Good value for money, excellent location, free breakfast (basic one), rooms are quite spacious. Shout out to Shannon for the free Monday walking tour, he is informative! The only downside is the bunkbeds make some noises if the one who sleeps above you keeps moving at night.

This is my first hostel stay and has by far, exceeded my expectations! Check in and check out were both hassle free and I was even allowed to leave my baggage in their storage room since my flight was still later in the afternoon. Its centrally located so everything is either walking distance or a tram ride away. Got sad to find out that they are closing their doors on May 31. Was planning to stay there when I return. :(

It’s walking distance to Degraves Street, train station, and tram. Many restaurants and convenience store nearby. Value for money because it’s comfortable, clean, and offers simple breakfast (toast, cereal, milk). Great service!

Perfect location”
The location is perfect, good price, however, the cleanness is not so great. Many residents left their dirty tableware and leftover everywhere making the public area very dirty, even though the porters cleaned the kitchen several times.

Pros: Quiet room, comfy bed, thick comforter, lobby and common area is on a diff floor so rooms and hallways are kept quiet, far walk from the southern cross 20min, good location with plenty of shops, cheap rate with free breakfast Cons: No individual sockets near the bunk bed, creaky bunk beds, toilets and showers are shared which is a given for dorm accommodation but there are a few with common toilets but with individual toilet/showers

best location kind staffs(except the stubborn middle aged male staff 😰) good accomodation (satisfied comparing with the price) breakfast, shared kitchen, and coin laundry was good (unfortunately, in the shared kitchen, my food was stolen... be careful) you’d better keep your lock and slippers and keep in mind you share the space with others and respect them. good luck
