Great location with great friendly staff”
We touched down very early and reached the hotel at 7am to leave our bags with them. Even though checkin was at 2 or 3pm, we got a room by noon. They also assisted to book a hotel shuttle bus for our ride back to the airport. Location was the best!
Excellent hotel to stay ,staff excellent, facilities very good, location great, room very comfortable and clean, would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel as a great place to stay and will definitely stay here again, Thankyou for making my stay here very enjoyable
Good value for money”
Good location, spacious clean room, nice and quiet, comfy bed and good shower. Restaurant was fine but it was only on our last day we were told the buffet breakfast would have been discounted if we had pre-ordered. Free Wi-Fi was good but code wasn't provided without having to ask. In general we had a very pleasant, value for money 5 night stay.
New wifi was not working properly. If it wasn’t for James on reception it would have been disastrous for me as communication is so important these days. Tv reception was extremely poor for a capital city - absolutely not good enough
This is a very well kept, neat accommodation however it is a long walk from town .”
Lovely and clean, well kept and room for cars. However it certainly doesn't have a resort feel. Actually placed out of town so quite a walk into town if you don't have a vehicle. The restaurant is very good and great seafood at reasonab l e prices. Overall comfortable but pricey for the location.
Great sized Queen room with comfy beds and very clean! Just up the road from the train station and within short walking distance to restaurants and shops! Great assortment of hot and cold foods for breakfast! Only downside was noisy aircon in room 320. Will definitely stay here again!
very good locations, easy access to CBD and many halal food to the next block.
Value for money, comfortable & clean.”
Excellent location with Shopping Complex & Cinemas just across the Road from the Hotel & so close to the Murray Street & Hay Street Malls. Fantastic transportation options & availability, with a 'Cat Bus', Stop in front of the Hotel & Perth Train Station @ the beginning of Murray Street Mall as well.
Our go to place”
We always book Mantra on Murray. It's very central and it's great having access to a large gym off site.
Great location a little over priced but great staff.. great location..and late check out is a good ”
Everything was perfect. The room condition, big room and bathroom, the location, the public transports are just in walking distance. Suitable for Muslim family, since, there are lots of halal restaurant nearby.
There was this lady staff, Maria at the reception counter, she is very helpful and has a wonderful personality. Thank You Maria for your excellent service that make our 5 days 4 nights stay enjoyable. We will sure to stay again.
Great location and clean hotel room”
Easy access by Free buses to quite a number of places of interests. Nearby supermarkets like Coles juz across the road, Malls around, if you dont intend to cook, Halal restaurants(for Muslims) within walking distance eg like ISPA Kebabs, Ihsan Cafe, Karache, D'ankasa Restaurant and many more..
Will recommend for touring the city on public transport”
Good location, good value, clean and facilities like a small kitchen corner helps a lot for couples with young children. But there is no complementary parking which is a major downside. 'Season Parking' is available at the mall opposite the hotel at 30 a day, which will add up to a huge portion to the total cost of accommodation. Staff at the reception assists on our enquiry/request, but we feel they are usually quite cold and are not especially warm / helpful to go the extra mile to improve the experience. Overall a comfortable stay, will be back if planning for a short 1 or 2 nights' stay, just to go around the city on public transport.
Location, big room, friendly staff”
Overall the stay is good, location is a plus point, free Red CAT bus stop just in front of the hotel, many cafe & restaurant in the surrounding, few pubs opposite the hotel. Is good for those who love night life. The room is big, the king size bed is comfortable. The only problem is the sound proof and it will be very noisy at night due to the pub musci, especially during weekend.
Awesome stay. Weekend special is well worth it with breakfast wine and late checkout. Tip.... Ask mantra to mail parking token ($25 per day) in advance, park at Raine square underground parking then walk to mantra
stay was great, relaxing and surprisingly quiet”
Stay was quite good, although I have one complaint about the airconditioning. Its surprisingly noisy and would go from quiet to really noisy during the middle of the night.it actually woke me up, wasn't very pleased with that. Tv was also a bit smaller than I would have liked, but definitely bearable. Other than that, it was a relatively nice stay with comfortable beds and a well equipped kitchen with dishwasher.
Great location, nice staff, good size room,”
We enjoyed our stay at the hotel and the minibar provisions were comprehsive. Fridge, kettle and two hob stove. More than enough considering the distance to so many dining options. Fantastic location 2 minute walk from the main Perth train station and 10-15 minute walk to Northbridge the evening entertainment area. Staff were friendly and we accidentally got the buffet breakfast included, which was nice. Bit of a noisy bar opposite our window but this turned the music off at 1am. Aircon was effective and quiet enough. Shower over bath and decent size bathroom. All in all a good stay if you get a good deal.
Ideal location ”
Right in the city, stone throw to restaurants around. Parking is next block away, instructions for guests to park their rental car to drop off luggage was not clear. Good for a short 1 night stay and go.
Inappropriate charged for an item from minibar”
Found out an inappropriate charged for an item from minibar that was not consumed by me during my stay after I came back home and checked for the credit card statement. Immediately sent e-mail to Mantra Hotel to clarify and got refund eventually but the attitude was really bad (they think that this is my problem and not their fault). NEVER return when I go to Perth next time and for anyone who is planning to stay at Mantra, please check the minibar immediately once you entre the hotel room and tell the reception if there is any missing item.
