We stayed at ica adventures 2 for three nights on our trip around Peru and it was awesome! Staff is super kind and helpful. They booked sandboarding in huacachina for us and a pisco tour. Both prices were comparable, if not less than booking through a tour agency. The included breakfast was great, & the place was super clean. Guests have shared use of the kitchen on the 4th floor. Really cool chill spots to hang out at on the 3rd and top floors. Good wifi. We had a private room with private bathroom- clean, spacious and quiet. Highly recommend staying here if you're traveling to Ica.

Hot showers, TV, nice beds, nice duvets. Best place we've stayed in Peru for the money. Only con was taxi drivers found it difficult to find.

What I liked most about this place is that it has really good facilities, strong and stable WiFi throughout the building, which is huge and has lots of rooms/bathrooms, and good warm showers -- this is important as it gets really chilly at night in Puno. Another thing is that they can arrange for various tours of Lake Titicaca at very good prices, and the tour I took was very good. The staff are very professional and helpful. Also, provided breakfasts were delicious and good-valued.

This is probably the best hostel that I have stayed in Peru so far. So cheap for the value it provided. Fast and reliable WiFi (Internet). Provided basic breakfast. Amazing staff, friendly and helpful. Full facilities, speckless clean bathrooms that are cleaned everyday, common areas are beautifully decorated and well-kept. Nice rooftop overlooking the desert and spectacular sunset view. Location is a bit of a walk from the town center, but it's definitely a healthy walk. Very chilling and relaxing vibe!

stay away from room facing road near reception. it's loud roof terrace bar is removed when I was there but still a nice space to enjoy the sunset. breakfast was decent by Peru standards. laundry was done in 24hrs

My stay was perfect. I arrived late at night and Alberto greeted my with much friendliness and explained everything to me in basic Spanish so I could understand (he also speaks perfect English). We organised the tours and everything went really smoothly. They are directly across the road from the beach, really close to the port and walking distance from the bus terminal. Perfect!

Everything I'm looking for as a budget solo travel (all the above). Thanks to the staff, they're very helpful and kind!

The hostel is generally clean and quiet. Reception is friendly and will advise you where to go around. The bed and duvet are comfortable. I doze off easily and slept really good. The kitchen is complete with all the stuff you need and is a good place to meet up and hang out with fellow backpackers. Near to San Pedro Market where you can shop and grab something to eat (cheaper here than any other place). If San Pedro market is closed (usually 6pm) there is a nearby supermarket also. Laundry service and tour booking are also available which is a plus. Worth the price you pay.

Ana’s b&b is the best place to stay in south america in our one month trip so far. Twin room was very well furnished, beds were comfortable with warm blankets. Breakfast was great, Ana prepared it at 5am in the morning on the day of trekking that we had to leave at 5:30 am. Kitchen was super clean and well equipped. Not in the town of Huaraz but then we could have quite nights (didn’t bother us to pay 2-3 sol to the town or 15 mins walk). Loved Christmas decos in common areas. Staff made a room every morning. Ana helped us to plan with good recommendations. Everything was good! If we ever come back to Huaraz, will definitely stay here again!

Good stay and loved the pool area, pretty spot. It's low season and while I prefer chill to a crazy party this place only had about 10 ppl staying here so a little too chill and hard to meet ppl. In high season it's prob perfect. Far from town - not really walkable due to heat factor and never safe at night to walk. Dangerous to swim on this part of the beach. Decent wifi, showers could be better, comfy beds but no locks on doors (lockers tho). Very chill so if that's your thing then it's a great spot.

A friend and I got a private room here because of its proximity to the airport. We walked from the airport to get a sense of distance, but it wasn't an interesting walk (and taxis are cheap). The online rate was best, so they waited for me to reserve online. You also pay-as-you-go for things - no room account. It has everything you could expect from a good hostel. To start, they booked me a 4:30am taxi to the airport and accepted the fare at the front desk. They don't add on extra credit card fees. There is a big terrace with hammocks and ping pong, downstairs is a big kitchen (guests can use when they're not preparing breakfast and dinner) and hangout with a pool table. Beer and drinking water is for sale at the front desk. Within 25 mins walk we went to a huge supermarket, a bank and a wood-fired pizza place. My friend was allowed to check out at 11:30 and chill until his flight. Overall clean, very lovely staff, and excellent value private room/bathroom with a good hot shower.

Great location but the hostel doesn’t accept cards, WiFi and hot water is nonexistent. For what they charge the place is not worth it

It's not really VIP area, however the staff was ever as helpful and welcoming. Good value for the money. Not too far from main square. I can recommend for short stay.

