Clean, modern and good value for money”

Great location if you want park on St Kilda Road. Lots of offices around there but not much else in terms of touristy things to do. 15-20 minute tram ride into city central which is where everything is. Hotel was clean and modern overall. Gym looked good but did not have time to use it. Some staff very friendly, and other staff not friendly at all. Some staff forgot to give back drivers license and did not give receipt for bond upon checking in. House keeping did not make bed properly and forgot to replace tea/coffee condiments and forgot to change towels. Also there was no hair dryer which was surprising as we had a deluxe double room with all the other amenities? Overall would stay again and would recommend to others. Was very pleased with some aspects but disappointed with other aspects that were an easy opportunity for them to fix. Maybe just bring a hair dryer

the location is good as it's near a tram station. However, my room was out of electricity maybe due to short circuit for some electrical appliances. and somehow there was a cockroach in my room but my room still feels clean though.

It doesn't hurt that much too smile”

Good location and decent space however the $100 deposit on card that took a week to be returned is annoying plus some of the front office desk folks (the young lady at check in ) could learn to smile and be a bit more customer focused.

2h ticket street parking from 8am to 6pm, free outside this period of time, free street parking on public holidays, $15/day onsite parking. Good value for money for couple/family/group travelling with a car. Not far from the CBD, 15mins by tram. Tram stop right in front of the hotel. St Kilda beach close by with good restaurants.

Good location. Tram Stop right outside the hotel with all trams to the city. Very clean room and bathroom. Plenty of power points in the room. Air-condition was noisy. TV worked intermittently. Overall, reasonably good hotel. Would stay again.

Good loction with tram stop no 26 right outside. Our Basic small room had a kitchenette - decent sized fridge, plenty of cupboards, drawers but only has two spoons & 2 coffee mugs. We were especially surprised as the girl at the desk had pointed out to us a nearby convenience store - fortunately we ran out of time to go to the store and didn't buy any snacks/food/fruit but when we did return to our room and opened every cupboard & drawer, to find there was not one plate, bowl, knife???

Great cozy hotel in a nice suburb”

This hotel has a nice colonial look but the amenities are modern, clean and well maintained with friendly staff. It is a nice walk to the heart of Melbourne with many easy transportation choices as well as to some of Melbourne's best drinking holes and F&B locations by the beach. Do enjoy your time here. I know I did!

Just nice but not centrally located”

Neat and clean.
Location a bit off from city centre

An appropriate size room for 1-2 person stay in standard room. Bathroom, bedsheet and all amenities are neat and clean. The hotel entrance is a very nicely renovation of an old house. Staffs are responsive and efficient. The only cons is the location that is a bit off from city centre, so there's nothing much around the hotel.

Worst hotel service. Don't come.”

The staff in this hotel provided no service, nothing at all. My business partner experienced that the glass shelf fell off when he was trying to take the soap that was stuck on it. It was terribly scary. Luckily he didn't get hurt. But what he got offered was to relocate to another room because there was nobody to clean it. The next day he was asked to relocate again to another room. When I heard about it the next day, I talked to the reception and the girl there told me she was a trainee. I asked the manager to give my business parter some compensation but the manager just looked at me smiling like we were there talking to him just for money. He insisted that there wasn't any injury and it wasn't their fault, it was just like a breakdown of the lift. Isn't the glass shelf meant to be fixed? What if the broken glass hurt people? When he first arrived in the hotel and asked where was St Kilda Rd, the reception girl also said she was a trainee?? Get your staff trained better pls.

Acceptable”

The stay was pleasant until we had an extremely rude member of house keeping burst into room at 10.30AM, 30 minutes BEFORE our check out time. The tall man knocked once and before we could even get up from the seat, he rushed into the room. I asked him what the matter was and his response was 'CHECK OUT'. I then told him check out is at 11.00AM. He then rudely looked at me and said OK and stormed out. We then packed our belongings and proceeded to check out before our scheduled check out time. I would not recommend this property and I honestly could not think about staying here again. A very unpleasant end to our Christmas holiday stay! I would recommend for people looking for a property to stay at to look elsewhere.

Quite good value for this area!”

It might be worth noting that the kitchenette has a kettle and tea/coffee making supplies. However, no microwave. There was no iron & ironing board either in the room or in the 1st floor laundry. But, reception could arrange it when asked. No toilet brush in the quite nice bathroom. I was travelling alone so the room with double bed was fine for my purposes but might be a little small for 2 people for an extended period.
