Me and my friend booked for 2 nights in Astagina and another 1 night on our last day in Bali. Staffs were very hospitable especially the ones in the conceirge - Krisna, Sinta, and Bayu - they were very attentive to our requests and helped us in everyway possible to make our vacation wonderful. Upon check-in, we already informed them that we will be having our tour the next day thus we cannot go to the breakfast but they can give us “breakfast box” instead, aggreed and set the delivery of the said box at 5-5:30am. Next day came, hoping for something “big” for the breakfast box but we received a box of 3 types of bread, 2 kinds of fruits, some jam and butter, and a bottle of water each. We didn’t complain thinking maybe it is what is served for breakfast in the hotel, and it is still early that time. On our last day, we went to join in for breakfast where we witness how different the servings from what we received the other morning, there were many varieties to choose from. Then we had another booking to the same hotel after 2 days, wherein we now checked-in in a twin beds room, room is spacious. Anyhow, our overall stay were wonderful that is why we still booked another night on our last day in Bali, and planning to stay in the same hotel when we go back to Bali.

Tijili is such a gem of a hotel. From our rose petals n swans anniversary formation on the bed to the wonderful staff,it’s been amazing ! The location is perfect . On a quiet street in Seminyak . 5mins to the beach and rows of eateries . The artsy decor is beautifully instagrammable. I had the most delicious omelette at breakfast . The 1 for 1 mojitos at cocktail hour & the friendly DJ jazzy playing at the outdoor lounge added to our celebration. Staff such as Yuli who never fails to smile even during the breakfast hour & Destra at the front desk who assisted us with the Ubud spa ,so refreshing . I love everything about this charming place . It Beats all the 5 star exclusive Bali hotels or villas with its personality . My partner Kevin has a hard time getting up as the bed is so heavenly & we’re always late to do our day activities . 1 point is that there’s no vanity mirror outside in the room as it’s only in the bathroom. 5 stars to Tijili n will come back for sure !

From the moment you enter is amazing. You are treated like a VIP. Amazing view literally in the middle of the jungle. And the breakfast it was amazing. I changed many hotels in bali and this one had the most amazing breakfast. Everything you want. Perfect service. The dinner delicious but a bit expensive comparing to Ubud prices. But delicious. The only thing is that is 25-30 min from the center and the pool. If this hotel would have an infinity pool it would be one of the best in Ubud. Value for money.

highly recommended. staffs were helpful, breakfast was awesome, n they even provide afternoon tea. we had family rooms and kids have their own privacy. rooms ass big and spacious, my 2 boys loved it totally. cleanliness was good too. location is good, just a short walk to the main Street.

The Inna Grand Bali Beach is the Queen of Hotels in Bali. I have stayed there many times since 1972 and still find it is my preferred place to stay in Bali. Many staff members have been there for many years and always remember you when you return. It is really lovely to be met at the front entrance with "welcome home" and "its nice to see you again". The rooms are comfortable, but are show their age. Most things work, but I found that staff reacted quickly to requests to repair or replace anything that didn't work. The king size beds are comfortable and the airconditioning can be set to a good temperature. Each room had an old CRT TV with almost 40 channels. Not much in the way of sports, but several movie channels and the usual Discovery, Animal Planet and National Geographic channels. for Australian travellers there is the Australia Network Channel. All channels are free. The grounds of the hotel are manicured and lovely. It lovely to stroll through gardens to have breakfast in the morning. Lawns and plants are immaculate. Breakfast in included in many packages so that you can indulge in as much of the lovely fresh local fruits and food as you can eat. I am impressed with the cooks at the egg station who can cook up to 4 orders at the same time on 4 separate burners and do a perfect job each time. The GBB is one of the closest hotels to all of the major tourist attractions and destinations in Bali. For instance if you are going to visit the sites in the interior of Bali or Eastern Bali then it is 45 minutes closer than Nusa Dua. The nicest thing about the GBB is the staff. They remember you and look after you so well. It is is indeed a pleasure to stay there and be welcomed each time. It is also a chance to participate a little bit in Balinese life as many organisations in Bali and other parts of Indonesia use this hotel for conferences, weddings and university graduations.

