"Great! Hotel was build next to BTS track, so there could be some slight noises as the train passes by but as we are sound sleepers, we could still sleep till noon. Less than 10mins walk to MBK, Siam Discovery Centre, Siam Center and Siam Paragon (at Siam BTS station). Area is relatively safe as after 9pm, there are police location outside a government building but road can get rather dark as track blocks out street lights at some angles. THe only complain would be the WIFI which is relatively slow at times and login process is rather complex. Bathroom drainage system is not as good on our 2nd & 3rd night, ponding observed. Suitable for friends who likes privacy while sharing, as one person can be inside bathing while the other at the sink brushing teeth as they are separate areas with nothing see thru. Toilet seat was heated with temperature control. Shower room and toilet bowl area shares the same door, so can only close either one."

"Stay few days and overall was satisfied. It is a boutique hotel and liked the atmosphere. It has its own colour as can be seen in photos. Rooms were clean. Service was good. Breakfast was excellent. Location was ideal as you can take a quick taxi ride to Old City for sightseeing, BTS ride to Sukhumvit for dining and massage and Jim Thompson's house is just next door (5 mins walking distance). Also shipping centres (BTS, Siam Paragon, Siam Centre and so on) are just one BTS station away or 5 ~ 10 minute walk Taxi ride from the airport should be around 350 baht (including airport charge and 2 toll charges) and back to airport should be around 300 baht. Hotel will inform you that it is around 500~550 baht and taxi drivers will claim the same. But I actually travelled from the hotel to airport in early morning for 220 baht as the driver bypassed all the toll booth. Swimming pool can be a good place to chill out and ground floor bar is very expensive for drinking for Thai price but good place for a drink or two with live music."

"The hotel is centrally located in city center where all the malls and night night life is taking place, not to mention with convenient BTS station crisscrossing in the area which are all within 5-10min walking distance. Just a few minutes from the hotel is Erawan Shrine@Hyatt Hotel/Central World Shopping Mall/Siam Paragon/Siam Discovery Centre/Up market Gaysorn Mall next door/Platinum Centre selling all kind of cheap and casual clothings 10min walk away. From the hotel, you can take BTS either from Chidlom or Siam BTS station to Saladaeng Station@Silom where night comes to life till late at night for variety of bargain hunting shopping and inexpensive meals along the street or nearby restaurants."

"Visit Bangkok on Nov 2018 with my old parents and young child. Take up 3 rooms for 4 nights at Asia Hotel. My comments for the hotel are, an old time big hotel with 4 star hotel build up and facilities. Located just 1 stop away from SIAM BTS Station and linking directly to Radchethewi BTS Station (with linked bridge to hotel 2nd floor or just walk 100 meter for Station Lift). Have two 7eleven just around the corner. Have nice hawker food along the street. Opposite have Hungry Nerd cafe (serving cheap steak ), Cat Cafe (if u like cat). Daily room service are prompt and efficient. Credit to a team of young man who work hardworkingly in cleaning our room daily. (I stay in 9th floor during this period). Only set back is the check-in time, though with 8 staffs in counter but still take us 20 min to get the keys. And also the color faded floor carpet (though I think is clean but will make u felt dirty when u see the colour). Will recommend to friend and will come again ."

"my family and i stayed here for 4 days, 3 nights between christmas and new years. we were fortunate enough to get a rate on agoda that made the executive floor reasonably priced. i stayed with my wife and kids, aged 6 and 2, and we all had a wonderful time. throughout our time at the novotel, every staff member was friendly, kind, and courteous. they went out of their way to ensure that all of us had a great stay. the kids loved the pool. it is a decent size and has a kids pool that was suitable for my youngest to play. it is also high enough up (on the 4th floor) to make sure there were no bugs to bother you. the executive lounge was great, and definitely worth it. the breakfast buffet was plentiful and had a great variety of food. the drinks throughout the day made for a nice pit stop between sightseeing trips. in the evening it was nice to relax with a bottle of wine and a great tapas bar. as we live in bangkok, the lounge helped make our stay something special. we also loved the hotel for its location. situated across the street from siam paragon department store and the siam bts station, it was the perfect place to begin sightseeing, go shopping, or take in the night life. i highly recommend this hotel for your stay in bangkok."

