I stayed there for first time for three nights during a business trip. This is a typical business hotel, it was perfect location and close to cafe and kornesh The hotel is fresh with very modern and easy-going decoration. Breakfast is good, and friendly staff. i have been given an upgrade to suite with sea view. also the hotel did not charge on changing the date ...

I said before I left the hotel that, luxurious can be found anywhere but friendly staff all the time is difficult to find and keep. Hassan was the first one to welcome us. He was fully focus...

I had to organize a last-minute overnight stay in Beirut and came across this hotel in my (very rushed) internet search. I was greeted upon arrival with a cup of tea while I was checking-in. Just a small gesture, but it was a was very appreciated after all the rushing and chaos of the day. Room service was fast and food portions were very generous. It was better tha...

we arrived to Beirut and wanted to change our hotel, we found availability in ramada, and after making the booking by 30 minutes we arrived to the hotel. the hotel was almost full and we requested 2 rooms near each other, the receptionist (Marwa) was very helpful and did her best to get us 2 ready rooms right away on the same floor. the staff in general was very helpfu...

Checkin with a warm welcome & a smiling face from Mr. Samir. He made sure we have quick checkin and also asked us to get back to him anytime we need to have any queries on going around Beirut or other information. The room was beautiful as you will expect from Radisson Blu standard. Had great selection of breakfast compared to other hotels of same standard in stayed in...

riviera hotel in beirut is an amazing place to stay with gorgeous restaurants, nice service, friendly people. everybody is very helpful and nice. i loved the beach club, it has a great pool which has a bar in the water, it is really nice to relax there and have a cool drink. plus it becomes a night club in the evenings with great music and lots of party people. the bea...

i’m very disappointed, this is my favorite hotel in beirut and i always book directly through them. i booked this stay through your app and choosed grand deluxe room with balcony, when i reached i was surprised that you booked me a standard room. but what is written in the confirmation is grand deluxe. they told me that this is completely your mistake booking me the wr...

This was first time to Beirut and I was pleased with the location of this hotel. Staff was friendly and accommodating. The fitness center is basically non-existent as its dated old equipment and its not worth the time. Breakfast was simple, but enough to start the day.

A little hard to find the first time because of the lane it is inside and many hotels with the word suites in them around it. However, the location is actually very good, a stone's through from the most beautiful marina area, 5 mins from downtown and about 20 mins max from the airport. The staff are very friendly and cooperative. Breakfast is traditional lebanese and...

Located on Hamra Rd close to shops and restaurants and in the heart of the Muslim district this is a very well appointed hotel. Good internet, clean and spacious rooms and excellent breakfast which is served at the rooftop with a panoramic and sensational view of Beirut.

It's located in Achrafieh Are which is one of the most developed areas in beirut, it's 10 min away maximum from anywhere in the city (without traffic jam), and it's close to ABC mall too. The hotel is really clean and nice, and the staff is so friendly and helpful. It was a nice stay and experience.

This was a perfect hotel in the heart of all that is happening in Beirut. It is walking distance to Beirut University and other tourist attractions. There are food outlets right at your door step plus a sunset bar and a little cafe for morning coffee and some breakfast. This is independent to the hotel. For a solo female traveller in Beirut it was a great place to base...

the location is pretty good but the rooms need updating especially carpeting. they had just painted my room recently and the paint fumes were fairly overwhelming but they were painting everywhere so the paint smell was everywhere. the breakfast buffet was nice but not a traditional western style breakfast. nonetheless the olives and cheese varieties were very good. get...

Lovely vintage hotel in a great area. Staying at this hotel felt like going back in time. Some reviews complain about the dated rooms, but I found them really charming. It's easy to imagine that you're staying in Beirut in it's heyday in the 60's. Walking distance to loads of nice restaurants, cafes, and bars. About a 20 minute walk to pigeon rock. Breakfast is simple....

I would highly recommend Palm Beach for it's great location in central beirut... It is close to the downtown and to all the high end clubs in Beirut. The staff is all very pleasant and friendly and very glad to help at any time! The breakfast area at the India restaurant was also very satisfactory and at a decent hour. I must admit I was a bit disappointed with th...

Overall, it was pleasent stay, yet two days before our check out, they started renovations. The Hotel management kindly moved us to thier sister hotel, the Habtoor Grand; which though generally more expensive and bigger, we still preferred the Hilton. I booked this hotel because of its location, I wasn't expecting much, but from the moment checked in until my check out, I was impressed with this hotel my room was great and I think same applies on all the rooms, customer service is very good, they don't provide breakfast but they are very keen to help u out and get u whatever food u like from near by shops it is l...

I booked a single room but they gave me upgraded Room which is really big👍 It’s easy to walk out to beach of beirut. Stay was perfect and comfortable to stay(and clean of course) with ocean view. For me, breakfast buffet was not enough to enjoy but still Highly recommend!!( + airport pick up service for free.)
Staff are very friendly indeed. Hotel was only 1 month old (we visited July 2013). Design is Beirut kitsch boutique - so not my personal style but it was fun. It is a very handy location. Room was quiet, spacious and with a beautiful balcony. Lovely bathroom and lots of toiletries. Breakfast is Arabian and yummy. Tea & coffee making facilities in room. Huge downside (f...

