The fanatic hotel is located east of Salalah on a beautiful beach. It hase nice spacious rooms excellent swimming pools and beautiful private beach. The staff are extremely helpful especially suliaman, they go extra mile to make life easier for the guests. Restaurant is very limited in food choice and expensive. Management need to consider providing business center facilities as this is important for these type of hotels. In the lobby they serve Omani coffee and dates Both do not represent Oman. The coffee is bad and the dates are even worse and not good for human consumption. Yes I will go and stay again at fan at hotel and recommend it for other travelers to Salalah. The management however , should do better and need to be creative.

We had a great time at Juweira Hotel, very neat and great facilities. I would like to specially acknowledge the hospitality of Mr. Muslimin, very helpful and understanding to our needs. I would definitely recommend this hotel. Few areas of improvement which need to get addressed --- Wi-fi should be provided in all rooms, irrespective of the type of rooms, having wi-fi only in the public areas isn't convenient. Secondly, the Spa facilities and treatments provided need to be improved, which we felt wasn't value for money.

It's was good experience at staying Star emirates Inn. Clean,nice,idealy near located to main areas. Nice property, at nice location and good price.

NICE PLACE TO STAY FOR FAMILIES WITH CHILDREN. I LIKE THE APARTMENT I BOOKED IT WAS 3 BEDROOM. THE LOCATION REALLY GREAT AND A SHOPPING MALL UNDER THE APARTMENTS AND THERE IS A MALL TOO CROSS THE ROAD. LAST VISIT TO MUSCAT WAS MORE THAN TEN YEARS, ITS REALLY BIG DIFFERENT FROM THE LAST VISIT THE NEW ROADS HOTELS SHOPPING MALLS. I SPENT LOVELY TIME IN MUSCAT WITH MY FAMILY. THANKS TO AGODA FOR LISTING THIS BEAUTIFUL EXECUTIVE APARTMENTS HOTEL, BY THE WAY THERE IS A MILLENNIUM HOTEL BESIDE THE APARTMENTS.

i reside in Salalah and booked an executive room at salalah garden mall hotel on the Agoda .com for my sons birthday for a fun stay. the booking itself was a pleasurable experience i felt i got the best rate, we arrived at the hotel on a wednesday evening the staff right from the concierge ,the reception whomever we met were so welcoming and well mannered the check in was superfast and hassle free i requested for a late checkout at the time of check in and the guy at the reception a egyptian i forget his name ,politely obliged i checked into a room on the 1st floor but found that it dint have a balcony i called the front office and the front office manager Mr Abid called me back and politely promised to change my room and very soon we were shifted to a room with a balcony and an awesome garden view. our stay was very comfortable my sons friends joined us to cut a cake in the room and the hotel authorities didnt object. the restaurant staff was exceptionally good, breakfast average.

Great hotel in a good location. If your driving while in Muscat they do have a parking garage below the hotel which is secure and free to use. The location is right on the edge of many of many shopping districts and not far from Oman Avenues and Muscat Grand Malls. The staff is very helpful and they do have a restaurant and the atrium area serves a variety of food for breakfast, lunch and dinner. I also made use of their business center to print off documents that i needed. I do like they fact they had a pool and sauna, but would suggest the hotel update some of there exercise machines. One treadmill was not working, and the other had treads which kept slipping. All in all this is a good place to stay.

I was in Oman for a friend’s wedding and stayed at Centara for 4 nights. The room was absolutely wonderful, modern, very clean and very comfortable. Definitely valued for the rate I paid. The hotel staff were very helpful and friendly as well. It’s located quite near to the Grand Mosque (should only cost you 2 Oman Riyals from the Hotel to the mosque). However, try not to let the hotel book a taxi for you, it will be double the rate. If you’re looking for a good place to stay, I would definitely recommend Centara. Word of advise, rent a car and all would be good.

I booked this hotel in advance for 8 nights and was fairly shocked to find that there were building works above my room. I have to say though that the assistant manager Wael and his staff did everything to put this right and I left feeling very well looked after and would love to return again in the future. The hotel itself is in a great situation just 5 minutes walk from Ruwi bus station which makes the whole of Muscat very accessible for between 40p and 60p a trip. Ruwi is a very busy predominantly Indian area, I enjoyed the hustle and bustle and also the fact that I could access Indian homeopathy, yoga and an ayuvedic hospital very reasonably. I found Oman to be clean, the people are kind and helpful and places like the Grand Mosque (which is free to visit 8-11am apart from Friday's) an absolute joy. Watch out for the taxis, I met many people who had paid huge amounts to the taxi drivers. You should be able to get 2-3 miles for 2 rial. I met people paying 5 times that.

We drove into Oman and this was our first stop. This was our first impressions of the Country and the people. The staff were great amazingly friendly. It is an undiscovered gem.

