Very different to what the property markets itself...in low season there are NIL activities...the site is very misleading. The swim up bar is a reading zone and the coffee cart is not open every day. At arrival, you are given a bad room then have to pay for a better room....I did get an upgrade after my friend had to pay an extra 2000Baht/night on top of what was already paid just to get a bath and seaview. Can improve on their reception skill and hospitality and should have someone whi can understand & speak English. Many resort guests mentioned the same experience. Resort spa is terrible..and very expensive- not a resort spa..does not look like the photos and limited! The massage is better in the village. The food in restaurant is excellent and staff very friendly. Gardens nice.
Nice resort to relax”
+ Nice pools, friendly staff, very good buffet breakfast, new rooms (canna deluxe), quiet (not so many kids), lots of trees and plants in the resort Atea, makes it really comfortable - Far from the beach, location up on the hill, not so nice road to walk to the resort
I am a returning customer and I highly recommend this hotel. A special Thank You to Joann & Woody for making my stay extra special. When staying at the hotel, I highly recommend requesting a Taxi Driver, Mr. Samnuk for your transportation needs as he drove me everywhere for a honest fair price ... THANK YOU Andaman Cannacia for making my 50 & 51st Birthdays special.
AMAZING STAFF AND SERVICE, GREAT HOTEL, PERFECT VACATION!”
They have staff that would go out of their way to accommodate and service guests. The hotel itself is amazing. The room is exquisitely beautiful! It was a perfect Phuket vacation.
Outstanding 4 star resort”
We choose this resort as it looked very Thai and we were extremely happy with everything ,this is the best area of puket with amazing beaches. We stayed the week before Christmas and the rate was about $90 p/n which was very cheap. We really felt like we were in Thailand ( other resorts don't have this feel ) It's almost impossible to fault our stay . Rooms are large ,a little dated but still very nice in a garden tropical setting. It's slightly away from the crowds which we loved and we felt like we were in Paradise overlooking the town and coast line. You can walk down the hill or rent a motor bike or take the shuttle . I suggest renting a scooter and explore the beautiful area . Truly a Stunning pool and setting to enjoy. Great food at normal prices friendly staff in every way and some (the Philippines ones speak perfect English) Joanne at the front desk is so nice to deal with. The breakfast is amazing , it's like a feast of different dishes from all over the world. Thank
one of Best Hotel in Thailand”
This hotel is totally perfect !!..No negative points upgrade to Junior suite. the staff is very professional...especially Ms Johann who will help you for all your wishes. all is beautiful and very professional. One of the best in Thailand
Nice room with a jacuzzi ”
I liked my honeymoon suite had a Jacuzzi and a big lizard came up to me while i was in it . The breakfast wasn't great I expected it to be better. The view from the hotel is nice, the swimming pool area was nice with a bar but needed to be cleaned from leaves. The staff were nice. All in all i enjoyed my stay there.
Nice quiet hotel with friendly staff”
Have stayed at the hotel many times, about 6, love the face that its always kept clean and tidy and is staffed by extremely friendly staff. Just about5 mins walk to the busy streets below where you can eat and shop
Andaman Cannacia Resort & Spa”
My wife and I had a good time in the hotel. The clean pools are one of the attraction that made us love to stay in the hotel. We found that the staff of the hotel are well trained and very friendly. It's a high stardard hotel which worth to spend at least 3 days for staying!
Access to and from Kata not easy. Walkway is too steep. Bus service should be more regular as beach and town is near due to its location, not good to walk to and from hotel to town and beaches. On Sunday morning, 10/2/19 airconditioning was not available. Management did not bother to inform guests and apologize for this. Very disappointing attitude.
Nice resort on the hills”
Resort may not be the newest but it's still good. Up on the hills, you get a nice view of the ocean. I love lounging by the pool and there is a common area that you can sunbathe and overlook the ocean. Quite difficult to get to if you have to walk. Hotel provides shuttle to Kata beach. I frequent phuket very often and are very comfortable with motorbike rental, which makes transport around Phuket to be a breeze.
We booked for a honeymoon suite and expected to get the nice sea-view room we saw from the website. But that room was not available when we checked-in. The hotel offered us to see other available honeymoon suite rooms but non of them have comparable nice view. So they offer us a free upgrade to the Canna Suite which has a large bed room, a living room and a perfect view to the Andaman from your bed and balcony. The hotel staffs are nice and helpful. We like this place.
very far from beach”
if im not in a group i would rather stay somewhere accessible. this place is on a hill, very steep and not convenient for walking. kata beach area in general is a laid back place as compared to patong so anywhere near the happenings is not that noisy. there are lots of mosquitos and i've had many bumps. nothing going on at this place, even the masseur is only one person! shuttle is every hour! they cleaned the room and left the door open with our valuables inside!!!
