Room is good and clean. Bed was too soft had a sore back after our stay here. Way too expensive for what we paid for had to pay extra from a queen to single beds which I was not happy with that. Nothing for food wise only option is to go Werribee plaza. Need more options for a food situation. Lift pretty small. Shower is pretty dangerous as floor was very slippery after our showers. No safety at all.
Disappointed at first, but staff were very helpful and understanding and corrected the situation for us. We had a lovely stay at The Mansion, it was a special experience for us. It is a beautiful historical property with magnificent gardens, right next door to the Werribee Zoo. So it was very convenient for us to pop next door the next day to do the Off Road Safari we had booked at the Zoo. The staff were very friendly and very helpful. They are a credit to their employer. We will certainly be recommending The Mansion to our friends, but would be steering them away from staying in the Heritage room deal. as it is a big disappointment when you arrive to find that your room is at the very top of the stair case, is dark and the view out the windows are nil. It is a big disappointment when you pay over $200.00 a night and expect it is going to be something special. Thankfully the staff were sympathetic towards our feelings and gave us a room equivalent to ones expectations.
Dear "Tourist"' Thank you for taking the time to review your stay with us. I am very pleased to hear that our staff promptly accommodated and made your stay pleasant. Our Wedding Experience ”
Where do I begin...when we first decided on this venue for our wedding, we were totally smitten by the beautiful manicured landscape of the entire establishment. The hotel was actually a monastery but that's OK as it doesn't give you the eerie feeling. But what was totally disappointing was the rooms....I personally didn't like the stainless steel sink in the bathroom as it felt like one of bathrooms during uni days. On top of that most of the power points don't work. That was very sad as it was our wedding and we needed to plug in so many devices but to no avail. Another point to note was there was no drinking water provided. I cannot believe this as we had the bridal suite hence all these that I mentioned should have been working/provided. Very disappointed indeed.
Really great time ”
Staff were better than some top of the line and very helpful. I would not say arriving at night is easy as you can get lost, I did. I totally enjoyed my stay after I found it and would stay there in preference to other motels in the area
Just a night stay over with no regrets. We checked in 7pm and out 7am next morning, we could not explore the Mansion and it’s Facilities. Staffs from the reception to the bar and restaurant delivered excellent service. Restaurant served exclusive 4 or 6 course fine dining, freshly bread sourdough bread, greens and herbs fresh from the garden, everything is awesome.......Yummy. We will be back.
Excellent Customer Service ”
Beautiful gardens - access to the Chirnside Mansion - close to the outdoor Werribee Zoo -
Heated pool was cold. Room was very small. Pigeons fluttering at window constantly. Food expensive. Very disappointed for the price it was.
Breakfast is consistently terrible for this price. Needs to improve level of service.
Hi Chris, Thank you for sharing feedback. I can't help but to notice that your recent feedback was from a stay in October 2018. It is, of course, disappointing to hear about the breakfast offerings during your stay. You will be pleased to know that we have updated our breakfast items. I hope you've enjoyed the rest of your stay in Werribee. We hope to see you again soon. Please reach out to myself or our Guest Relations Manager when you return! Kindest Regards, Alex Cheah Front Office Manager
Stayed here for a concert which made it very convenient. Thought it was overpriced as the rooms were tiny. Buffet breakfast was average. Hotel staff were lovely though
Beautiful venue let down by quality in rooms”
Werribee Mansion is a beautiful place to stay but unsealed and stained marble floor and stainless steel in bathroom let it down, as did heat damaged veneer cupboard in bedroom. Staff were lovely but lacking knowledge for problems in the hotel room. Very expensive ....expected more in hotel room...didn’t even have kettle and lighting very poor. Full length mirror in wardrobe with no light overhead...poorly designed.
Not earning the 5 stars”
Many things miss the mark here in my opinion: - Furniture is quite tired and there are many scratches/scuffs - Styling is confused. Elements of the historic mansion are mixed with gaudy modernity such as the chrome pillars in the lobby. How about a beautiful vase in the middle of the lobby with a flower arrangement? - The main hallways to the rooms are so bare and poorly lit that I felt I was walking the corridors of a dorm room. Add some character and warmth please. - I'd suggest some gentle music in the library. I don't think it has to be dead quiet, after all it isn't a real library. - The restaurant staff are friendly but inexperienced. I would also suggest some sort of door to close the view into the kitchen from the dining room. I appreciate that some restaurants feature the open kitchen however this kitchen does not do any favours in that regard. Perhaps wall it up with a serving window? - Consider a footpath from carpark to lobby so guests don't have to skip over puddles
We hade a family celebration which was lovely but it was a bit under whelming.”
Pros were the food and the pool. Cons wetethe dust every where for the $$ paid. Nevertheless still had a wonderful family celebration.
Great except for the room”
Small claustrophobic rooms, heavy bathroom door (wife couldn't open or close it). And only 1 chair for 2 people!? The newer superior rooms looked ok though. The restaurant was great value for money and great tasting food. Try the pork belly anything... will be nice! Cafe/Bar was good for a drink, but need to learn how to make a coffee... Park and outside areas.. Fantastic! Lots to see and admire.
Dear Zane, Thank you for your review and constructive feedback about your experience while staying with us. We look forward to welcoming you back to experience an improved service of the café and stay in one of our Superiors or Suites. Kind regards Hoa Pham Guest Relations Manager.

Lovely place to stay. Recommend junior suite. Buffet breakfast had good variety to choose from.
Elegant Werribee Mansion”
Whilst the room temperature was a little warm (& didn't seem to want to turn off!), it was a lovely stay.
