Couldn't have stayed at a better hotel. Staff gave us a lot of freebies and we're so kind and friendly! Excellent customer service. Next time we're in Queensland we know where we're staying!

My partner and I booked a 1 bedroom apartment with ocean view for our 2 year anniversary and it was the best decision we've ever made. The view from our room on the 35th floor was just spectacular but it gets better, we watched the sunset from the hotel rooftop and it was one of the prettiest views we've ever seen. Room was clean, amenities were outstanding. The hotel itself is strategically located, only a couple of stops away from the main strip. There is a G:link (light rail) stop right across the hotel. Our stay at Rhapsody Resort was probably one of the main highlights of our trip and we will definitely come back here again next time we visit the Gold Coast!

Pros- the hotel is beautiful, staff very professional, breakfast I paid extra-completely worth it every morning (most selections ever had for breakfast buffet, delicious), best room ever booked-bathroom very spacious, new/modern. Giant standing shower, large mirror, large tub. The room-spacious and modern-had very large windows that took up whole wall, great view. The cleaning staff-always very nice to us! Receptionist as well, except maybe two people. I had to try hard to make some of them even crack a smile or be personal. Pool-modern. Cons- the pool was small. No hot tub/jacuzzi. Very small gym, no weights, only cardio equipment. ** I booked/paid same time/price as my friend. Her room had more in it (i.e. Bathtub, bed larger, etc), when asked, staff didnt seem to have real answer. Room change-I was charged an extra $25/night without being informed. They only said $25 that night for room change. They almost tried charging extra for my friend too. Be aware of this.**

Best hotel ever in Gold coast! If you are looking for a place to stay in to make your trip memorable, look no further! I will definitely be back here if I go back to Gold coast! The famous surfer's Paradise beach is just at the doorstep, Beautiful view from our balcony. We love this place so much we are considering buying an apartment here! Shopping ( that closes late) is available just below the hotel! We had dinner at Soul Seduction in the hotel & it was one of our best meal! Staffs were friendly & helpful. I couldn't check in early thus left our perishable food with the staff & they were in my room's fridge when I came back from shopping! Hassle free! Room was up class & the best in our entire Gold coast trip. Huge, clean room. Equipments were all working well & their drawers was all "slam-free" type. (I think they call it hydraulic drawers?) We watched the sunrise with no obstruction at all. Totally worth every penny staying here!! Highly recommend anyone/everyone to stay here!

One of the best hotels I've been to so far. I felt like I've underpaid for the service I received. The staff was friendly and even helped me to find the way to some of the locations that I wanted to visit. The hotel is also very close to the beach and Surfers Paradise. Getting to Warner Bros Movie World albeit far but no hassle at all even with public transport. The room was super spacious and I was WOW-ed with the view my room had. I stood there for about 5 minutes just WOW-ing myself even though I was in a rush. I didn't had breakfast or dine in the hotel so I can't comment on that. The swimming pool though doesn't compliment their 4-star status. Looked more like 2-star. But I don't think it's that of a big problem because you can swim in the beautiful sea, why would you swim at the pool haha. And they also had a heated pool and it was great because I went during winter. Overall a very satisfied stay. Will definitely return to this hotel if I ever come back.

Fantastic. We choose facing the beach. It was marvelous. Stayed at 38 floor very windy during day & night with spectacular scenery. With 3 bedrooms, 3 balcony it was really spacious. The kitchen and table top was beautiful equipped with dining utensils. They provide washing machine with dryer (100% dried) make our day feel at home. Supermarket, halal kebab & grill chicken sold downstairs. Shopping/souvenirs and beach just nearby. Really enjoyed don't feel going back home. The hotel more to condo apartment, swimming pool beautiful with sandy make it looked like a beach. We had a great time family bonding, not enough for 6 days nights. So far this is the best hotel we ever had although without breakfast provided.

Stayed at the Woodroffe as it was local to an event we were attending. Great location, close to Australia Fair shopping centre, Southport RSL and Queensland light rail which takes you directly into Surfers. Modern room with comfy bed and large bathroom

The hotel is located right at the heart of Surfers Paradise, so you will find it very easy and convenient to walk around the area. There are a lot of restaurants, cafes, shops, supermarkets, pharmacies within the area. The G:link tram station is just 4 minutes walk from the hotel, and the beach is just 7 minutes walk. The view from my room overlooked the ocean, and it was breathtaking. The pantry and bathroom areas were clean and comfy. But the furniture in the bedroom and the living room, as well as the carpet, were a bit worn and old. The hotel gave two different access cards for the lift and for the room. It's a bit inconvenient. It would be great if they can just combine the system and use a single card to access both the lift and the room. The laundry area was a bit concealed. I searched around the room for the laundry area and I almost thought that the room was not equipped with the laundry facility until I found it hidden behind a door near the walk-in closet area. The staffs were friendly and helpful. Special thanks to the cheerful front desk staff, Caitlyn, who provided great assistance for extending my stay and booking the airport transfer.