"The location of Aphrodite Inn Hotel is at the heart of Bangkok which is near to shopping malls, Big C and Central World. Besides, walking to nearest BTS station Siam took us around 15 minutes but almost all the way was indoor. You can simply walk through various shopping malls and cross bridges to get to Siam BTS station. The hotel is very new and the atmosphere is very warm and comfortable. The staff are very nice and helpful. Even though the room size isn't big as if traditional Thai-style hotel room, it gives us very home-like feeling. But, the only one negative thing is the breakfast. The hotel does not offer buffet breakfast. Instead, you may choose 1 out of 3 choices, American breakfast, sandwich and omelet which can't be refilled. I think it's a bit small in size for men. Of course, you may ask for refilling drinks, such as orange juice, coffee and tea."

"i stayed at this hotel for the second time now and it is undoubtedly one of the best in bkk. located on top of the central world shooping mall (biggest shopping mall in asia) and close to siam bts station (where the heart of shopping finds place: siam paragon mall, mbk, siam square, digital truemove) it is very convenient to get anywhere quickly. the rooms are nice clean and all of them provide a high-floor view over the city. spacious bathrooms feature a bathtub a big round shower. the lobby is beautiful staff is very competent and helpful. pool area simply awesome--- gym is actually the best i've ever seen in a hotel so far. (breathtaking view from the treadmills over the city). on top of that centara grand features the red sky bar on the 55th floor open until 1am everyday. best views guaranteed. only drawback is the price. everything is overpriced at this hotel. every drink, internet, business center, breakfast, it's more expensive than even in europe! for breakfast we payed 756thb. almost four times more than at aetas residences in bkk. for 5min internet and 4 pages printed we payed 220thb!! for thai measures very expensive. room price is ok tho'"

"i thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. the deluxe room had a kitchenette as well which was a pleasant surprise. full size fridge, toaster, sink and kitchen amenities. we did not utilise it though i can imagine those who like to cook would be able to enjoy this room. location-wise, this hotel is superb. within 3 minutes of a not-so-crowded bts station, ratchadamri which is one stop away from siam station. highly convenient. also near to platinum fashion mall but we only took the cab there. considering how near it is, the taxi ride was relatively cheap. i also enjoyed the fitness centre at the hotel. i used the gym and the fitness studio which was extremely pleasant and fully-equipped. they also ensure that the stations that have been used by guests are immediately cleaned and sterilised which i appreciate. hygiene is important to me! furthermore the changing room with its sauna, steam room and jacuzzi made the workout more enjoyable for me =) overall, highly recommended for its location and amenities.love it!"

"Was here with my girlfriend from 14 Feb 2013 to 18 Feb 2013. The reason that made me book this hotel was its very competitive price on Agoda.com. Don't think there are much hotels as cheap and as strategically located as Ibis Siam. We reached the hotel earlier than the stipulated check in time and immediately after a few admin procedures, we were given our room keys. Ace. We were given a room on the top floor of the hotel and the rooms were nice and cosy. Just nice for two people. The room looked new and smelled fresh. Toilets were just nice as well (mainly because both of us aren't big-sized. Bigger sized individuals might find manoevuering in the toilet a little tricky and squeezy. Our only complaint was that there was constant drilling and knocking on the 17th floor due to construction and tooth brush and tooth paste were not provided. Having a hotel literally next to the BTS was a total charm. After a long day out in the city, the last thing you want to do is carry your luggage a few hundred metres or more to your hotel. We just had to come down a flight of stairs from the bts station and voila... there our hotel was. The deal we booked did not include breakfast (was expecting the staff to be kind enough to offer it complimentary but alas, they did not - not a big issue to me though). We had our breakfast every day at a thai local eatery just next to the hotel at pranee building. They are open every day except sundays. The staff was helpful and command of english was adequate. Concierge was particularly helpful in recommending places to visit (Even though we had places we wanted to go in mind), as well as efficient in hailing taxis for us. All in all, a very comfortable and happy stay... would tip everyone if i had more baht remaining. Haha. Would definitely come back to Ibis Siam the next time i'm in Bangkok."