A perfect hotel for me in Bali. I've stayed at more high class hotels in Bali a couple of times and they just don't feel right. The Puri Saron is just the right level where my decidedly picky wife can feel comfortable and relaxed and I can get a little bit of the traditional Bali vibe that keeps me going back since the time when this hotel site was a rice paddy...

We chose the Park Regis because the Deluxe Pool Suites advertised on Agoda looked like really good value. We are happy to say that overall we were delighted with our decision to stay there. It’s advertised as a 4 star hotel, but our facilities were definitely in a 5 star class with robes, slippers, 2 flat screen TVs, plunge pool, court yard, king sized bedroom, separate lounge, huge bathroom, powder room and kitchen. The Park Regis staff are so helpful, obliging and friendly that it feels a bit unfair to give nitpicking criticism. However, like most Asian hotels, some little touches that one would expect in a western hotel are lacking. We had a nice plunge pool and court yard, but no outdoor furniture until we asked. The beautiful marble floor would have been much better if they had been mopped more often. The main pool was good, adequate for laps, but not quite as large as it looks in the brochures. The Hotel’s Padi Padi Restaurant had great service and was good value for all meals. We would recommend the al a carte ‘Aussie Breakfast’ at R71,000 (A$7) rather than the buffet at R145,000. The main Kuta shops and Kuta beach is within walking distance. However, for a less than R20,000 (A$2) you can get a meter taxi there or even to the main DFS area. Just a tip for those first timers to Bali: You can get a SUV or car and driver who will be your interpreter and tour guide for a 10 hour day for less than A$60 a day (even including fuel), we used Edhi from www.adventuretrans.net or phone in Bali 081328061771. For other tours and theme parks check them out on the internet first or because brochure price seem to be inflated by 50%, bargain for discounts with the many tour operators around the streets. Good value restaurants abound, but if you are in the Poppies Lane 1 area we recommend ‘Uns’, 'The Secret Garden' and ‘Poppies’. If we can get a similar deal for the pool rooms again, we will definitely stay at the Park Regis on our 11th visit to Bali.

best hotel in Bali to stay at..drink in the view, this spot is gorgeous, food good but a little exp for Bali standards...lots of little warungs nearby though. Got upgraded to a jaccuzi villa..if what you want to do is laze around a pool watching the surfers at Uluwatu this is the spot...will come again def!

Our stay was very good for 1 week. Hotel is very well located, walking distance to restaurant, bars and shops. Nice pool on the roof, good breakfast, nice atmosphere in the hotel. You can very easily rent a scooter (definite must in Bali with no exception - bring your international license. You can rent without it with no questions ask but beware of police, they will fine you if you dont have it with one and quiet expensive too). Dont choose the option of renting car or taxi to go to different areas of bali, you ll get stuck in traffic and might ruin your stay otherwise early early morning to go somewhere around 7am otherwise 2hrs in traffic. Bali is definitely a beautiful place (except for traffic which gets to your head in the end), nice and friendly people, nature and rice fields around Ubud with its local craftsmanship (wood, clothes and silver), beaches are alright (have seen better), scenery is nice too around uluwatu wit the cliffs. Nice for diving, excellent waves around cangu area (north kuta) and from time to time for kite surfers.

