocco dirhams per person which is not worth it at all. Food on the beach is restricted to club sandwich and pizzas. No alcoholic drinks on beachside however available poolside. Overall hotel clean but I will not stay again and will try another hotel.