Beautiful rooms with an amazing hotel view”
This is beautiful, from the pool area you can view the whole of the Kata beach.... the rooms are Nice and clean(don't get the mosquito zone rooms, there will be a sticker on the balcony door) the showers are the tub and shower combo type however amazing stay.... They have shuttle services to Kata beach every 1 hour and pick up.... unlike Patong, there isn't wifi everywhere however this hotel does have wifi...
2 weeks in heaven”
The staff here are incredible. We had a few issues with our room, and the staff was more than accommodating. When our AC stopped working for the second time, we were upgraded into a new room within an hour. The breakfast buffet is fantastic, from Asian food to the all American breakfast. I wish I got one of the employees name, but I call him cap (always wearing a baseball cap). This kid was awesome. Friendly and helpful, always had a smile to welcome me. We're not going back to Phuket for a while, gonna explore the northern part of the country next, but if we were, we'd definitely stay here again
Good stay, WiFi no good, a bit aging”
Overall I did enjoy my stay at this resort. The biggest complaint I have is the lack of internet despite the multitude of wide open WiFi connections. Ironically thats likely the issue... its wide open to everyone within range of the antennas...over logging. The second issue that is a bit distracting at first is the run down state of all the WOODEN RAILINGS and deck surfaces. accept for around the pool, all the rooms with balcony have wooden railing with all the paint peeling off. The room I initially got had the worst looking sliver inspiring deck surface. It is unacceptable for a resort to rent this room, and its next to a construction site with a big green steel wall to look at. They said "oh its quiet" uh huh...not at all. I asked for a better room and the manager kindly led me to a nice suite on second floor looking over the pool area with an almost wrap around concrete deck; One balcony for bedroom and a long one around the living room. Excellent view of the ocean. We spent many a nite watching the moon and listening to the ocean drink wine. The railing was a bit rough as I mentioned but I got used to it. The furniture was a bit dated but suited the room with its dark wood . On each deck was a blue day bed (4 inch foam rubber mattress wrapped in blue fabric) with a round end to end pillow. The resort is a short but vertical distance to the beach. There is a trail that goes down to the beach, It is about 72 concrete steps of varying height and length and some slopes of dirty and concrete that get very slippery in the rain. Going down can be a bit challenging. The trail goes through some dirty and junk riddled back yards and finally puts you into a steep roadway to the beach road. Going up is a workout. A Tuk Tuk will run you 200 Baht but it beats walking. The road is pretty steep. There is a shuttle but its running times are widely spaced and not always convenient. The restaurant breakfast is pretty good variety and there is an omelette station. The pool is
This is my second time staying at the resort and it's gotten even better since the last trip. The staff is super friendly, the view is amazing and the shuttle to the beach is convenient. The happy hour special is great and the pool is super relaxing. Can't wait for my next trip back!
Friendly and helpful staff, value for money”
They have good helpful staff who were very warm n friendly. The distance from resort to beach is far, have to walk 10 mts downhill. Walking down is fine, but uphill is treacherous! Spa is not great, very average. Rooms are good, clean and spacious. We stayed in a deluxe double room. However, they made a double bed out of two single beds!! We did have a bad experience with neighbours (some Chinese tourists) who were atrociously loud with TV on with high volume, banging doors, etc. But after complaining to reception, they kept quiet! Overall, value for money!
What a view”
Very Nice stay and perfect room, for a good price. The staff were very helpful. One remark : the shuttle to and from the hotel could be better organised. It is a steep hill, not a long distant but steeeeep. Every hour also in the evening. May 2 shuttles? One here and one at the blossom. Costly? May a small fee for extra rides and one a day( both ways) for free?
Nice hotel garden with pools and a great view!”
Even though one notices that the hotel is not new anymore, the garden and pools are well kept and a fine place to relax, with a great view over Kata beach and the sea. Our deluxe room was clean, spacious and comfy. Breakfast was good and we enjoyed the food at the restaurant as well. Happy hour offers for beer and cocktails are excellent. Staff is friendly and the hotel offers a free shuttle to/from Kata town/beach, which is only minutes away. We really enjoyed our stay!
