Stunning lake view, Big apartment, Can do own laundry in the apartment itself

Very beautiful lake view Slightly inconvenient for those with a lot of luggages as the access to the apartment entrance has quite a bit of stairs No free wifi is a letdown Well equipped kitchen but some of the kitchen appliances are not clean.

Fantastic views.”

Location, rooms standard and Lake views.

We loved these apartments. The facilities were excellent with a great kitchen and en suite bathrooms in both rooms. The view from our balcony was great at night and day. Whilst it was not cheap, it was quite good value for Queenstown. There are so many things to do around this area. You need to have plenty of time and money, as nothing is cheap!

Luxury apartment

we enjoy so much during the 3 night stay. apartment is big, clean and with complete facilities. it is easy to locate no doubt it is not situated in the town area. it takes only 5 mins drive to the town center. no issue to check in late and the reception has got everything sorted out even though the office is close the only thing to take note is that the driveway is narrow and driver has to be extra careful.

Great view but limited amenities ”

I stayed in the 3 bedroom apartment with my family for 3 nights. Pros: the view, waivered portacot fee, spacious kitchen and lounge, free wifi. Cons: You only receive a 'starter pack' of items like toilet paper, tea/coffee etc, no fresh towels were provided for the subsequent nights, outdated bathrooms, lack of mirrors and furniture, no luggage racks. The accommodation driveways are incredibly steep making it hard to access the apartment and very hard to load/unload a vehicle. The garage was very narrow and hard to park in, plus it had no internal access which meant climbing two flights of stairs outside.

Nice view”

Stayed in 3 bedrooms apartment for 3 nights. Modern. Very comfortable stay.Great view. Perfect stars watching right at our balcony. Free Wifi. Big screen TV with discovery and pay TV channels ( free for us). Further away from city centre, so not crowd or noisy, but that means have to use taxi, cost about $ 12 each trip. Right by lake side, very steep to walk. narrow driveway, even the taxi took us back had his side of the car scratched. Can improve with more supply of tea & coffee and toilet roll, feel embarass to go and ask for more toilet roll and other supply, especially at night time. Overall, very modern, nice and comfortable apartment

The studio apartment is large with separate lounge room. It is quiet and the view of the lake from sliding door is beautiful. The driveway is steep and steep walk from the road to the apartment is not suitable for elderly people. Most of the guests drive so not a problem for them. Wifi is available in reception area and outside. Overall, it is a nice apartment.

Motel in front of the lake ”

Nice lake view, clean room, good heating facilities

This motel is above average but the facilities are a bit old, a bit difficult to drive up to the main road due to 50 degree slope. The hotel provide full cooking facilities. Nice lake view. They did not provide free internet access. Very expensive internet rate NZ$24 if you need it for a week with limited volume. 7-10 minutes drive to town center. They did not clean up the room even I stayed for 4 nights. I have to use the same towels and throw the rubbish by myself.

lovely heating, plenty of room and beautiful views

Brilliant. Lovely helpful staff and very comfortable accommodation. Not too far out of town and we would walk along the water to main town area and spent $12 for a taxi back after dark. Suggest if you are going skiing or snowboarding for the first time to book the whole package including ski gear as hiring separately is too much trouble getting fitted one day, picking up and dropping off to a place separate from the tour bus group.

Most comfortable stay during our NZ visit ”

Huge living and dining rooms; large and well equipped kitchen; superb views of the lake and mountains.

We were a family of 4 who stayed 4 nights at Breakfree the Point. We were wowed by the size, cleanliness and comfort when we first entered the apartment. Although the apartment was only for 4 people, the dining room sits 8, and the living room is big enough to entertain friends. The 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms are tucked away downstairs. Everything was clean, comfortable and appliances were new and well maintained. The apartment enhanced our visit to Queenstown, and provided a lovely retreat after our day's activities. The view of the lake and mountains were superb, a lovely scene to wake up to everyday. With such an apartment, one is tempted just to stay indoors in comfort. The only inconvenience was the steep slope our car had to navigate to reach the apartment, and the need for us to lug our 3 large pieces of luggage up and down stairs, both outside and inside. Flatter access for luggage would help. But overall, the stay was wonderful.

Beautiful view, great bathroom

Staff were welcome and helpful. Locatiion was a little far from town but there is a lovely walk along the sea which takes you in. Otherwise, taxis aren't too expensive. We did catch the bus in and out once too, but the bus stop location is quite a long way from the apartments. The walk down from the road to our apartment (which was right at the bottom) is extremely steep: not suitable for the less able. It was very useful being able to use the free clothes washing and drying facilities.