I went for a week long stay for the great barrier reef and could not be happier with the experience. Easily the best value for the price in a great location, just outside of the noise of the central areas but a 5 minute walk and you;re in the thick of things. The staff were fantastic at setting up my reef dives and the rooms were spacious, clean and had everything I could ask for. The stove, microwave and mini fridge combo really help you save on food. I am definitely staying here next time I come.

I am 75 years old and have just returned from a wonderful few days at the Beachcomber Surfers Paradise with my 8 year old great-grandson. We were amazed at how spacious the apartment was. We just loved it. We had a twin bedroom, a large bathroom (a bath as well as shower and toilet), washing machine and dryer, big kitchen with full-size refrigerator, stove and microwave, loads of cupboard space and kitchen utensils. The combined lounge/ dining room gave magnificent views (we were on the 21st floor), as did our large balcony which had another table and chairs. The Beachcomber is in an ideal position ... just minutes from everything in Surfers Paradise and a bus ride away from Seaworld (our Tuesday destination) and Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary (our Wednesday outing). I was fortunate enough to have booked early for this school-holiday period and to have obtained a 30% discount. The total for three nights was $228.90 ... just amazing. If you want to be pampered and have your beds made and towels changed every day, this may not be for you. However, we just wanted somewhere clean and comfortable and that is what we got. Thank you to the staff I dealt with, all of whom were pleasant, friendly and helpful. I would have no hesitation in returning to the Beachcomber should I be looking for Gold Coast accommodation in the future, and I would be happy to recommend it to anyone who will listen. Eight year old James says, "Tell them it was AWESOME!" "Tell them it was AWESOME!!!"

I have stayed in this hotel multiple times. The room I’ve got recently is the best so far. I’ve got a very nice view. But, I still have issue when they charge me A$200 when I checked out. Even they reversed it, due to different conversion rate, I ended up being charged with the difference. It’s not huge money but it is still a waste of money on my part. I hope they can fix their process / system.

I definitely recommend Palm Royale Cairns Resort! They have the best customer service I've experienced (and I've travelled a bit)! Prior to the trip, a family member became quite seriously ill and as a result, I had to forfeit my flight and only enjoyed 2 out of the 4 day's planned. However, much to my surprise, when I rang to ensure my final 2 night's accom. were still available, one of the hotel staff kindly offered not to incur any charges for cancelling the first two night's and even refunded the money, via Agoda, for the first two night's. I was able to enjoy two nights at the resort and was delightfully surprised at the standard of their pool view rooms - they were clean, comfortable and probably at a 4-star standard. one of the hotel staff was always helpful and went over and above to assist us with our enquiries. Overall, Palm Royale provided a great start to a lovely break in Cairns. Thanks to all the staff there!

The hotel is in a fantastic location, 2 minutes from the tram and 2 minutes from the beach. The rooms are however old and dated, even in the King ocean rooms you have the old style shower in the bath... The doors are getting tired and scraped so need to be fixed. The car park is a walk away up several flights of stairs as there is no lift and the escalators are completely broken, and looks like they have been for some time. The breakfast is some what of a rip off... you pay for breakfast as a premium on your room rate of circa $30 or so, however it is the buffet breakfast of a 3 star hotel. If you want a fresh coffee.. an extra $5. If you want an omelette.. an extra $5 so you could easily be up for a $40 omelette breakfast or more each.. The breakfast buffet was very poor and light, lukewarm at best with tinned fruit. Oily bacon, solid fried eggs and beans that seemed to be made up of the last couple of days leftovers.. even had carrots in them. Might not go back there.

OK....it's nothing flash and the rooms are small. But we needed an overnighter for a function in Fortitude Valley and Snooze Inn was perfect! Staff are super friendly and helpful. Kitchen facilities good although we didn't have time to use them. Clean and comfortable and walking distance to everything in the Valley. The 24-hour secure parking complex in the backstreet was a bargain at $18....don't forget to book through the Snooze Inn! Hint: if wanting a sleep in, ask to be on the side away from the next-door school! We will definitely stay again.

We rediscovered Brisbane, walking the residential streets of Fortitude Valley and New Farm, a great show at The Triffid, fun start to evening at Mrs Browns bar, Sunday coffee and breakfast at The Dalfour, then a fun walk along the river bank with live bands, great bars finishing up at Madame Wu for a stunning Sunday lunch. The best 24 hours fun I have had for ages - all done by easy walk from Alex Perry Hotel. Oh I forgot sunset champagne on the rooftop pool area!!!

