Room not clean ”
Room wasn’t clean upon checked in. Rubbish left by previous users were still around either beneath bed or stuffed next to bed
Super friendly and good facilities!”
On that booking day ( Thursday) was free BBQ. It held the special event, Summer christmas. Nice food and cakes are all free and decorated nice christmas stuff in the common area. There is a kiosk in common area. So you can get snacks and drinks including alcohol. But it wasn't noisy at all at night. It's bit far from St. Kilda beach for 20mins on foot. But it's OK because the accommodation is nice. To city, you can take a tram in front of the hotel. アジア人は私ひとりでしたが、フレンドリーな人ばかりで楽しめます。水回りも充分綺麗でした :)
Next time would go back here!
Great Hostel with super friendly staff.”
Loved this hostel. Nice clean rooms and very friendly staff. Close to transport which is right in front of the facility. Nightly activities which include a Barbeque. Kitchen does get busy but staff make sure the place is fairly clean. Lovely Manager and gorgeous puppy which is the Hostel’s Mascot.
Valued for me”
Near tram to city. Near the beach, can walk only 15 minutes. Facilities are all around the lobbies. A lot of toilets and very clean. The kitchen is so big. It's suitable for workers and backpackers.
I absolutely loved this place!”
Great vibe. Nice people.. the only thing is that the rugs are absolutely filthy and I saw black mold on my ceiling. They should just rip up the carpet and polish the cement floors. It's cheaper and easier to clean.
Fine for over night stay or for back packers.”
Didn't realise it was back pack accommodation when I booked but as we had a private room all was fine. Room was small but fine for an o/ n stay. No soap in bath to wash hands !? Good value for money for a one night stay.
Not what I expected”
Some of the staff were quite pleasant .not allowed to bring food or drinks .not enough parking ..will not be in my first choices next time
highly recommend. friendly stuff, great facility. free tea, coffee and breakfast etc I wanna visit again.
Noisy and small room”
Nice staff. Cleanliness is still ok although the bed was a little bit smelly. Toilet is clean and above standard. Room is small but still okay. Many young people staying there and there are organized events nights to nights. Quite crowd.... bands, songs.
The hotel condition was good. Clean and tidy. The best things of this hotel was its location, which easy access to some attraction points. The staffs and facilities was well prepared and became one of the best choices for backpackers which required best price for nice living stayed for several days. Overall, the hotel condition great. Will intro to more travellers.
Feel the Vibrance”
Pleasant. Convenient. Inspired.
Best hostel ever!”
Met other people so easily in the hostel's context at meals, lounge activities and very harmonious atmosphere almost warm like home.
A decent budget stay if you want your money to last longer in Melbourne. A nice place to make lots of friends too.
Comfortable after a long flight”
Our stay at Habitat HQ Hostel was comfortable after a 14 hours flight. The room was clean, large enough for 2 people, and a good place to stay for a few days or a quick stopover.
Award Winning Hotel”
so many new things of how to run a hotel i never seen before. real eye opener.
clean and compact, all we needed”
I wasn't too impressed when I saw fellow residents sitting on the floor drinking and chatting.
Lovely hotel and service, but far from city center”
Clean hotel, big room, 24 hour reception, friendly and helpful. Common room is always crowded, perfect for who likes socializing. But you have to ride tram to the city center about 20 minutes, should cost 4 to 7.6 AUD. If you want to save transport costs, you should find hotel near the city center. So you can take advantage of free city circle tram.
