I usually don't leave reviews, but I decided to leave one for the first time. 1. It takes about 13-15 minutes to walk from Shinjuku Station. 2. If you can't walk to Shinjuku Station from Shinjuku Sancho-me Station, you can transfer and cross the street to get to the station. However, if you want to take a look around while walking, one station distance is not too far... 3. Trusting the reviews, I went to the bakery next door on the first floor. The character bread is very cute and delicious. It's closed on Sundays. 4. There is a Lawson convenience store about a 3-minute walk from the accommodation, and a FamilyMart convenience store 5 minutes away across the street. 5. There are many foreigners in the bars along Golden Gai near the accommodation. Cash is essential, indoor smoking is allowed, and the seating feels cramped with 5-7 chairs close together, like tatami seating. 6. The accommodation is also typically small for Japan. You can't pass through the hallway when the bathroom door is open; you have to close it to walk by. 7. The character bread is very cute and delicious. It's closed on Sundays. 4. There is a Lawson convenience store about a 3-minute walk from the accommodation, and a FamilyMart convenience store 5 minutes away across the street. 5. There are many foreigners in the bars along Golden Gai near the accommodation. Cash is essential, indoor smoking is allowed, and the seating feels cramped with 5-7 chairs close together, like tatami seating. 6. The accommodation is also typically small for Japan. You can't pass through the hallway when the bathroom door is open; you have to close it to walk by. 7. Our five-day stay at Sunlite Hotel with my youngest son was truly memorable. The room was just the right size, equipped with all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. While the hotel offers cleaning service on the guest’s preferred day, this was not an issue for us as we spent most of our time exploring the beautiful sights of Tokyo. Since it was my first solo trip to Tokyo, I arrived early at Shinjuku Station, but all the coin lockers were full, so I had nowhere to put my luggage. Then I arrived at the accommodation, and they were able to store my luggage. After checking my passport, I received the key number and stored my luggage. After spending a great first day, I returned and checked in, but they asked for an additional 200 yen for tax, which I paid. Occasionally, there are people who say that they have already paid the tax, but I just thought it might be the hotel policy and went ahead and paid it. I was assigned a room at the end of the 5th floor. My first impression upon entering the room was, "Is it clean...?" There were occasional reviews about dirty carpets and bugs, but the carpet was clean, and no bugs appeared.. The amenities were continuously provided on the first floor, which was great. I booked a smoking room since I smoke. I was a bit worried because there were comments about the smell of cigarette smoke lingering in the room, but they had deodorant available, and thanks to the fabric spray I brought from Korea, I felt refreshed. The heating worked very well, it only goes up to 30 degrees, but when I woke up, it was just a warm morning. Honestly, on the first day, I felt that it was quite far from the station, but after walking around, I think it's a very close hotel. Sancho-me is really nearby (it's closer to come out from C7 than B2) and Shinjuku Station only feels far when carrying luggage, but without luggage, I thought it was close. Lawson/Seven Eleven are nearby, and the hotel staff are really nice! If you come to stay in tokyo ,i think this is one of the best choice . Location in shinjuku area al are in walking distance Isetan , Muji shop or else one block of buiding to reach out and you can go from Jr and Nex or to highway bus station directly by underground walk of subway exit E1 (with elevator)(opposite the hotel) through E10 upto JR and NEX station (smooth walkway for your luggage wheels 15 min no stepping )

We booked our trip to Tokyo relatively late, so we found that a lot of affordable options were already booked. This hotel popped up on Agoda and we figured we’d give it a try. The location was great - about 5 minute walk to Shinjuku-sanchome Station. The room definitely is small, but that was expected. We are two adults and both had a 42L backpack and a daypack and the room was tight. We really were only at the hotel to sleep, as we spent all day venturing around Tokyo, so the size of the room wasn’t a big deal for us. Room & bathroom were clean, staff was friendly during check in. It’s probably not going to be the nicest place you ever stay, but it does the trick!