Sadly it was my last night in Bali before heading home to Sydney on the late Jetstar flight. I hadn't booked any accomodation for the night as I had been staying in Ubud but wanted to be closer to shopping & the airport for my last day/night. I found a 2 bedroom Villa on Agoda @The JAS Villas right in the hub of Seminyak at a super cheap rate so booked it & I was gobsmacked at how awesome the Villa was. The staff were amazing & arranged a 7.30pm checkout the next evening which was bang on for me to get to the airport on time for my flight. My only regret is that I didn't discover this gem earlier in my stay. I will definitely be staying at The JAS Villas on my next trip to Bali. The location was perfect, just down a laneway from all the action in Seminyak yet when in the Villa it was tranquil & super relaxing, you would never know that a 3 min walk away was the hub of Seminyak clubs, bars & restaurants. And right at the end of the laneway across the road was a 24 hr restaurant WINNING

AT first glance, the hotel has a very modern chic new look, a place for urbanites with a Starbucks right at the lobby. A great feature for those accustomed to their regular Joe's even away on vacation. The lobby/reception area is spacious unlike most Bali hotels, with a few helpdesk. However, the check-in was a bit slow (couldn't find my booking) but everything was sorted in the end. The room was a pleasant surprised, everything looks clean, crisp and modern, albeit the size a bit smaller than usual. Amenities are adequate, i especially like the ziplock bag with tooth brushes and 2 tubes of toothpaste, which i can reuse for future travels. WIFI was excellent in the room and generally the whole hotel. I managed to do my work without any interference. One qualm about the hotel though, some of the staff (bell & security) seems to practice double standards, favoring the foreigners and ignoring the Asians. This was tested twice when i tried to get a cab, the staff opted to help the foreigners first, even though i was first in line.

On our last day in bali we booked this hotel recommended by our driver. Im not very picky with hotel but i usually book accomodation one night then move on to another if i didnt like something, or if i dont feel comfortable. But its a diff dtory with dash, I love The hotel ambiance, designs and art decor. The room is amazing it has a hippie design i love the upside down bunny! I wished we moved to seminyak earlier.Location is great right in front of potato head walking distance in seminyak square but i recommend to hire motor bike.you get a 15 mins welcome head and shoulder massage and a cute refreshing welcome drink. Mya restaurant is right next to it where the buffet breakfast is , i recommend to book your stay with breakfast as the selections are excellent.the service is superb! Amazing staff, very helpful, always ready to assist you and you can see that they love working there.we checked out noon but our flt is midnight out of bali. Unfortunately no late check out option but they can store your baggage in the hotel for as long as we needed and was offered a shower to refresh ourselves before our flight. Id like to say thank to dash hotel. The people there made our stay enjoyable, they made sure we are comfortable during our stay the warm greetings the smile and their positive energy which radiates to everyone is just amazing. I recommend this hotel and will stay here when i come back to bali.thank you once again.

perfect retreat directly the calm sanur beach. we booked a club room and have been more than impressed. phantastic club pool area with fountains in a blooming garden. complimentary breakfast and after noon tea as well as discounted spa threads within the rate. very nice beachside with huge deckchairs and a very good restaurant, so no complains just satisfaction in all aspects. highly recommended even compared to price level within the same standard of other bali hotels. free wifi and a very nice spa as well. honestly you dont go to bali for the beaches itself, but the puri santrian delivered anything to make our stay as comfortable as possible. and sanur has still a family bali feeling, compared to the mess of kuta area which should be avoided at any cost !!!

I have stayed at many hotels in Bali, but i found The Bene to be probably the best i have stayed at so far. It is close to the heart of everything and also close to the beach. It is hidden away at the end of a laneway which makes this place nice and peaceful. The pool closes at 9pm which is good as it can get noisy if open later than this. The staff are friendly ad it has a basement for scooter and car parking. The breakfast is average, i only ate there once in my week stay. much better options close by at reasonable prices. I didn't try the spa but it seemed good value for what you get. I would definately stay again and highly recommend The Bene.