Admittedly I got a cheap rate through an online hotel booking company, however was only informed of inoperable swimming pool by notice in room. The deal included free parking which was a good bonus. The A/C was terribly noisy on level 4 which resulted in a very restless nights sleep. Disappointing. The hotel and room itself is very upmarket and furnished with the latest trends. A stay at another new hotel the previous night ranked better and with views of the river, not so with my room in Capri. Average experience overall. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Rate of my stay 3 1/2 out of 5.

The staffs at Jack & Newell Luxury Apartments are the BEST, i have been emailing them one month prior my booking's date to confirm on making reservations for the activities in Cairns. He has been super helpful and patience with all my questions and endless changes to the dates and activities. Since my flight arrived mid day on the first day, most activities would not be available for me to join, however the hotel staff were super helpful and helped us arranged a charter boat for half day fishing which could start later than usual.The hotel has also made the effort to contact me prior my departure date to confirm with me whether i needed a transfer. Jack & Newell Luxury Apartments also tried his best to accomondate our needs when we first checked in, since unfortunately 3 out of 5 people dropped out the trip last minute, he was being extremely helpful and made out stay much more enjoyable. I am also extremely grateful that he would do the extra mile on helping me mail one of my parcels back home, since i did not have time to do it myself. We lived in a three bed room apartment, it is gorgeous with the best view looking towards the ocean. The living is well furnitured and modern, each room is clean and well furntiured as well. The apartment has its own laundry room, kitchen and balcony. Jack & Newell Luxury Apartments is great and the staff made the stay perfect.

Overall it was a great place to stay the only problem I had there was that is was very busy with people coming and going at all hours and there should be a sign stating please consider other guests as they weren't quiet and yelled out in different languages at each other across the court yard or down the hall way and woke people up. And being on holidays I thought it wasn't pleasant being woken up at 4-4.30am with other guest trying to get ready to leave. Other then that it was a great place to stay.

We booked for 5 days, in our fourth day we came back to our room after lunch, our bed still not fix I called the reception to clean our room, housekeeping came they just make the bed, they didn’t changed the linen at all, I can feel the bed sheet hasn’t been changed since we arrived,I didn’t say anything, on the fifth day, we left early and came back after lunch, our bed still not made,after 10 min housekeeping came they’re just only make the bed, I’ve asked them how often do you changed the bed sheet,he asked me if I requested for linen changed, I’ve told him why do I need to request, this is a 4.5 Star Hotel, I’m expected they changed the beddings everyday especially the bottom sheet ,then that’s the time they changed the beddings, staff in the reception they’re very helpful,breakfast is ok.

The apartment is very clean and prepare everything. ( Kitchenware, detergent....everything you need!) The location is really good that you can visit south bank park, Queensland Museum by foot! Kids love the apartment as well!

Green island resort was the highlight of my trip. It looks expensive by book, but so many services on the island is included in the price. if you book a day trip alone, the trip could cost nearly 100 AUD per person. There is so much to do on this island, the beach itself is pristine. During the day, there were boat load of tourists coming, but as soon as the last ferry left, the island is left to the hotel guests. You keep the entire island to yourself.. walking on the beach just by yourself on the amazing sunset is a rare experience. Night safari is also fun! The foods are great on the Emerald restaurant. We ordered some sea food, the tiger prawn tempura is incredible. some of the biggest prawn I ever seen. But the mains were disappointing as the fish comes with fruity salty sauce, It hide the taste of the fish. The chef obviously made effort,.I wish it were simply pan fried. Rachel(food) and Silvia(reception) delivered amazing service to us. 4.5/5 to my experience

We received a very good deal so the value was amazing. This was Cairns first 4 star hotel,so it is older than others,but lots of character.Everything was very comfortable and relaxing.We arrived on a very early flight, very tired,and the staff did their best to have a room ready for us as soon as possible.I especially loved the large bathroom,and the sun streaming into the bedroom in the morning.One could easily walk anywhere in the CBD from there.

Our room on the second floor was clean, quiet and well appointed. The staff were friendly and the breakfast was great. Unfortunately the window (very large and double glazed) was very dirty presumably from all the construction work going on around the airport which made it unpleasant to look out through. Getting to the Hotel from the International Terminal using the free Airpark shuttle bus late at night is a bit of a mission, you have to walk so far from the drop off point, and I suggest using an Uber. We’ve found the taxi drivers get very grumpy when asked to go anything less than 5kms from the airport. We booked a high level unit through Agoda but when we got to the Hotel they put us in a 1st floor unit. After some discussion we were allocated a 2nd floor unit. As it is a 9 floor complex I wouldn’t call the 2nd floor a “high level floor”. There might be a problem booking this place through Agoda.

