Beautiful apartment :)”

This apartment has everything you need if you were to cook! There's a dishwasher and washing machine as well. Toiletries (shampoo, conditioner, body wash) provided were sufficient and really appreciated. A really nice place and my only small complaint was that it's not that spacious.

Good and affordable place in Melbourne!”

The apartment is very clean and comfortable to stay in. Washing machine is available in the toilet is you want to do some cleaning. Car rental shop is right opposite the apartment. If you’re looking to rent a car, it’ll be convenient. However, there is no reception area and u will have to pay for luggage storage if you arrive early. Don’t see any hair dryer in the apartment as well. Overall it is a very decent place to stay.

First time in Melbourne for a family holiday. ”

The location, facilities and rooms were excellent. I was disappointed however with the cleanliness. I didn’t feel like it was a well cleaned room. I went and brought Detol wipes, spray and wipe plus cloths and spent one hour cleaning. After that - I was heaps happier!! The other thing that would improve it a bit is if there was a broom, dustpan and brush and maybe even a mop. Not having any cleaning equipment did make the cleaning a little harder. You also need to be aware that for an 8 day stay, they only brought new towels once. An apartment for 4 people - 4 towels were supplied, and then another 4 half way through the stay. Other than the things above, the rest was excellent and I would stay there again. The location is superb and this was the bit that made our holiday very convenient. It is value for money, it would just be good if the cleaning was improved. Otherwise thanks for a lovely holiday.

Fantastic Location and Amenities”

Great location, smooth check-in, nice, clean and modern apartment and EXTREMELY good deal! Very affordable. Kudos to Winnie and Anna for helping us to check-in and attend us should we have problems. Will definitely stay again in IFSTAYS!

Excellent”

We stayed for 21 days. Apartment is located near to everything in Melbourne CBD. The best part is you have all the things needed to cook, wash and dry clothes. It is new. Just a bother to us the construction beside the apartment, just make sure you close the door as it become dusty. Cleaning once a week if you stayed more than 7 days i think. Pretty good stay.

Kitchen appliances were not as cleaned from previous guest. Made a complaint to the staff which they attended to promptly. Apartment was good value - had required appliances in the apartment needed for stay. Heater was not working but staff bought new heater and promptly provided it in the apartment.

Worst reception ever”

Room is clean and spacious. Location is good. But bare in mind there is no room service for this apartment. It’s more of Airbnb than hotel. Luggage storage after checkout will be a hassle. There is no reception at the lobby. Check in was a nightmare for us as our flight was delayed and only manage to reach the apartment after midnight. The guy from this center did tried to contact us. We were told to collect the keys from the center but the lights were off and door was locked. But when we tried to contact him, he just disappeared. Had to call the number given on the booking invoice. So after all these “drama” we finally managed to check in after almost an hour.

In the heart of Melbourne”

It's quite close to Chinese town area and you can find restaurants/convenient stores open 24 hrs nearby. The resident is inside an apartment building and no front desk available. You'll have to collect the key at a nearby shop. However the apartment itself is quite clean and spacious. We had a great stay there. Would recommend for other visitors!

The guest relation team (Winnie & Anna) were really good and ensured that our check in was seamless. The location was perfect and really near to the tram and train stations, making it super easy & convenient to travel. Also the apartment is within the free city circle tram service so that was excellent. However, while the apartment provided was clean, no cleaning service was provided and there was only one rubbish bin provided with no additional bin bags, so this was an issue. Also, the pots and pans provided in the apartment were damaged so we weren’t to comfortable with cooking, but that’s a matter of choice. It would have been great if the apartment came with a dryer since drying clothes was a bit difficult. Overall it was good.

Great Place, Not so great staff”

The apartment was decent and the location was pretty good. Just a 5 mins walk to Melbourne Central and Queen Victoria Market. There were supermarkets near by so anything you needed was always within arm's reach. I would definitely stay in the same tower, just perhaps not deal with the same company.

Everything is good ”

the apartment is located in very convenient place. can easily access to trams, train and restaurants . Only thing I don't like is the key. Only one key is given and it's not that convenient for four people living in two bed room apartment.

Great Views in great apartment in CBD”

Great place, great view and great location. Wish we could check in earlier and check out later. Check in was at 2pm (you need to put your luggage at a storage) and they dont have a reception table. Check out is at 10am.

Location is the best”

Walking to QVM is quite near, shopping location and chinatown around 5-10 mins, amazing skyline view from where we stayed 3105, just be careful with the sofa kind a wiggling and also the tables, thus we never used the sofa and the table

Our experience at the EQ Tower, Queen Street, Melbourne ”

Firstly thankyou for an enjoyable stay in the EQ Tower, level 32 – Room 3, occupied by Mr Peter & Maria Herrington from the Tuesday 2nd July till Monday 8th July 2019. On arrival at the EQ Tower, we found some issues within the apartment which needed attention, some were fixed, some not. In all, there were 7 problems, top of glass Shower Door touching glass Side Panel, Toilet Seat loose, 2 Wine Glasses cracked, Missing cutlery & plates, Dirty marks on bedroom carpet, Human black hair embedded into bedroom carpet, Dirty Cotton Bud lodged under sliding door track, Soiled sofa cushion. All these issues should be reported well before any guests arrives. Closer inspection of the bedroom carpet more black hair was sighted!! We requested when booking if we could have high elevated room, not near a Lift Shaft, what did we get a room on the 32 level, next to 4 lift shafts and Communications Room. Also we were under a Air Conditioning Plant, which kept us awake when in operation. Not Good

Not enough toilet paper rolls”

Booked for 4nights long stay for 4 people but the room were not serviced meaning we had overflowing bin + ran low on toilet papers towards the end of the stay. Wouldn't recommend for staying longer than 2 nights.

Service is bad and some electrical equipment are broken”

I book a 4 nights reservation. I found the light in living room and refrigerator were broken after I checked-in. I informed the customer team immediately by e-mail because there is no front counter. They told me they could not change my room because no any vacancy. I SPENT around 5 hours for contacting customer team inside of the room and than waitting for house keepers. I only can stay in room and wait their delay e-mail reply. Their service is very unconvenient. So I cannot buy any food which need to put in refrigerator. I cannot buy raw beef,milk,fresh juice,etc. I PAID the same accommodation fee as others but I CANNOT use the same electrical equipment . It was my the worst accommodation experience. I felt angry even though I got a new room last night. The EQ team will sent a e-mail to you after you check-out and tell you that you could get a gift next time stay if you write a 5 stars review. I don`t think it is a good way because the evaluations will be unfair maybe.