we arrived just after midnight and often you may find some hotels with no one around but at amadea we were greeted and taken down in the buggy to the reception area as soon as we arrived with a very warm welcome. for this night we had a deluxe pool terrace room which was extremely well kept and clean (although you would hope so for a brand new hotel). the facilities are very nice but i must say the main benefit of this hotel is most certainly the staff. having stayed in many hotels in bali this has been the only one that has been simply above and beyond always ensuring that we were satisfied and anything we ordered was delivered. for the future nights after the first one we stayed in a 2 bedroom villa which i must say is breathtaking and really something unexpected for bali. as they take pride in the cleanliness and ensuring it is to the highest standard the daily housekeeping does take some time so try and stay out for a few hours once you leave as they clean the massive villa, the pool and even do some gardening. for those interested facilities in the villa includes 2 separate buildings. one that opens up to the pool has a bedroom (with large lcd tv) with large bathroom that even has the shower connecting with the far side of the pool. the other has the living room (large lcd tv), dining table and kitchen on the lower level. the kitchen includes plenty of glasses and crockery with hot stove, microwave, kitchen knife set, large fridge and even a water filter that would find in offices with plenty of drinking water so you are never going to run out. upstairs in that building is a study area with lcd tv and sofa bed with another bedroom connecting to a balcony and also another bathroom with massive shower. both bathrooms have dual sinks. the pool has 2 sunbeds and is your own private pool. this hotel is the place to be in seminyak! it is amazing in all areas and easy to access everything seminyak and bali has to offer.

I had been to Bali last month and stayed in Hotel Sun Island for 7 days. I must say this hotel is a great place to stay in Bali. Hotel is centrally located in Kuta and well connected with airport. One can enjoy roaming in Bali downtown in the evening with all good restaurants, malls, cinemas, markets, pubs around this hotel. Staff of the hotel is kind and very helping. Cleanliness and hygiene is well maintained. Hotel encloses a big swimming pool with good facilities for both adults and children to enjoy. Breakfast included variety of food everyday including Indonesian and continental cuisines. The rooms were big and equipped with all required facilities. One thing to mention about rooms is transparent glass fitted in the bathroom wall and curtain to cover the glass is given outside the bathroom. I did not understand why glass is given in bathroom wall? If it was by design, then they should provision curtain inside the bathroom.

We booked this hotel for Honeymoon, but unfortunately our hotel room had problem with Aircondition. So hotel staff relocated us to other property but same management where located just right on the front of Seminyak Beach. They gave us big Villa for stay at the front of Seminyak beach which had 2 big bed room, Swimming Pool and Guest Room. Very pleasant place to stay and appreciate to the Hotel staff that always provide best service for the customer

Only stayed one night after landing in Bali before heading to other areas in Bali. Hotel was grand, felt slightly luxurious for the price and the pool was nice. Seminyak square where there are plenty of smart and delicious restaurants is only 15 minute walk. Would recommend to anyone staying in seminyak on a budget but wanted slight luxury.

This is one of the best hotel/villa I have stay in my 10 years travelling. The design of the villa represent the unique of Balinese culture. I book a villa with private pool and the room is spacious and authentic design. The hygiene is perfect and need to praise to the villa staff too, as very friendly, polite and helpful which represent the beauty of Balinese. I enjoy the Galungan Festival here and the staff is very happy to help me wear sarung. The breakfast is much better taste than the other restaurant in Ubud, make us rather back to villa to have our dinner than try and error at center Ubud. The environment of villa is quiet and very private, make us feel can relax and in overall we have a very good experience staying in Dwaraka. Very highly recommended.

Although there were some negative reviews mentioning that this hotel was new (not all services were available)and close to a nosiy neighbourhood, I decided stay at this place anyway. No regrets. My three nights there was enjoyable. The staff were attentive, nice and friendly (and yes, they were friendly to Indonesians too, something which is a rare case in Bali hotels). One minor thing was that the room numbering system was a bit confusing. It took me some time to locate my room on my first night. On the third floor, you find rooms starting with 13xx and thought I was on the wrong floor (I stayed at 3306). Rooms starting with 23xx and 33xx apparently were on the same floor too. The arrows on the signposts were also not easy to understand. Perhaps the management could consider changing room numbering system. But apart from that I enjoyed my stay, and would probably stay here on my next business trip to Bali.

