Very impressed with service and location!!”
Great greeting from frontline staff as soon as I arrived. Cheerful and helpful!! Units very nice, roomy and lovely and clean, with great views.Very comfy beds and very quiet NO noises from adjoining rooms [ which is a change from some places Ive stayed in] Also not too far from the International Airport [ thought the guys driving the green shuttles were extra nice also, and helpful] and super close to the domestic airport. Was told about a walking track instead of the shuttle but the weather was against that one. Also I had a pretty heavy suitcase to juggle.Buffet breakfast was good value for money ,plenty to chose from. I would certainly stay there again.
great and newish”
very clean and new hotel.
PERFECT way to end your trip in Australia”
if you are looking for a place to rest your head before heading to the airport - this is it! Perfect in so many ways - price point, employee service, food, cleanliness, comfort, shuttle service, and its even stylish!
Excellent for the airport hub - pity about the add ons.”
We enjoyed staying here in the past - the buz of the restaurant and the convenience of the connection to both airports is outstanding- but it seems increasingly this comes at price that gows way past the higher room rate you’d expect. Despite this relatively high room night (OK it was just after Christmas) “free wifi” was only for an hour and was then plus $10 or $24 up charge depending on your download need.s. This seemed petty and mean fisted to me and way above the cost of providing the service. Also everything else (shuttles to terminals parking) to seemed way too expensive. Unfortunately the whole experience has begun to feel like a one time big hit. I doubt it encourages customer loyalty. We certainly will carefully examine whether the convenience is worth it in the future.
Having paid an average price for the room we were stung $40 for car parking. Travellers beware. Car parking is free at the Ibis Budget just down the road in Nudgee.
The best airport accom as you can walk to the hotel
Great airport hotel”
As we had an early morning flight we found that the location of the hotel meant we could walk across to the airport when we needed to without having to wait for a shuttle bus. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room very clean.
Good, but somewhat overpriced”
The rooms are OK, clean and comfortable if somewhat sparsely furnished. Excellent water pressure and plenty of hot water in the shower (which is very important to me). I enjoyed the stay, and the convenient location for the domestic airport, but have one or two niggles, especially that only one hour' internet (and not super fast) is included in the room tariff. Seriously? In 2018?
great place to stay for a night if you are flying interstate or overseas, there is a shuttle bus that comes about every 40 minutes to take you to the international airport, this hotel is about a 250 metre walk to the domestic terminal, very clean rooms with a good restaurant and bar down stairs . i arrived early and was told rooms were available but if i wanted to check in early ( which was only 2 hours early ) they wanted to charge me $50 , needless to say i declined and walked across to the terminal for a coffee and a bite to eat for an hour or two. friendly staff and great food selection at the restaurant with large servings.
Enjoyable stay ”
Bathroom was a little on the small side and felt the price was a bit steep but is a modern hotel with friendly staff. If your budget will stretch, definitely choose the Pullman next door but the Ibis is a good cheaper alternative.
Convenient and efficient accommodation experience”
I chose ibis because we had to catch an early flight and ibis Brisbane Airport has a great geographical advantage. The service in the hotel is very good, the front desk staff is very warm, and the restaurant is very nice. We booked the shuttle bus at 6:15 in the next morning and it picked us up at the hotel on time. However, the signage of the hotel was not clear. When we arrived at Brisbane domestic terminal, we found that the hotel was just across the road, but we could not reach it. Finally, we found the way to the hotel after consulting the staff of the information desk in the terminal. I hope the hotel can make clearer signage in the terminal.
Shuttle starting early in morning was a godsend for us as we needed to get from domestic terminal to international terminal in a short turn round. Hotel was ideally located to deliver that. Rooms were quiet. Milk in fridge for English tea drinkers! Ibis did just what we needed. Thanks!
Poor service ”
We arrived late at night after Long flight, but the front desk refused us to check in soon, as they said we only booked the room for two adults. But we told them the room we booked should have three beds and we didn’t mind to share beds with two young children, but they still disagreed even through we agreed to TOP up fees for headcount. They insisted us to book another room and proposed we could have room connection together. In the end we were so tired and hungry, so we were forced to pay for another room, then they told us they couldn’t arrange the room to be connected, only provided us two rooms in different level. Also their cafe was already closed, we couldn’t buy dinner for young children, this was terrible. We were really disappointed with their arrangement, this hotel is totally no consideration and only the money collector, we won’t stay this hotel and this brand hotel again. Hope this can remind every traveller to be careful.
Good Location for early morning flight”
The hotel was really close to the domestic airport making it easy to get to and to get to flight the next morning. The staff were super friendly and helpful and made you very welcome. The rooms were bigger then expected and very clean. Bathrooms ok size for room space. Had more then enough room for myself. Would definitely stay here again and if you're getting an early morning flight the next day then this is the hotel for you.
Close but difficult to get to”
It was great but my taxi had no idea how to get to the hotel and drove in circles, costing over $20.
great for transit in Brisbane”
Great for transit in Brisbane
Stayed at the Ibis Hotel located within ten minutes walking distance to the Brisbane Domestic Airport. The room was very clean and comfortable especially for staying for one night. Customer service was very attentive and the ladies at reception always had a smile. I recommend the Ibis Brisbane Airport.
Airport convenience, great choice ”
Booking this hotel on behalf of my parents, a perfect choice for their early morning connecting flight. They enjoyed the hotel restaurant food and wine, the cleanliness and size of the rooms. Were pleased with the walking distance from the Domestic Airport. 5am bus from the hotel to the International Airport. Will book for myself when connecting through.
Good Airport Hotel”
This hotel is new and still in good condition. The only feedback would be that there is clearer signs AT the terminal as to how to get started on the 10 minute walk to the hotel. There are plenty of signs after you get going, but getting started could confuse people who don't know the area. Internet is very limited.
So so helpful ”
I came in injured from a recent accident, on my birthday, and the staff were so incredibly kind and accommodating, making sure I was taken care of, had a handi accessible room, and gave me a birthday gift of free breakfast and a drink, it really made my day after a really rough few. The airport shuttle was also so convenient and well organised. So grateful, thank you so much ❤️
