Amazing ocean view, price is not so expensive”
I booked the simple ocean view room, but the staff upgraded my room to Jurang 1 which has two bedrooms include a private pool. That one has the best view of all other rooms. I wish I can stay in this hotel in future.

Beautiful Bali”
One of the best locations to chill out & simply relax in Bali. Nothing to do but relax. The only noise was the waves on the beach & the views were simply stunning. If your into shopping, this isn’t the place, just relax. Been twice now & will definitely go back. If you can afford it, pay extra for a villa with a view. Just beautiful

Very expensive for the facilities they lack to provide. ”
Poor service by staff around pool, for drinks and light snacks, wait for towels and drinks were not offered unless ordered at bar by yourself. Breakfast was poor after for the price of rooms, stating 5 star hotel, have had a much larger and nicer array of breakfast at much cheaper hotels . Rooms do not have any phones to contact reception for issues or queries, or in an emergency. Wifi continually drops out. There are timber deck walkways to the rooms, with a lot of rotted timber and protruding nails, footwear is a must when walking around and a real safety hazard with the exposed nails. Location and view is amazing, a very peaceful and relaxing atmosphere, but for the money, would not stay here again or recommend it.

Great social hotel, you don't want to go to your room”
This hotel is amazing. It's the first hotel that I didn't want to go to my room and keep to myself. People usually annoy me, especially when there are a lot of them together. Not this hotel. The way the lobby is designed, you don't want to leave it, you want to sit, watch the sunset, listen to music, play chess, swim, eat. I don't know how they accomplished this, but they did. The staff takes personal care of you, my host was Eva and she attended to me and all the guest with ease. We stayed in Bali for two weeks, our first hotel was in Kuta, more inland and secluded, so 3 days here, was a pleasant surprise. As for location, I think Kuta is better or Ubud, but if you want to spend time really relaxing, go to this hotel. One more thing, the bathroom is very cool and outside (still attached to your room and very nice) but due to the monkeys you have to take your toiletries with you to the bathroom. I suggest putting in some drawers or cabinets in the bathroom.

Stunning resort but lacked the simple comforts as a chair in the room. ”
The resort was absolutely stunning. The bed was the most comfortable I’ve ever slept on. Very clean. But our room lacked simple necessities such as a chair to place stuff on or sit or read. No mirrors, only in the washroom. Can’t blow dry your by the sink cause no outlet. Outdoor shower has no shelving to place your toiletries on. I’m not sure what other rooms offered on the resort but ours wasn’t convenient.

The details are not in place ”
First of all, the hotel's architectural features are affirmed, very characteristic of design, and service is very intimate, especially the bed of the room, environmental protection and high technology. But the hotel has no telephone to contact guest room service, which is very inconvenient for foreign tourists. In a week trip in Bali Island, every hotel I live in is given small gifts, such as bamboo woven bags, sunscreens, shampoo suits, fans and so on. Only you do not have, only for reference, if you can take advice. I believe that the experience of guests will be better 。

Great architecture but not so great rooms”
The first impression of the hotel was that it has an impressive entrance and a beautiful architecture. Views of the Padang Padang beach was incredible and there is a relaxing vibe to the resort. The concept of sustainability build was carried out throughout the resort which as the guest relations manager explained took 8 years using recycled wood. If you are however after comfort and luxury, this is not a hotel for you. There are several areas to be improved on the rooms and that comforts of the guests should be taken care of better being a 5 star resort. I have read past reviews of guests and the same problems still exist. Extremely slow WiFi access everywhere on the property, lack of many amenities (including toiletries) in the room, no TV, no phone, no place to put your luggage, no kettle/ tea making, etc etc. The toilet could do with better lighting, I struggled with my make up at night, the wardrobe could be bigger etc etc. As there is no phone, you need to walk to the front desk when you need something. Staff are friendly and do try their best but their attention to details could do with better training. After stay at a great property in ubud, we had expected more out of suarga, only to be disappointed by our stay here.

