Pros: Staff were very helpful and friendly. Also spoke a bit of English. The location is just 10min walk from Shinjuku Station, so relatively convenient. The walk was doable with large suitcases. The room had a new air con, strong shower pressure, and a washlet toilet seat. They also provided toiletries in the bathroom, which was nice. Free wifi. Was fast and dependable. Cons: the area (called Kabukicho) is known for scammy host night clubs. We didn’t care about this so much, but the young guys working the streets are super loud, shouting and carrying on into the wee hours of the morning, even at 6:00. We were on the 9th floor on a Sunday night and could still hear them all night long. The room walls are super thin and we could hear drunk people talking and shouting in other rooms above us and to the sides of us. The room was super dated, like late 80’s or early 90’s. The bedspread had cigarette burns and stains on it. The lamp shades and wallpaper were yellow stained with 30-40 years of cigarette smoke. All in all, we were looking for a cheap room in a good location and were able to find this place - about 1/2 the price or more than other hotels in the area. The room wasn’t dirty per se, but was just in desperate need of a renovation. Surprisingly enough, for budget travelers, I’d recommend it. The front staff are very friendly & helpful and we had no real issues with anything.
The hotel is easy to find and close to the train station. It is in a vibrant walkable neighbourhood. The room was small, likely comfortable by Tokyo standards for the cost. We unfortunately had a smoking room but they did provide a fabric spray that with liberal application and an open window (in winter temps!) helped. The bed is low and not the most comfortable with heavy pillows and everything is generally quite old and dated. For the neighbourhood and Tokyo standards it is likely a good choice for this price range. Note the staff do not speak English so have your translate app handy. There is luggage storage and a mini mart downstairs but really no other facilities. Thankfully there is an elevator. No airport shuttle arrangements available as listed on Agoda site but their are airport Express trains at the nearby Shinjuku station.
Location is great in middle of shinjuku. Must leave key at reception every time you leave and cleaning on demand. Great value for money in general and would stay again when I Tokyo. Polite and accommodating staff.
The location is right at the kabukicho area, walking distance from golden gai and shinjuku shopping street. Really cheap yet big clean rooms even thought the hotel is a little bit old. With complete amenities, and everything you need is provided.

“Good location, near almost everything”
Location wise this is a good hotel because it's near almost everything from known tourist spots to many restaurants and shopping centers (esp. donki). This is also close to the airport bus terminal so it's very convenient, and around 10-15 mins walk to subways. Unlike other reviews, we never experienced any loud noise or commotion from the outside so we had a good night rest during our stay. Though when you go outside, it's true that there's a loooooooot of bars and we noticed people (esp guys) waiting for you know what in the streets, so I would not suggest this area to solo female travelers and with kids. They won't bother you much though if you just keep walking. There are also a lot of good looking people so it's kinda amusing when we see one. I would recommend this hotel if crowded streets and bars wouldn't bother you much and you're just there to rest from late nights to early mornings. Room was ok, it's clean as we request for room service every 2 days, though they wont change bed covers which is ok, maybe you also need to request for it too. I think their room is much bigger than others in Tokyo since we still had a small table and two chairs a the foot of the bed. If you're outside most of the time and just need a decent place to sleep then this is good, however, if you prefer a peaceful neigborhood and need a bit of a relaxing time then you might as well look for other hotels.