When I booked this hostel I just wanted a place to rest near the airport as I arrived in Lima pretty late during the night, and Tupac hostel was exactly was I was looking for. Booked a private room and it was clean, good value for what I paid. Staff was very nice and helpful.

We stayed at the Marlon's House only one night but we were very happy with our room. We arrived on an early bus at 5:00 am and even though we could not check in to our room so early we were able to sleep for a few hours in their "waiting/lounge" area till our room was available. The room and beds are very clean! The location is great too and the staff was super friendly. We didn't care too much for the breakfast but was free so we can't complain!

The place is overall good - good location, usually hot water, quite good wifi and a really nice outdoor area. Why I wouldnt stay here again is the staff that seemed to be really bothered by us to be here. No smile, nothing. Fot the first two breakfasts we had pancakes and eggs. For the last one we only got old bread and had to ask for jam and butter, which we got with a really annoyed face of the girls. We didnt even dare to ask for sth warm. Also the owner tried to charge us more - she calculated with the exchange rate 3,5 for dollar, when we didnt agree she changed it for 3,25...

Cheap hostel in a good location walking distance to the center of cuzco, it was a colonial house, excellent reception 24 Hrs, rooms a bit cold but they provide blankets, very nice lounge area to sit and chill, only downside is the lack of power outlets.

It was like staying at my family’s home. Very friendly couple who lives on site, informative and caring. You will be in good hands if you stay here.

Staff could only speak a little English but he/she really try to help me for all the stuff at Arequipa. Great location and great value for the money. Will definitely choose here again for the next travel.

the room was TINY and it STUNK of god knows what! I really struggled to understand how this place received such good reviews. the positives: the staff as very friendly and very helpful. they were not pushy about tours. good water pressure and hot water. the cons: the room was very small, luckily we left one of our backpacks in Lima, there was just enough room for 50% of our usual luggage ( and we each only carried about 15kg for the entire trip). whilst most rooms had a fly screen on the window, ours did not. The room gets very very hot unless the window was open. It did not feel secure and felt like anyone could have just reached into our room with the opened window. And before you ask, no closing the window was not an option. First of all, it stunk in there, unless the window was open, it was not possible to breath given the smell, secondly, if the window was closed, it get very hot in the room. the towels given was barely bigger than a hand towel. Good luck drying after a shower or trying to wash your hair. the breakfast (extra 8 soles) was just orange flavoured water masquerading as OJ and some bright pink yogurt, plus bread rolls (not toast), butter and jam. Instant tea and coffee was also included. Terrible value. we have paid a similar price for much nicer rooms with better breakfast (included) elsewhere in Peru (including in the very touristy machu picchu pueblo. Given the number of available hostels in Paracas, i would recommend that you shop around for something better value.

The hostel is in a great location. A 5 minute walk to plaza de armas and a two minute walk to the start of the free walking tour. Staff were very friendly and helped us with any issues we had. We also booked a tour to the colca canyon through them which I would recommend

Overall a really nice hostel. Really chill vibe with lots of open spaces to hang out, be alone or meet new people. The staff are amazing and take great care of the place and travellers. The bathrooms are really clean and showers are great! I stayed here for close to a week and loved it. Only complaint is that the downstairs dorm can be really noisy as it’s right next to the social areas.

I really recommend this place if you are going to Huacachina! The dorms are big and clean, comfortable beds and lockers. TV area, clean showerooms, nice rooftop with a kitchen. The best part however is the rooftop restauranr! best food in town (try the sweet and spicy chicken wings, delicious), with a nice vibe and amazing view. You get 10% discount if you are staying at the hotel, and the food isn't too expensive. You can also access the swimmingpool oppsite which is a great place to relax! the only negative part would be the staff at the reception which wasn't very welcoming at first but it was okay. loved it!

I booked female dormitory - because as I researched this is the only hostel which has female dorm, however they try to give me a mixed dorm and they said female form is full (a guy who can say only spanish) I asked other one who can speak English - A english can speaking guy says they are not offer female dorms few month ago, all rooms are now mixed. So I said "Ok then I cannot pay you full. You shouldnt get a booking with fake" Then a miracle happens, they have a female dorm - with 3 beds are left out of 6. I still do not understand why they try to give me a mixed dorm. I would like to pay in USD 12(the room charge was 11.28) and they didnt give me back 0.62cents which is in abt 2.16 sols. full of liars and scams hope they become rich with 2.16sols.

This hostel is in a perfect location, only 5 minute walk from plaza de armas. Staff were very helpful and rooms were kept clean. Would also recommend eating dinner while staying here