i've stayed at lots of hotels in bali and would have to say the aston would now be my favorite. i could not find any fault with any part of my stay even if i tried. fantastic staff always would give you there time for a chat. the breakfast is absolutely wonderful.never have to ask for anything to be topped up fresh juices always cold choc milk ,fresh milk,they make there own yoghurt just divine also their own made porridge/muesli delicious. food around the pool is expense but most hotels are. lots of resurants opposite the hotel ,free daily shuttle to kuta and return.pool area spotless pool spotless crystal clear water,fresh fluffy pool towels and heaps of sun lounges as with most hotels you will get the selfish ones that will lay their towels out first thing in the morning have breakfast go shopping for a few hours and come back to "their" lounges but the pool staff are only too happy to remove ny towels tht have been left unattened for 15 mins if you ask them. the gym was also great. just love this place will be returning in october this year.

Okay this is our 2nd hotel in Bali. 1st is Sanur Agung Hotel. Review 2/10 Mahagiri very nice hotel. Near to the beach. Have breakfast. Can rent motorcycle. Have swimming pool. Bar. Restaurant. Room is big. Nice decoration. Toilet is big as well. Bed is very confortable. Got TV and great channel. You can request hotel to arrange boat from Lembongan to Penida/Sanur. My rate is 8/10.

Read some pretty negative feedbacks here on TripAdvisor on FuramaXclusive Ocean Beach. And to be honest, I was a tad hesitant at first to finalise my booking for my accommodation as I was travelling alone, but I booked furamaxclusive anyways.. and let me tell you, I have zero regrets doing so. I booked the one bedroom suite with furama in Bali and I had an excellent stay! Yes, there were some issues with the air conditioning towards the end of my stay, but the hotel bunked me up to a two bedroom suite so I won’t get stuffed up inside a warm room without any AC. The hotel tried to rectify the issue however due to rainy season and it was pouring outside, engineering couldn’t fix the AC in my room. Thank you front office manager Sumitra for assisting on this and ensuring I had a good sleep. Thank you engineering as well for your effort! On my last day in Bali, unfortunately I fell really sick and I had to make a call to front office in hopes to extend my check out time. Dayu a front office manager assisted so very kindly and extending my check out timing. I was literally throwing up all morning. Dayu didn’t just extend my check out time, she was so sweet to ensure that I reach the airport on time to catch my time, knowing that I was running late. She also helped to assist with my luggage and also checked on me to make sure I wasn’t stuck in the airport alone and that I managed to catch the plane and landed safely in Singapore. Thank you so much Dayu, I truly appreciate your assistance and concern. Do keep in. Touch as I will be back to Bali! Overall, some may say that furama may seem a bit dated with regards to exterior/interior of the hotel. But furama is situated right in front of the beach, stretch of bars/restaurants just minutes walk you will be spoilt by choice, mini marts is only one minute walk away, and best of all, the hotel staffs are the most genuine people there! Great service and great hospitality! Even the restaurant staffs are awesome folks! I

The service we received from the minute we arrived was exceptional. The gardens, the view and the room were above and beyond what I was expecting. I spent 4 nights at Batu Karang for my honeymoon. The staff arranged a complimentary flower bath one night with was beautiful. The food at muntigs and the deck was some of the best we have eaten in bali. The only downfall is the view comes with a lot if stairs. But we didn't mind walking up all the stairs to our room. It made me feel better about all the delicious food I was eating. Plus they have golf buggys that will drive you up if you don't wanna walk the stairs. Highly recommend bat karang

Arrived late and were immediately upgraded to a bungalow room. The service at check in was quick and efficient and the rooms was just great. The bungalow rooms and like a small thatched house with your own verandah surrounded by lush green, gorgeous gardens full of the best smelling flowers ever. The breakfast was first class and the staff more than helpful. The restaurant for breakfast was so close to the beach you felt you were on it. The bed-chairs overlook the beach and are covered with orange umbrella's for the sun. Really great. The pools are clean and cool but don't forget your towel voucher as they are indeed strict. This was my third visit and I will be revisiting as soon as I possibly can. It is just so worthwhile and I have stayed in a few hotels in Bali but this is the one I will book next time.