The room was beautiful, amazing view, very tidy... only downfall was the room had a lot of marks on the walls, stained and dirty curtains and the couches looked dirty. Some of the lights weren't working, the bathroom light flickered on and off and the dryer only sometimes worked. I thought it would be a bit cleaner considering there was a notice on the fridge stating how the appartment has to be left.. and what the penalties were if anything was left behind or not cleaned properly. I figured these things should have been cleaned and delt with.

this is the best hotel i had during the time in Australia. Everything just perfect!-great location, great rooms, close to everywhere. five mins walk to the port, 10 mins to the railway station, 3 mins to the night market, 2 mins to the pool (a big man made sand pool by the sea, only 0.8-1.5m depth, my daughter had lots of fun there)and 5 mins walk to woolworths, a big supermarket. the room itself just like your home-one living room, one bedroom, an open kitchen.

The apartment was clean, spacious and had everything needed for a pleasant stay. The kitchen is fully equipped with a full size fridge, full oven and stovetop. Also a kettle and toaster as well as electric frypan. There was an ironing board with a brand new iron, hairdryer. A balcony that overlooked the pool. There was a full bbq area also a spa. The staff were wonderful. The room it self has a separate bedroom with a queen size bed. The living area has a double/single bunk bed. The lounges also had a sofa bed. The apartments are within a 5 minute walk to Cavill Ave there are a number of shops and restaurants around the area. Its a quiet complex even though its close to the action and nightlife. The beach is about 200m walk. Would definately recommend Trickett Gardens Holiday Inn as one of the best places I've stayed at in the Gold Coast.

Booked two Studio Suite Twin rooms. The rooms were very large and new, with all amenities just like a studio including cook top and fridge. The hotel is in an old building but it has been completely renovated so it look very new. It has very large lap swimming pool and large gym with all equipment. It locates in very quite area and walking distance (10 to 15 mins ) to CBD, river walk, and the Valley (for nightlife). Reception were very friendly and helpful. I tried this hotel out of curiosity as I haven't stayed at any hotel of Art Series before, only with Mantra hotels and apartments mainly booked by company for business trip. We are very happy with the stay and would come back again either for holiday trip or business trip. There should be complementary water bottles per day. Many other hotels provide that. However, T2 tea and good coffee are provided in the room

the location of this apartment complex is ideal for QPAC, South Bank markets, the Brisbane Wheel, Queensland Museum. Easy to walk around the area and enjoy the space.

This hotel is great value. Right in the heart of Surfers without being among the riff-raff of Cavill Ave. The decor is quirky and funky. The bed was super soft and very comfortable. The lighting in the room was a bit annoying - too dark. No lights over the full length mirror and not enough lighting in the bathroom. Would be nice to have a price list of the spa etc. in the book, rather than having to call each centre. Mini bar was the best stocked we have seen in a long time. Check in and out was very quick and easy, despite the business of the hotel. Staff were friendly and easy to deal with. We ate at Stingray, which was mediocre for the prices they were charging. Beers on tap were flat. Highly recommend paying for the undercover parking. They accommodated a 1pm late check out without charging an extra fee. Overall, highly recommend this hotel, thought I think it's more of a 4 star to 4 and a half star hotel.

Where to begin, We booked a king relaxation room with an ocean view through agdoa.com to enjoy a little/mini honeymoon away. Upon check it we found out that this wasn't the case. There seem to be a mis-communication between Hilton and Agdoa. All our booking confirmation stated king relaxation room however Hilton received the booking as a basic room. The duty manager at the time came out and greeted up and apologized for the mix up. However due to the popularity of this hotel, there were no rooms available besides what the basic room that was placed under our original booking. The options/compensation that were originally given was a free 60 min massage in the spa for both my wife and myself. however we felt like this was not a suitable compensation. We were quite disappointed with this proposal as we paid for a king relaxation and we were going to be given the most basic room and a massage to make things right. We did not book the Hilton for the spa facilitates, we booked this hotel for the prime location, service and breath taking ocean views. The duty manager did her best and provided another 2 options, a 2 bed room apartment with a city view or a deluxe room with part view of the ocean. However again we felt like this was not an adequate compensation. With the deluxe room with partial ocean view, we were essentially over paying for this room. Again the main reason was for the ocean views. We mention this to the duty manager and she provided some compensation in regards to a refund of the difference between the two room. We weren't too happy about this as this was meant to be a romantic weekend away. After discussing with the manager, we agreed that we would stay in the deluxe room and in addition we would be returning the following weekend to stay at the Hilton in a king relaxation room. With regards to the hotel itself, it is an amazing place with the stunning executive lounge, the fantastic breakfast buffet, great employees. We look forward to another amazing