Friendly, supportive, 24/7 staff. Excellent value for money. Great central location. Cosy and neat. Included breakfast was a bonus. I wouldn't hesitate to stay again for the reasons above. A complimentary room upgrade and (slightly) early check-in without any drama made for a great welcome to a first time visitor to Beirut! Thanks again for all!

I stayed in a very basic room in the Embassy Hotel in Beirut. The bathroom is poor. The staff adequately did there job without being overly friendly or welcoming. The hotel is in a great location in Hamra. It is an easy walk to shops, the corniche, or AUB etc At this price I would choose to stay at other hotels close by if I had the choice.

I made an online reservation and included upon payment that I need a room on a high floor and wanted a late check-out 3-4 PM What happened is that they gave me a room on the 2nd floor where the noise was unbearable, and the worst part is on my last day, the front desk lady stopped in the morning saying I have to leave at 1 PM max unless I want to extend my stay, later...

It is still the best deal in Beirut, mix of Design location at a very fair price. But this time my booking got screwed up, they ve been booked out and they transferred me to a bad hotel. But I will come back since mistakes happen and the Hotel as such is the best deal in Beirut

The hotel worked fine for us. The staff at the reception was helpful, the rooms very small but clean. Best of all was the location: walking distance to most places, a safe area of town, even at night time. It would have been nice to have a pool like other hotels in the neighborhood have.

The Regis Hotel was great for my first trip to Lebanon. The friendly, attentive staff could not have been nicer and made me feel right at home. In fact, the Regis was more like a guest house with a family atmosphere than just a hotel. I loved my stay so much I came back to the Regis again for several more days after visiting other parts of Lebanon. The Corniche is ...

The best thing about this apartment is it's location, 2 min away from El hamra street and 10 min from seafront. Staff is very helpful and welcoming, especially Khalil. The furniture is a bit old and kitchen material very limited. However, it wasn't much of a problem for us since we only slept there. Internet was spotty in the beginning, but the staff managed to arrange...

My friend and I stayed at Caramel before I left Lebanon and I loved everything about the hotel! I can’t rave enough about the decor and layout of the room. Super smart and sleek. The room was impeccably clean. Rooms were still being constructed when I stayed and there is a bit of noise from the bars on the street below but those didn’t bother me. The ice cream in the b...

nice room with very comfortable beds and a nice balcony as well as sound proof. the hotel is located in the heart of hamra, surrounded by shops and restaurants of all styles and prices and only 15 minutes away from downtown beirut. hotel highly recommended for its excellent value for money and suitable for all audiences

the room was clean more than my expectations, and the hotel staff were very friendly. the location of the hotel is great in the center of Beirut , being at the end of Hamra street is a good thing as you will not feel the noise of the center. The escalator is a little bit small but never mind it was a good experience.

The staff was a class of their own. They booked taxi, rented car, maintained free valet service and they cared for their customer's stay. Well it was the first time i went to Beirut. A friend advised me to stay in Hamra area as it is the lively "old" town part with lots of shops, bars and good atmosphere. we were a couple who stayed at the hotel. we were spending one night in beirut and the hotels were full, however this hotel offered a great value for money for a 4 star hotel. the brekfast buffet was rich and diverse, the room was clean and well furnished. the free wifi was of acceptable speed, the staff was friendly and helpful. so, all in all, the whole stay was plea...

In general this is a good hotel. The buffet breakfast is good with a wide selection but no bacon or pork sausages. However, there is ham available. we went there to do some work, the hotel provided all the needed services, and was great to use time left for us to see the city, i would recommend this hotel to my friends for sure, tip to the hotel owner: please renew your rooms and hotel design, your hotel could be one of the best in beirut with some attention!

The hotel was nice and clean. Rooms were spacious and had everything you needed. The breakfast was very good and had a good range. Location is a 5 minute drive from downtown and a couple hundred metres away from Hamra Street. If we were to visit Beirut again we would stay here again

There was a bloodstain on the bed, which was surprising as the hotel seemed to be very clean otherwise. The service was good, and staff were helpful. O Monot was wonderful! Close to restaurants, the waterfront, and amazing downtown shopping, it is a great value for the money and a true five star experience in Beirut. I particularly loved being welcomed after a long day of travel with a plate of macaroons !
Traveler impressions of Beirut
Fantastic food - from snack bars to fancy restaurants. Very clean city. Beautiful sea views. Lovely walks through Downtown neighborhoods and Hamra district.
Beirut is amazing, the vibrant city has so much to offer. There is so much to do in Beirut, it caters for people from all walks of life.
Once a gem of the Mediterranean, Beirut is now a shamble of a city. Though you can uncover the beauty of a glorious past, you cannot but feel sadness for a chaotic city with ruins everywhere, and not the good ancient ones.
An ancient city with plenty of sight seeing place. Lebanese is very friendly and the foods are superb.
What a wonderful city. You can get by cheap or you can spend a lot of money. You can have a great vacation for less, it is all up to where you are going to eat.
Very vibrant city. Great nightlife and eating out culture. Friendly people. great weather. Clean and gives a Mediterrannean feel.
Good atmosphere and good Arabian and Western food available. Excellent security and nice people too.
Very interesting place - the city centre is a crazy mix of bullet ridden abandoned buildings and spectacular new apartment blocks, interspersed with huge building sites.