I was impressed with the cleanliness - it was spotless. In my 8 nights there I did not see a single mosquito or spider so I was pleased about that. The air conditioner was fantastic as was the free WiFi - either on my own device or the computer they have available for guests to use. The linen was completely changed every day - not just tidied up. The room had everything I needed - the safe was fantastic, and although the shower was small that is a minor thing, but I would advise taking your own shower gel as they supply soap. The staff were fantastic, they were friendly and helpful to the point of nothing being too much trouble. The pool was great - clean and cold. The food in the restaurant is really nice and reasonably priced - I heard the pasta on pasta night was the best pasta my family had ever eaten. The hotel has a money changer that is regularly on site and I would recommend using them instead of risking the local money changers. I was never interrupted by noise and enjoyed the range of TV channels available. The on-site spa has well priced treatments and were enjoyed. On the down side the towels were a little scratchy but that's minor. The hotel is a little difficult for drivers to access as the street is very narrow, but they managed. Everything I needed was close by the hotel - just across the road is a laundry, deli (for bottled water etc) Ted's bar. Just around the corner is Warung Kapung ( cheap yummy food - please try the Mie Goreng and fruit juice all up $2.50 AUD) and on the corner to the Warung is a shop run by an elderly gentleman who has great souvenirs at a really good price. I plan to stay at this hotel again when I go back to Bali later this year.

We are newly couple and spent a week in Bali. H Sovereign Bali Hotel was our last accommodation before going home. Though we only stayed here one night, we had wonderful experience with its friendly and helpful staffs. As we arrived at the hotel in the morning, which was not the time yet to check in, we decided to book SPA service out of the hotel while waiting. The reception was very kind to help us calling for the SPA service and spent time to negotiate with the SPA service as we didn't book in advance even though it's not her job. Finally we had got a free pick up transportation from the SPA service and had a good SPA experience then got back to the hotel to check in. When we entered our room, there were two towel-geese sitting on the bed, and a lovely 'happy honeymoon' cake in the fridge which deeply surprised us. We truly appreciated their consideration and mindfulness which gave us a great experience and happy ending in our trip.

I have stayed in this hotel more than 5 times. In general, the staff are attentive, friendly and warm. For example; I was greeted by name before checking in. Everything runs with a system. Not much waiting required. I have stayed in 7 different 4* hotels in Bali and this is by far one of the best value for money and comfortable one. Located in a quieter spot in seminyak but 10 minutes drive from seminyak square. I like that because you don't hear loud music or traffic. Walls are generally thin so if your room is near the lift lobby, you can hear conversations or footsteps. Pick a room further away from the lift if you are a light sleeper. Service staff are generally nice and warm. They will provide assistance in a jiffy without having to wait Long. I avoid breakfast in the hotel not because it's not good but I love to venture cafes. The breakfast selection in the hotel is decent.

We had such an amazing time staying at this hotel, the staff are so friendly and welcoming, nothing is too much trouble for them and they greet you every time they see you in the hotel and ask how things are going. They have a free shuttle bus (minivan) that goes to many areas in kuta and drops you off wherever you'd like to go. This runs several times per day. The resort itself is beautiful, lovely gardens and landscaping, the pool has a swim up bar and is very clean, the room itself we stayed in was lovely too- massive bed, large sized room far enough away from pool to not be disturbed but not too far from amenities and restaurant. We enjoyed having wifi in our rooms to be able to upload our photos etc to Facebook from the comfort of our rooms, toiletries and water were replaced daily as required by housekeeping, really can't fault anyone or anything at this hotel. We had breakfast included in our package, and this varied every day, great selection of foods especially for a fussy vegetarian like myself, I never left the buffet room hungry! Thank you to all the staff who made our stay so wonderful for our first trip to Bali. We were travelling home to UK from Australia so may not get the chance to come back to Bali so we definitely feel they gave us the perfect stay to experience all the niceness Bali has to offer. Great hotel, fantastic staff and highly recommended - take me back!!!
