Somerset on Elizabeth is located in the city and it is very convenient to catch a tram or train. There are many eateries around for us to choose. I am happy to learn that there is daily housekeeping available, which we can’t find in other apartments. The only down side is the difficulty in finding a parking lot outside Somerset to unload the luggages.

You need to provide something and you may get the great satisfation from guest, such as: - Chopsticks (esp. for Asian) - Need to provide rice cooker with the good quality , the current is not good at all - dry machine for clothes (after washing) I will be back and recommend for friends & partners Ha Nguyen

Great location and super friendly staff. It was good for value. Very central to all the shops, cafes, bars, etc. I would stay there again. The only issue was the parking or drop off the area because it's on a busy road but it is in the CBD area.

Great location...would have given it a 5 for over all except that that the washing machine wasn’t working well and it took hours to dry our clothes that we’d be using for the next leg of our travel...but really the location was really great , near restaurants and the free tram near it was very accessible and made it easier for us to go to the attractions. Room was spacious and always clean. Employees were friendly and helpful. Check in and check out were quick. Over all very satisfied.

Superb location for shopping and located within the free tram zone. Minutes to Chinatown, H&M, David Jones and the State Library of Victoria (must see). Took the taxi from the airport to hotel which cost $67 but took the Skybus on the return from 4 blocks away at only $18 per person. Will definitely stay again here.

The location is excellent, along Elizabeth St, just 2-3 tram stops away from Flinders St station. The room is a little old but it is clean and neat. Would be better if they provide room slippers though. We used their jet pool and sauna the next day. Jet pool wasn’t fully operational and sauna room light was fused when we were there. The gym looks decent!

The apartment is located in city centre, and the nearby Swanston St and Chinatown means good foor is just a short walk away. However, the interior design would need a revamp (e.g. replacing the bathtub with good-water-pressure shower).

Location in center, close to all the shopping mall and transportation. Big room, although they don't change sheets everyday that didn't bother us much. Nice staffs. Washing machine dryer didn't work. I asked for the room not facing the street, so no noise problem at all.

Great accomodation at a great location”
It is always a pleasure to stay at Somerset on Elizabeth. Reception staff are really friendly and helpful. They do make a point to remember you and try to accomodate with your request. I had several bookings on different platforms as we are a family of 7 with 2 young children. I am glad that they willing to arrange us to be at least the same level knowing their occupancy rate is pretty high. Located at Elizabeth Street, gives us many options like free city tram (if you are lazy to walk) to Queen Victoria Market and walkable to many shopping area. They are also located near Chinatown which does help to provide late dinners if you forgot that most eatery/restaurant closes pretty early. Their wifi connectivity is fast and good too.

Kudos To the staff that make the stay so comfortable. Definitely recommend to friends who wants to be treated warmly like home. However, I would like to take the opportunity to highlight that there's one Indian manager there who wasn't that friendly. So far I've been there for a total of 5 nights and been in and out for shopping, I wasn't greeted verbally nor was given a smile when talking at the counter. On the last night of checkout, I feel it's natural to ask what's the latest checkout because I'm having an evening flight. The staff I was talking to turn and ask the Indian "boss" and the reply was "for free?" That is a real turn off! By the way, I wasn't thinking of free, and I'm willing to pay (which I did). What I'm trying to say is this; don't presume ur guest is taking advantages of the stay. We are merely checking wats the latest checkout time and will be extending the stay hourly (charged). And pls don't treat ur guest as transparent.

Near to many city attractions, shopping, train stop right in front of the hotel and it is Free of Charge. Also lots of HALAL restaurants within walking distance. Staff are very helpful and they are happy to assist you to arrange tours yeah dont miss THE GREAT OCEAN ROAD tour. It is the whole day tour with more than 500km ride but you wouldn't feel the distance. Highly recommend for all kind of travelers.
