Batangas is a seaport. There's a large stretch of beach but all occupied by harbours, domestic or overpriced hotels.
Nice to travel to this city because we have an improved highway that we can easily access to any place we want to visit.
It's a quick escape from the city, although the more urbanized areas are already starting to have the usual problems like traffic.

It can become very difficult to book rooms in Batangas during summer because of companies that hold their annual outings.

Lipa City is a quiet and nice place, a good place near Manila City for relaxation, golf and beaches. there are already shopping center in the city the people are friendly and accommodating also the policemen were very helpful when you lost your way.
They say it's the 3rd among the highest elevated area in Luzon (1st is Baguio; 2nd is Tagaytay) thats why the climate is cooler.
People are very friendly, helpful and accommodating to travelers. A resident even offered her personal cellphone for use to contact our driver.
When you are at Batangas, try to visit their beaches because its really relaxing to stay.. And you don't need to travel so far to have a scuba diving or snorkeling and the likes.
