Best Hotel in melbourne. ”
Quaywest is one of the hotel in melbourne that i love to stay. This hotel is very well maintain and the rooms are looking great (look much more well maintain and newer than most hotels in melbourne). Most other hotels in melbourne are looking old inside the rooms even the 5stars hotels
Thank you for the review , it is appreciated.
Fantastic Hotel”
This hotel is fantastic. It is located on Southbank and is walking distance to everywhere. The room has everything you need including a kitchen basin, a microwave, a nespresso machine, and a bar fridge. The staff at the hotel are lovely and accommodating. I was thoroughly impressed by their warm and helpful customer service. I will definitely be back. Two thumbs up!
Perfect location to explore the best of Melbourne”
Love it truly due to its location just nearby the Flinders train station and near to Yarra River. The rooms are very spacious and the security is well ensured. Must thank the staff in offering free wifi access for me in the 2 night stay during Easter. They are all helpful and pleasant.
Perfect location for ballet at State Theatre”
Really enjoyed our first stay there & happy it was within a short walk of the State Theatre for my elderly mother & I. Aircon in one of our adjoining rooms didn't work (our fault we didn't report it until checkout) but disappointed that cafe/bar/restaurant all closed after the show so no after-show coffee & dessert available.
Great apartment hotel at Southbank”
We had a lovely stay at the Quay West. The staff were friendly and helpful. The size of the room was big with a kitchen, lounge room, good size bathroom, big balcony, and a good sized bedroom. The location was great right next to the Yarra river and many restaurants.
Walking distance to city great for meetings. ”
We Always stay at the Quay West Southbank, great for business meetings close to cafes and restaurants. Valet service very prompt. Staff very efficient very polite and helpful. Recommend it. Waliking distance to casino and the city. Views to the Yarra River
lovely hotel with great location”
I required a river view room but the staff said that is not available for bookings through agent. but besides this, everything in the hotel looks fine, the staff the pools the gym and the rooms are nice. it is close to lots of restaurants. the walking to the casino and business district might be a bit long but still acceptable.

great fruit choice for breakfast
Thank you for the review, we are pleased you enjoyed breakfast.
Renovations”
The floor that we were staying on was being renovated and, the carpet was stuck down with masking tape. We had to be careful when coming in and out of the room not to trip over the lose ends of the carpet. Not very good.
Thank you for the review, I am sorry that you had to be careful with the carpet. I will personally follow up, thank you for letting us know.
satisfactory stay”
accommodation is slightly on the pricey side. decent view and location. just a few minutes walk away from flinders. 3 room apartment on the 19th floor is large and spacious. provides good amenities. comfortable stay overall. will recommend for families or groups with a budget to spare.
Thank you for the review, we are pleased you enjoyed your stay .
Fantastic Stay”
My 4 year old son and i stayed in a 1 bed apartment for 5 nights. Check in went quickly and our bags were waiting for us in the room. The apartment was exceptionally clean and spacious. The staff were very helpful, no task or amount of queries were a problem and were answered or sorted almost instantly even though it was a full house. The location is perfect. can walk to most things and just a stroll to the free tram lines at federation square.restaurants (and a food court) are plentiful within metres of the hotel.Highly recommend.
Great location and service”
Wonderful central location - The hotel is centrally located to all the sights, shopping and activities we had planned for a weekend away. The friendly staff ensured our stay was enjoyable and memorable which was a pleasure as we were travelling with a toddler. The rooms were immaculate and clean. Great stay for families and business travellers.
very well appointed and well looked after by staff”
Excellent , great value for money hotel. Very attentive staff. i was ill during the stay and was able to get to a medical centre next door (which should be advertised by hotel) room, was well set out and was a great size and had all the mod cons. the pool, spa and gym were excellent. i did not eat at hotel so i could not comment
fantastic stay”
we had a 1 bedroom suite and it was fantastic. the staff were very friendly. would definately stay there again and highly recommend it. location is fantastic and we could just walk everywhere from there.
very relaxing, comfortable, convenient, ”
Most enjoyable, we were delighted with the service that we were given on arrival and other times; The suit more than met our expectations, not palatial but very very comfortable with great views. In-room wifi was no charge, room service was very quick, airport transport was provided.
Easy, comfortable and welcoming. ”
Perfect. Very quiet private time there. Gym was good. Staff very friendly and welcoming. Room service meal, barramundi wasn't that good, very oily and not crisp but I made allowances cos it has to come up lift and may get soggy in that time. Flavour not that nice either. Would be hesitant to order room service next time.
Excellent service staffs including housekeeping”
Value for money with a large self contained unit although shower room and shower door too small for large persons. Excellent and caring staffs who search for a taxi for me to go to the airport when no taxi could be called. Dedicated housekeeping who did an excellent job but declined the tip i left behind - only found similar experiences in Japan where tipping is not common. In summary: outstanding staffs. If they enlarged the shower and its door, i would give them the highest mark
It was a very enjoyable”
Me and my girlfriend had a wonderful night, such a great staff members made our stay enjoyable with complimentary wine and were very useful for activity tips. The pool room was so well designed and looked amazing, great for a morning swim.
It was a great stay! Super helpful staff!”
We were very happy about our stay at Quay West. Very good location; right next to a food court, so it was very easy to grab a morning coffee or some quick breakfast. Only a 5 min walk from fed square. The room is very spacious with a comfortable balcony. Very attentive and friendly staff. We left behind a travel bag in the room; and the staff offered to ship it back to us for free even though we were willing to pay for the postage.
High scores on all fronts”
We had a great 3 night stay. 2 points straight off the bat : they upgraded us from a studio unit to deluxe on arrival, and had the room ready for us at 11 am, way ahead of their 3 pm check in time. A double bonus since we had our 4 year old travelling with us, who was tired from being up at dawn to catch a flight. Location was fabulous -- right on the Southbank promenade with two bridges immediately adjacent. The first to Fed Square, the other directly to Flinders Station and the trams. The unit was beautifully appointed, with coffee and tea making facilities and a nice fridge. And it came complete not just with crockery and cutlery, but also lined bins, fresh tea towels and dishwash soap. TV's in both the living and bedroom so we could watch what we wanted while our son had his share of cartoons. A nice little balcony overlooking the square with spectacular views of the the Eureka. Bathhroom was spacious with both a shower and a bath, and three sets of towels, so we didn't have to ask for extras. There was a great food court right next door, with not a single fast food joint in sight, so our son had some excellent meal options on hand through the day. And lots of little restaurants and wine bars all down the stretch. We took a riverboat tour from the pier just in front of the hotel, which was a perfect way to spend the afternoon. And spent one afternoon walking down the riverbank to the Alexandra Gardens and the Royal Botanical Gardens, and another across the bridge to the Binnarung Marr park, which had a lovely playground for kids. Staff were friendly but discreet and very thoughtful, offering us newspapers and Melbourne maps upon arrival. Some friends came by to visit, and the staff were kind enough to arrange parking (for free) right in front of the hotel so they could come up to the unit for a short visit. Only drawback was nightly parking charge for our rental -- a whopping AUS 30 per night! Definitely going back, without