This is the old 'in town' hotel in Muscat. It is the place were the 'smart set' used to get married. It has the most popular Japanese restaurant in Oman. The rooms are small but beautifully appointed and spotlessly clean. Great in town location with taxis always out front. I will definitely stay here again!

On the whole, was a good stay but few things could be improvised when it comes to service. Upon arrival, there were no assistance without baggage and this was after a long flight we had and our first there in Oman! Not a very pleasing start. Check in was very slow as there was a long queue of people ahead and despite there being a counter for gold members of the holiday inn membership club, no staff attended to that counter. Otherwise, staff are pleasant and very helpful.

To reach this hotel was a rather adventurous ride through windy mountainous roads. Specatular and enjoyable ride though. For first timers driving on this road it may take at least 1 to 1 1/2 hours to navigate through these roads to reach the hotel. The hotel is so isolated that ifyou wanted to get into the city (Muscat) it would be a tiring drive back. The hotel itself is lovely and set on a marina. There is a private beach for the hotel which is not ideal for swimming as there are lots of stones. However there is another beach near by. We had a room facing the swimming pool. The balcony opens out to the pool which was fantastic as we were able to put our baby to sleep in the room and go to pool while at the same time being able to keep an eye on her. Pool was average size. The hotel provided a cot and bathtub for the baby at no extra cost which we found very helpful. There is a small mini mart at walking distance in case you need to buy a few grocery items. The food I would say was average. Sometimes we had amazing food and sometimes it was just ok. The chicken biriyani however was delicious. There isn't a wide selection for al la carte and there is only one restaurant so we were very limited in terms of food choices. There is no place near by to get a quick bite even as the hotel is so isolated. Having said this the area is still under development and there are plans to set up more restaurants in this area in the near future. The staff are very friendly and hospitable. Everyone had a smile and were so corteuous and helpful. They definitely made the stay more worthwhile. One of the best holidays I have had. Me and my husband enjoyed ourselves even with the baby. It was so relaxing. Felt like we were in another world away from the hustle and bustle of every day life. Definitely going back here again and will recommend this to anyone.

The place was okey! It was a one of a good comfort night in the hotel. I was expecting a buffet breakfast yet it was served with a choose breakfast since no quite numbers of guest was available. Its quite disappointing yet overall stay is good.

The hotel is brand new and situated close to Muscat airport. Currently there's still some construction going on around the hotel but the rooms are nice and quiet. The staff are friendly and helpful. Rooms have some small issues like the lights suddenly going off and not responding to the main switches or one bed side switch. Parking is available but it's limited and rather small. The rooftop swimming pool is beautiful and has a great view. Breakfast is good enough but nothing special.

Amazing hotel with Super, Super, Super friendly and efficient team! Delicious Buffett, relaxing bar, spotless rooms and large clean bathrooms! The bed is tremendous after a Long intercontinental flight! I can not recommend this hotel enough for business travellers to Muscat.

It was great which my rating shows , When I was booking it through Agoda i was thinking its cheap so we might face some difficulty but upon reaching the hotel we were taken by shock since the service was excellent , its cost efficient , the attentiongiven by staff is same as any other big hotel. excellent stay .

Apart from a very unhelpful blond at the boutique hotel reception who would not help us find the reception for the apartments,everyone and thing after that was of a high standard. The sight still has a lot of development ahead but far enough away not to disturb your stay.The drive to the resort is superb. They haven't sorted out the signs so we did find it difficult to find the apartment reception but apart from that a great stay was had by all. Would love to go back for a longer stay.

Duqm is an embryonic city with 2 hotels. The Crown Plaza is the more luxurious hotel option. During my stay (Feb 2014), Nawras had zero signal in the restaurant, and a little in my room. The staff confirmed this is normal. If you want a nice, affordable hotel in the middle of nowhere, stay here. It is about 10 minutes to town, and another 10 minutes to the entrance gate at the Oman Drydock company (faster if you have a 4x4).

We visited the hotel directly and informed receptionist that we would book via Agoda.com and stay in their hotel. We requested assistance to avail their wifi in advance or pay for it so we can book our stay. The receptionist clearly mentioned that wifi is for guest only. We end up searching for wifi nearby the hotel just to book our room online. When we did book the room, the receptionist transformed and acted as per his job description. Its too plain, we did not feel the home away from home feelings and there is no flexibility as we are travelling by road and we were too exhausted that time

If you are looking for a nice place to stay without going broke in Oman, look no further than the Pioneer Apartment hotel. We booked a Deluxe one bedroom apartment and were surprised about the quality of the furnishings and the size of the unit guaranteeing a comfortable stay usually offered by high-end hotels. Staff is overly friendly. Breakfast is offered in the restaurant in the basement and goes beyond the usual continental fare. Don't forget to checkout the rooftop pool. As the hotel is at the southern end of Muscat, it is advisable to ensure detailed driving directions to the hotel. Check out the hotel's website to get a planning start.

