The bed is clean and comfortable. They have many toilets and bathrooms that I never have to wait for shower. The common area is big and relaxing.

Amazing social area and good location ”
The hostel promotes many interactive activities. In addition to offering the sightseeing tour of the city, Every night has a different activity in the bar and social area. A suggestion would be to put shower caddy in the bathroom to be better.

Good location”
Stayed on a 6-bed all female dormitory with our own toilet and shower inside which are cleaned daily. Location is also very good, a good walk from Southern Cross station for the airport bus and pretty much everywhere, just one block away from the Queen Victoria Winter Night Market. Didn't purchase any transportation card as we went around Melbourne CBD. Hostel is also the pickup location of the tours we booked.

Exactly what a backpackers should be. Cheap, good location and good atmosphere at the downstairs bar. Toilet and showers could be updated with new fixtures and cleaned more regularly but otherwise not too bad

Good price and clean”
The price was good, the hostel is around the corner from the main market place. The room was clean and staff friendly and helpful. The room had some painting flaking off around the window which is nothing but can do with a repaint. The kitchen is small and can be very cramped. Otherwise a decent place to stay

Too good for a backpackers hostel”
Never been to any backpacker hostel before. But I guest this one is very exceptional. With ironing facilities (inside the room), towel n toiletries provided, free pancake, spacious room with inhouse bathroom, what else do you expecting?

Cost performance is good hostel ”
Good location and friendly staffs The room and bathroom are not always perfect, but staffs are always friendly and kindness. Also guests are nice people and there’s bar and dining area, so easy to make friend even my English is not good.

There is a Big bar on the ground floor ,It is easy to catch up the drink .the Kitchen is a little bit small and dirty .sometimes The password is not Working.Haha...But everything is good .

In general the facility was okay. clean room and washrooms. Unfortunately after checking out I got my backpack stolen from the luggage room. there is a lock but staffs really don’t check when someone ask for the access to the luggage room. (Not just this hostel many hostels in Melb works like that)

The online check-in via the app didn't work properly, as I couldn't enter the room via PIN code, still I was provided a card. The room is small for 10 people but that's what you get for a budget central option. The common areas are pretty cool in general: there are enough toilets and nice hot showers, decently clean; there's a rooftop, from which you can chill out and see a nice sunset; nice bar with cheap drinks and free pancakes for breakfast (8-10am). Every day at 10.30am you can join a free tour around the city that leaves from the same hostel. The only thing I didn't like was the kitchen, it's literally a 2m x 2m space where hundreds of guests try to chuck all their stuff and cook at the same time.

Poorly run with lots of roadblocks ”
I’m really frustrated that I emailed this hostel ahead of time to make sure their internet is working fine and I was assured it was and it’s not. I have spent the better part of an hour trying to get online so I can call home to no avail. The WiFi password changes daily so even if you’re going to use it in the common area you’ll need to head down the elevator and ask the new code. Why would you do this to your guests? The key codes for elevator and rooms can be pretty annoying as well. You’ll need a key code to even go down to ground level. The code is changed every Monday so plan on getting stuck on the elevator until someone on the ground floor hits the button. The location is ideal (right next to Victoria Market) The staff I checked in with was great. He was extremely nice and accommodating. My room had old gum and graffiti on the wall. Dealing with these other issues is not worth it for me however. I wouldn’t stay here again

Hi Michael! We apologise about the WiFi and its connection, that is a fix that we tried to work on and get right. The codes are for you and the other guests safety, to make sure only staying guests are heading up to the dorm rooms. Great to hear you enjoyed the location and the staff!
