I stayed at the hotel for 4 nights. I really enjoy staying there. It was a great staff at the receiption. Special Chris and Hernan. They told me a lot of surrounding. I did day trips that they fixed for me. The location is good and there are cheap taxi everywhere. I will stay there again
I chose Hotel Alex because I wanted a hotel as near Caracas Airport as possible. But it is actually about 50 minutes away by taxi and the fare is around 500 Bolivares ($80 at official rate, $12.50 at black market rate). The hotel is at a fair price from what you get on the Agoda website, but if you can pay in cash when you get there, clearly the price can be either very expensive or very cheap, depending on your method of obtaining cash. I think the restaurant and fitness centre are not actually owned by Hotel Alex as in the case of the restaurant, a voucher is needed for breakfast. The staff do their job fairly enough but friendliness or interest in their customers is non-existent. The neighbourhood is a "definitely do not go out at night" area. So, if you need an airport hotel, this will not offend you, but there could be nearer and better.

Cómo crítica constructiva redeñaria la falta de personal calificado (meseros bartenders) no me sentí tan agradable ya que este personal no está capacitado para el rol que desempeñan. No son para nada atentos y sentí que les estaba pidiendo algo gratis cuando fué todo lo contrario y hasta cobraron SERVICIO... COBRARON POR PÉSIMO SERVICIO... Con el personal de recepción y mucamas no tengo ningún tipo de queja.

1 si vas en pareja quieren entregar una sola llave entonces si tu pareja se queda dormida en la habitación uno no puede entrar tienes que despertar a tu pareja ya que si sacas la llave todo el circuito de habitación se apaga. Esto es insólito. En el restaurante no quisieron darme servicio de habitación porque solo le habían llegado 2 mesoneros y tenían falta de personal el precio es muy bueno pero el servicio y la atención del personal deja mucho que desear
Trato muy correcto y muy limpio todo
Este hotel no se puede catalogar ni 3 mucho menos 4* cómo se describe. El aire sonaba muchísimo. La TV solo tenía canales de señal abierta. La habitación asignada era sencilla y en la reserva decía superior. No nos quisieron cambiar por lo del aire porque según ese día no habían más habitaciones y el técnico no estaba. No me quedaría jamás de hecho cancelé el resto de los días

Un hotel que solo dispone de infraestructura, pero ninguna calidad en El servicio. Los ruidos en la habitación son insoportables, al parecer las tuberías de aguas no fueron bien ubicadas y cada vez que accionaban el inodoro o la ducha era todo un concierto de ruidos, al igual que el aire acondicionado. El wifi solo está dispuesto en el lobby y no en las habitaciones y los zancudos en el primer piso disponían de toda libertad. Nada recomendable.
