“Memorable stay in KK”
We had a memorable and nice stay at Shangri-La. The lobby was spacious, scenic, and feels luxurious. Check-in queue took some times, and the staff wasn’t as welcoming, there were only 2 staffs initially for check-in and check-out, only after a while more staffs started to come in, but good thing that they served us and the other guests complimentary iced peach tea while waiting. We had the Tanjung Terrace Sea View Room, it was very spacious, luxurious, and comfortable. I like all the amenities offered, they also provided us free canned drinks, high quality tea bags, and delicious coffee capsules, the bathroom amenities smells nice and luxurious. I like the layout of the room and the terrace lead us directly to the garden area with beautiful scenery to enjoy sunset. However, I dont really like the layout of the bathroom, quite cramped, especially that the drain in the shower is very slow, so the water from the shower area got into the main area and got the whole bathroom wet. I also got an allergy reaction upon entering the room, so I ended up with runny nose and sneezing the whole day, but thank god the symptoms cleared up after taking medication, because of this, I assumed the room is dusty and wasn’t properly cleaned. Breakfast experience was amazing, and kudos to all the staffs at Ta-Tu, they are very welcoming and friendly, the food spread is great, taste is just okay, they have cutlery for kids which is nice, so far we really enjoyed the breakfast. We also enjoyed our night stroll here, the scenery is breathtaking and very highly recommended especially for couples. The pool is also nice and they have pools for kids which is considerate. Overall, I would highly suggest this hotel if youre coming to KK