Amazing location overlooking some of Bali's best surf breaks and very close to some of the best food in Uluwatu (La Baracca, Drifters, etc.). The hotel itself is gorgeous and the rooms are amazing - plenty of character and attention to details to make great, charming villas which have everything you need for a beach getaway. The infinity pools are the best part - you won't want to leave the hotel, although you definitely should walk down to Padang Padang beach (literally below the hotel) or head to Single Fin or Sunday's beach club for an afternoon.

Needs improvement”
Don't stay at this place if you need fast wifi because it's very slow. Also you will need transportation to get to Seminyak but they won't let Uber or Grab to pick up passengers here. The room I purchased wasn't available because air con was broken, but the new room I got also had air con problem and needed to be fixed. On a positive note the breakfast was good and the food at the restaurant not bad. Good value for the money if they could only fix the facility problems...

Exceptional”
This is by far the most exceptional resort we've stayed in as we usually look for character in hotels we choose whenever we travel. The design and the details put into this hotel is remarkable. The staff are very well trained and are very accommodating. Arturo, one of the hotel managers, educated us about the how the hotel was built around considering environmental impacts and how they intend to leave zero carbon footprint as they operate is very impressive. The location has the most amazing view of the sunset and dreamy starlit evening skies with very little noise and light pollution. Couples and families who would like to celebrate their relationship will definitely leave with new beautiful memories from the place.

Amazing hotel”
We fell in love with Suarga. An eco-conscious boutique hotel with great staff in an amazing location. We were impressed with their story and how it was built using recycled materials. The views are incredible, food fresh and full of flavour. The rooms are spacious and very careful designed. It is a unique hotel which is still growing and we hope to go back soon.

It was ok”
Everything comes with a big price here. The food is ok but way over priced. The food across the road is a 10th of the price is 10 times better. Just not as flashy. The sustanabilty part is a great idea but in the wet season it can be on the cooler side. Expect cold showers here. With no help in making them warmer. Just the excuse that they run their energy by solar power and a little nervous laugh by the receptionist. They obviously get this feedback a lot. Another annoying issue we had was at 5pm one day whilst my partner and I were trying to nap the staff knocked on our door to replenish the water, they kept knocking until we opened. So much for a relaxing holiday when you’re forced to answer the door for water. All in all Clean and tidy and great views but over priced.

Heavenly views, subpar check in ”
We had to wait for a long time to be shown to our room after the check in. I think it was a good one hour and a half waiting at the dugong restaurant waiting for the welcome drinks and for someone to bring us to our room. Asked the front desk on the reason for the hold up, was informed that we had to wait for the hotel manager. I understand if you want to give that extra personal touch during the overall check-in experience, but 1.5 hours waiting time after a long drive is a bit too much.

Suarga Padang ”
We stayed 6 nights in this hotel. What we liked: - the location is perfect to cool places and beaches (Paradise Beach, Cashew Tree Restaurant) - the design of the hotel and the idea is brilliant - the room service twice a day for making the room mosquito free What disturbs us: - the breakfast has not a big variety of food with the argument everything is local, just one cheese for example - the rooms doesn’t have main things inside for example no place for the shampoo / shower gel near the shower itself - no chair inside the room just the bed, no luggage rack for suitcases I think the hotel needs more time, because it’s just 70% thought out. If you travel a lot like us you will definitely miss important things.

Stunnijg views uncomfortable rooms”
The concept is innovative, bold, eco friendly, and one of a kind. The views and location is the best and the architectural design is out of this world. But the hotel lacks basics. * no telephone in rooms * no fans or cooling system in bathrooms * no kettles for hot drinking water * no butlers service to rooms or pool side * more insects than usual as the place has no solid walls to keep them out nor do they want to use products other than natrual agents ( which doesnt work anyway) to deter insects. * heaps of steps, ive seen 2 people trip during my 1 night stay Management doesnt want to know about your dissappointment, takes everything as a personal attack. " you should introduce ur self when talking to me" " you would rather be bitten then breath in pesticides".....okay. We left.

Amazing Amazing!”
Suarga is an incredibly special hotel and is inspiring due to its complete sustainability and concern for the environment. The hotel itself is beautiful, well equipped and has stunning rooms. The staff are warm and attentive. This is a place to get away from it all - I hope it stays small, relaxed, unpretentious and wonderful. I would definitely recommend it.
