Avoid if possible, horrible services”
Near the city, quiet surrounding and large space
Not satisfactory. Even though the motel itself have a nice exterior and interior but the owner (husband & wife) were not friendly at all. The moment I step in the reception they do not even greet me and even make me wait for them to finish up their chores (which they can continue do it after check me in). The do not smile at all and look at us with scrutinize eyes. We did bring kids along and I understand that I have to pay extra for the kinds but they can tell us nicely instead of demand us to pay. Since they do not have a lot of guests, we were under their watchful eyes and monitor whether we did any damages or not. Make our stay not comfortable. I've been staying in a lot of hotels, motels and apartments, and even some of my friends that were together working in hospitality industry,

Clean,sunny main room,small bedroom.”
Pleasant surroundings and river walk nearby.
Pleasant welcome. Offered choice of milk; thoughtful. Bedroom with twin beds rather cramped but did not affect us. Lights outside each unit that could be turned off at night. I find this helpful. Generally quiet on main road after about 10.30 pm No free wi Fi available. Expensive to buy.

Stayed for one night as we had a wedding close by, didn't apend alot of time at the motel. It was nice and tidy and perfect for what we wanted. Would recommend.

Pleasant Enough ”
Large Affordable Rooms
Handy location to where we had to be and adequate rooms for staying one night in Palmerston North. Hotel rooms are dated but have ample room with all required amenities supplied. Choice of trim or full milk but no minibar. Would be nice to have plunger coffee on offer.

Basic older style motel but ok for a short stay”
Affordable, clean
Basic 1960/70''s style decor within reasonable distance of the centre of town. We only only needed one night but I wouldn't choose a long stay here. The kitchenette area is tiny with a tiny fridge, and a cupboard that need kneeingl to access. The ducks in the car park are very friendly as is the manager. Wifi will cost you, we didn't try it.
