Exceptional”
it's a very nice YHA hostel. The apartment came with a private kitchen that has everything you need. Room was spacious and clean. Staff at the counter was super chatty and nice! They have a phone that you can book a cab to the station in the hostel which i find convenience.

Good location and value for money”
Pros: The location is excellent and very convenient for public transport access. Walking to Queen Victoria Market is less than 5 minutes with lots of choices for food. The staff is very friendly, the kitchen is big and cleaned at least twice a day. The big dining room is good for socialising with fellow travellers, the lounge and the rooftop are also good for that purpose. There is a restriction of 14 days maximum, any booking longer than that will need the manager's approval. Cons: The room only has a wall fan and it can be stuffy when you stay inside the room. The shower water temperature fluctuates a bit during the shower, which is not a problem in summer, but it may be a problem in winter. There is only one set of power point/GPO in the room near the table, you cannot charge your devices near your bed or inside the lockers.

It's a bit far away from the CBD but it does the trick. The rooms are clean, location is good, there's tram stop nearby, or a short stroll to the city/market. Facilities were great, the kitchen was functional. The roof top was spacious with great view of the city. The movies on movie nights were great. The only downside is the shower, they were always clean and paddles do built up outside shower so always need to look for a dry one to use. Other than that, it's a great place to chill away from the city but still in the periphery and to meet people around the world who admire the beauty of Austrlaia!

Stayed in a 4 bed room ladies room for 5 nights, really clean and enjoy my stay. I like the personal light that each bed has been installed with so that we don't disturb other occupants who need to sleep. A distance to the showers and toilets but great affordable pricing.

Best hostel during my stay in melbourne”
I spent 1week in 3 different hostels but this one i loved the most. Though its far from major tourist spots in the city center, it is still near the free tram zone. I loved how the staff accomodated my requests. They also have coin operated luggage box if you want to leave your stuffs but im not sure how long its allowed as i have used it just for a day.

Reasonably priced accomodation north of Melbourne CBD, close to QVM”
Good place with clean room for overnight travelling with 2 teenagers. Definitely a good stay. About 5-10 mins walk from tram stop. Will be great if they have hot water dispenser in the dining area for coffee/tea making.

It is a really nice hostel with good facilities that offer a great kitchen and an amazing rooftop where you can enjoy a drink or two with friends. The people here are also nice and it was no problem when we wanted to extend our stay. Not a long walk down to the main areas in the city either. Would definitely recommend it and come back in the future!

I booked three nights in this hostel at last minute, the room was clean and spacious enough for 4 people. The kitchen downstairs was huge and there was always enough space for everyone. Beds were comfortable and I would definitely stay here again.

Good place, really clean , strategic location , easy access to public transport, easy to find a food and restaurant to eat. need aircon on summer, but overall really good and will be back to this pplace again when I come to Melbourne.

Yeah the staff were nice,. But you Cant check-in until after 2pm and have to be out by 10 am. Some of us aren't backpackers so we have nowhere to go until 2 pm. You have to have money to deposit for a bowl and cup. Towel etc. It's clean enough, but if you put money in their vending machines ,like as you need tampons , it does not give you your money back or your pro

Everyday have event and can meet new friend. Besides, you can cook. The location is far from the Main train station. Free tram is nearer but also need to walk some distance.