The Hotel is 3 star certified, but the facility is a 4 star one. The breakfast was good, staff was courteous, and tried to take care of even smallest of needs. The location was easy to find, as there are signboards starting from the Jetty itself. It is located in a very calm and quiet place and is a must visit for those who would like to relax, refresh, rejuvenate or simply SLEEP. The sunrise was a surprise and was one of the best things to see and experience there.

The hotel is close to a number of inexpensive restaurants, bakery, food shops within a short-working distance, although the sight around is not much to see. Hotel food is good but not much choice especially for breakfast probably because I stay during the hot season with not many tourists as customers around. Hotels in Oman are everywhere very expensive in comparison to other countries so it is not reasonable to judge this particular hotel if its value is worth the money.

Hotel in a superb location, on the beach, at the very side of Musandam Peninsula. Staff a little slow, but very kind and friendly. Rooms are ok and clean, but the hotel as a whole is a bit old and would need refurbishing. Hotel has received a lot of criticisim and negative comments, but: -it is impossible to find another hotel in such a position All the hotels on the Emirate side might offer a better comfort, but the locations are really poor... - it is in Oman, and omani hotel standards can not be compared with the standards in the Emirates. Most of the judgements are biased in this way In the end it is a trade-off: it is better an average hotel in a wonderful place, or a wonderful hotel in a sheety place ? A suggestion: if possible avoid week-ends. There is plenty of tourists coming from Dubai on a day tour and plenty of Arabs running with their Jeeps on the beach (apparently the beach for Arabs it is not a place to relax and take sun, but to run with vehicles like crazy...)

I have lived and worked in Oman for 15 years, this Hotel has been built for around 2 years the rooms are very nice with large bathrooms the dinning room leaves a lot to be desired it terms of furniture but the steak house (attached) just outside the front door is very good I will be staying again and the price was very good for Muscat.

The hotel is great for the city. The room is big and very clean. It has a small kitchen and a small laundry area. It is a good room to stay for a longer period of time, like a week or two. The building is near a beach so the view from the room is really nice. I do think the beach is not very clean, so it is not worth it to go to the beach. I also think that for a four star hotel, their toiletries should not be at the minimum - there was no dental kit in the bathroom.

This is a great hotel for short stays around town without entering al Ain. The food is good, prices are good, everyone is very friendly and the facility is very clean and tidy. Probably the best value in the city. Although you will not likely find other hotels listed for this city online, there are others. This town is rather out-of-the-way and lacking some infrastructure, at least at the moment. If you look into other hotels, you can find better rates that may also suit your needs. However, it will require more work on the phone and via emails due to a lack of internet presence.

I booked the hotel primarily because of the pool, only to find that it was no longer maintained, and therefore unusable. While Mahadha is a nice hotel overall, it was not all that it appeared to be. I was also not able to connect to any of the WiFi networks, and the staff were unable to help me (other guests experienced similar issues).

On arrival we were informed of a room change. This was because we were offered a room more in line with the hotel's features rather than our personal request. Also agoda failed to describe the rooms correctly. We agreed to the change but didn't get more from it other than easier access to the pool area. The outdoor pool itself was cold (in November) which seems strange given the solar radiation available and an ambient temperature of 28degC. The jacuzzi was warm and therefore more popular with the few guests. Especially as it is positioned immediately in front of the view over the mountainside terraces. The view is the best feature. I'm not sure why a luxury hotel would offer pommes frites with almost every choice at dinner. Otherwise the food was alright, if slightly on the expensive side for Oman. Good and varied breakfast. The staff were very friendly and tried hard to accomodate. Highlight was a massage as an extra by a very professional and competent therapist.

As a foreign tourist coming from far east, it was my huge decision to come visit Oman for my summer vaation. I stayed in Muscat for 2 nights, Salalah 2 nights (all with big name five star hotel), and 3 nights at Atana Musandam resort. Honestly speaking, among the three places, Atana Musandam resort was my best choice and I really enjoyed staying here. 1. Friendly staffs and their services - Very nice people with friendly warm heart. I really enjoyed their hospitality and services. 2. Strategic location in Khasab - Only 1 minute distance from the biggest mall in the town, Lulu hypermart, and free car service is offered whenever you want to go in Khasab. 3. The design of the resorts and structure - the resorts were built based on the traditional Khasab building, and I personally enjoyed staying there. Overall, I will definitely recommend this place to my friends and family, and I'm more than willing to come back to this resort in near future. Just one little thing is that, it would have been much better if the resort asked me if I need a ride from the Khasab airport to their hotel beforehand. I had to arrange my own ways to get to the resort when I landed at the Khasab airport, and it would have been really nice if the resort asked whether I need the ride from aiport to the resort beforehand, given the fact that the resort always offer free car service.
