"Our stay at Whakatane was very relaxing, beacuse the staff there were very helpful and friendly. The rrom was exetremely clean and spacious with delicately chosen decore pieces, which made this place feel like home. we were situated very close to the wharf, so we could experience it while my husband took the cruise to White Island. A very lovely experience was had in Whakatane."

    "We found the check in very efficient and quick. The cleanliness of shower was a little lax but I think the cleaners had just missed finishing the unit as there was some items missing also. We also didn't like walking through the kids bedroom to the toilet. There was probably a lack of pillows and warm blankets as it was a very cold night but nothing extra to go on beds."

    "Clean, quiet, decent facilities. Bit of a stroll into town if you don't want to drive but can do it all on residential roads and cycleways. Was extremely handy for my race at Rex Morpeth Park. Owner very helpful and friendly. Bed was unbelievably comfortable! Would certainly return."
