Great spot”
Great little accommodation with beautiful views, gardens and great small pool. Room is very basic, no amenities or TV but has everything you need to be comfortable on an island getaway and for the price you can’t go wrong. We were in room 11 the highest room and the great views came with 110 steep steps. We are fit so it was fine but could be an issue for someone who wasnt or who had kids.

Great view and staff, horrible hotel with mice and cockroaches”
Found a cockroach in our room. Not decorated with care. There was a mouse on the patio climbing into the bar. Staff was as considerate as can be, but would never stay here again. Left a day early because we were so grossed out. Hotel did not offer a refund even after we complained.

The accom was ok , the staff remiss of my personal need ”
With a per -existing cardiac diagnosis and a recent acute painful ( R) hip ( trochanteric bursitis ) the staff did nothing to re-locate me , 70 steps on a steep incline were difficult / impossible for me , other lower level bungalows were unoccupied !!!!!!!!!! We left , at financial loss and found other accommodation , the staff at Lembongan Reef Bungalows , couldn’t have cared less !

great location”
the reef is in a great location, and were very cooperative in moving me down to room 1, as there are alot of stairs to the rooms further up the cliff. breakfast was great, and all in all i would stay again. if you have mobility issues or bad knees request lower rooms near the pool

Great Stay Great Price ”
Loved this place . The only thing is if your lazy there's lots of stairs for the higher numbered rooms but it's a good work out anyway ; ) Friendly staff , great restaurant views , and the view is worth the top of the stairs rooms .

Very good”
We loved the Lembongan Reef. The location is spot on. 5 minute walk from the beach drop off to the cliff side hotel. Elevation is what makes this place stand out. The views are awesome. If you were on the mainland you'd be paying triple. There is a trade off for the view and that is stairs. If you know Bali and their building codes then you'll know how these stairs are built. They are random. We had 98 of them to the room (Bungalow 8) and I'm not as fit as I used to be, but take it slow and you can do it 2 or three times a day easy. The rooms are large and so is the bed. The bed is hard however. Too hard for me. The aircon worked perfect. The room is a little light on a few things. No kettle, not chairs(except on porch), no safe and no luggage rack. The only thing that really bothered me was no safe. The staff are super friendly and we were always taken care of. The restaurant is Ok. Similar prices to the others around the same area but a little pricey compared to other Warungs we found. The pool area is small ,but enough and rarely busy . There are only 11 bungalows ,so not a lot of people there at one time. Lembongan Reef is all about location. I am so glad we chose to stay here and I would stay here again ,even despite the hard bed. Note not all rooms have the same view even if you go up. I'd say 7 might have the best, but we were happy with 8. Didn't go up to 11. Too may steps.

dissapointing ”
The staff were great and the view is breathtaking , but i cant say anything good about much else .It is so old and needs so much repair ,it would not recommend Reef .Last year stayed a couple of doors up in a villa , and loved it so much ,but unfortunately we couldn't get in because of renos ,although it was a bit pricier , it was worth it

Hillside bungalow”
Great views, LOTS of steps! Try and get a lower bungalow. Friendly and accommodating staff. Clean rooms. Hot water comes in and out. Great infinity pool with view. Restaurant is ok. Good for the price. There is construction going on both sides of the bungalow but it is the rainy season.

Awesome pool views, Cheap hotel, friendly staff”
Basic rooms but very clean. Showers weren't great; kept falling apart and one day there was no hot water but it's so hot in Bali we didn't mind. Infinity pool overlooking the beautiful Bay was stunning. Staff were lovely, Cheap hotel, reasonable price, we would still stay there again.

Quiet stay ”
Tired bathrooms and no tv in the room. It's a very quiet island so some entertainment if you wanted the option would have been appreciated. Breakfast included was very simple but ok. Full buffet would bring it up to par. No phone in room so walking down the 100 steps wasn't fun to ask for wifi code. Otherwise spectacular views. Simple well kept bungalows. Would stay again but not at top of stairs

Disappointed ”
The hotel is situated with a fantastic view of scooby doo beach , and the views are priceless! That's about the only thing going for this hotel. We have a young child and were put in a room at the top of the cliff (110 Bali steps up from the pool) they were quite tuff going in the 32deg heat. There was no hotel phone or wifi available to contact the hotel reception. We all got sick and needed our bending changed, I went down and was handed reasonably clean sheets but when changed the pillow cases noticed
