Best place for travellers”

It was all good except that most of the guests didn't keep their bed clean and their stuff is everywhere. The kitchen was a bit dirty. Bathroom was smelly and not well maintained. However, the staff and facilities provided were super awesome. Don't forget to try the Indian restaurant opposite the building.

Dirty mattress made me all itchy”

Very good location and friendly staff, however it's potty that you can see the mattresses are covered with stains. Even though I applied the provided sheets, I felt my body all itchy when I slept. Highly not recommended for people may have allergic reaction to dust mites etc.

The room was just ok fir one night. Shared Bathroom has nothing. But the neighbor room was very noisy coming in and out for the whole night. The only impressive thing was its in MEL CBD and close to the main train station.

Max one night”

I would choose again only max for a night as a last resort, if nothing else available. They gave me first a mixed room wothout telling anything, even though i reserved a female one, when i found out thay just gave me another key.. The only available bed there was not undone after previous huest, i had to do it by myself. Bathrooms - a tragedy, wc always together with a shower, 6 for all hostel out which 2 not usable (unable to close door / turn on light); a party in hostel kitchen - then in the morning all left dirty incl. toilets. Never more, if possible.

all was ok for me, i don t mind about clean. but some people were living there and wasn t registred in the hotel. everyone can get in, no control. I had to wake up people who took my bed for sleeping. people from outside. not safe at all.

the toilet cum shower is dirty, the TV room floor is sticky from the drink spilt over on the floor during the day. kitchen is messy while the fridge is overloaded. there is no supervision/monitoring during the day by the staff on the cleanliness /orderliness of the hostel and the common area. the hostel should give warning to those who breach the rules and non-co-operative in maintaining cleanliness or found stealing. Increase security in the hostel as there was an internal theft by unregistered disguised guest during my stay and i have lost 1 bottle of milk in the fridge. Other backpackers have lost their items too in the kitchen. Highly recommend the hostel management to implement stringent control on security & cleanliness as the hostel has potential to be upgraded to become top hostel with good location.

I needed a bed for the night and they had one. The lady (whose name I am embarrassed to admit that I have forgotten) who greeted me was very sweet and helpful. It is hostel, in case you don't know, so what can you expect? I would gladly recommend this place to anyone from anywhere.
