we enjoyed our trip in cameron highlands! glad we booked here, we slept through the night and the rooms were really nice and very very clean! hope to visit cameron highlands next time!

The sign of the hotel is not that visible from the entrance so you need to ask around to find it but the place was good for a short 2-day stay. Bring your own towels and soap as those are not provided. Luckily the temperature in Cameron Highlands is much cooler since there is no AC. Only a tiny little fan in the corner that does not rotate. It is close to the main street for food, atm, motorbike rentals, and the bus terminal. The staff was very friendly and helpful for tips on things to do in the area.

Excellent experience! The most standout part of this hostel for me was the staff. I mentioned prior that I'm very sensitive to stuffy rooms and if possible, to please give me a well ventilated room. Upon arrival I was given an icy cold room. Amazing. In general, everyone working was so eager to help out guests in any way possible. It made the environment super fun. The location is only a 5 minute walk from the bus station. The pillows are excellent. I had no issue with the bed, despite that it received many poor reviews. Slow WiFi, but that's the norm in Cameron Highlands everywhere. An amazing value and I would return.

+ I ve been 2 day at here and I totally recommend anyone who want to stay hostel in Cameron Highland. It was best located in area which is nearest Bus station and trails trekking. + 5 stars for staff services , Laundry is supper cheap deal (5MYR) + warm Bath is good at Bathroom. - these only thing about Address name I was not comfortable. Cause I Had to ask local where was the square to find out hostel. ( should have big BillBroad as Sleepboxes They Did. Thanks.

This hotel is located at the town of Tanah Rata, the city center of Cameron Highlands. Grocery shops are available nearby. Food is everywhere. Very good location indeed. If you need to go around Cameron Highlands, ask for the tour guide downstairs. Hotel staff (especially the old Indian uncle as receptionist) is very friendly and welcoming. He even helped us to solve the electric socket problem immediately. At midnight, when we need extra bed matress, he helped us with smile. 5 star for his excellent service ! The rooms are very cozy, clean, simply nice to stay. There is even a balcony for our room. Really value for money. Wifi is working well and quite fast. There is free tea making area at the living room with sofa and tv and dvd player. Feeling like you are at home. Will recommend this hotel for everyone. You make our stay at Cameron Highlands very meaningful. Thank you.

Cameron Highlands has a new regulation on parking. You would need to get parking coupons and they are to be used every day, from 8-6pm so I suggest you leave a coupon or two for the next day beforehand in your car just to be safe (in case if you don't wake up early to put in a fresh coupon for the day). My friends stayed in Silverstar Hotel across the street and they do not recommend there at all. I would recommend you reading their review. Although I stayed in a dorm, it was very comfortable. There were 4 of us in the room and the shower outside was decent. There's even a microwave, a fridge and some refreshments (coffee/tea packets) which I was told from my friends that Silverstar does not provide. The receptionist are super friendly and helpful and if you are students like me, staying here in a dorm is just perfectly fine! I even got my room deal for RM18 (used AgodaCash redemption). So a hot shower, WIFI, friendly staff and comfy bed for RM18? Thats a big yes!!!

I had a double room which was basic but clean and all I needed for a few days. They provided towels, the ensuite bathroom was a wet room with the shower over the toilet. There was a small balcony looking over an alley but the door left half an inch gap at the bottom when closed, even though I was concerned with bugs it didn't actually cause any problems. For the price this is an OK place to lay your head after busy days touring the Cameron Highlands

We booked a family dorm for 5 pax with only 210RM (~50 USD). It is a reasonable cost for staying at Cameron Highlands. The room is clean. The host is very friendly and nice. We all love their cute childrens (Mia and Adam). We are really happy and satisfied to stay here. We highly recommend this hotel to everyone for staying when traveling at Cameon Highlands.

I travelled with my elderly mother for the first time to Cameron highlands and had originally booked twin shared bath bedroom thinking that would be enough and price was on budget too. After looking over the room I realised it was too small for our stay and luggage. We asked for double bed attached toilet upgrade and Yemin who were checking us in kindly showed available rooms then suggested to take the family room. It had twin single and one double bed but he arranged it for us at double bed attached room rate. With a few more extra ringgit we had really enjoyable stay for the night there. Total guesthouse is really tidy and neat, on both top and ground floor has open space with sofa,television where one can just chat around. At night every guests maintained a quiet environment which is great for a good night sleep after a long bus journey. He also arranged our next day half day tour, purchased tickets to next place. we were running out of time for bus after our half day tour and lunch so he even brought our luggages and tickets at the bus terminal. Overall I got more satisfying service with a home like environment and nothing to say bad. Toilet,shower and mountain views are better originally than Agoda pictures. I highly recommend this place for either family / backpacker/ couple if you are looking for a good place to stay in Tanah rata with peace, in budget with good environment and also close to bus stoppages.

De Native Guesthouse is a quiet, beautiful place surrounded by nature. The owner is a really nice person and helps whenever you have a problem. Sometimes he cooks delicious meals and drinks a few beers at a campfire with all of his guests. There are five dogs, they are very cute and you can play with them. We slept in one of the comfortable chalets with a big bathroom and a hot shower, you really gonna need it in the Cameron Highlands. If you are looking for a nice Backpacker experience and like to get in touch with some locals you should definitely stay there a couple of nights. We fell in love with this place! I can definitely recommend this place to everyone! Sleeping at the small houses facing the strawberry fields is the adventure itself. Best place in Cameron Highlands!

Totally worth for the budget and the location is the center of attraction in cameron highlands. The staff were friendly and were even kind enough to provide a free map of the locations which is usually sold.

The Cameron Highlands aren't the cheapest place in Malaysia to stay, but this hotel is really good value for money in comparison to some other places we looked at. It's small and quaint, we had the double room with private bathroom and it was a good size with a window to outside (I think the shared bathroom rooms have a window into the hallway). The shower was good pressure and there was always hot water which is nice in the cooler temperatures, the bed was comfy too. We loved the garden area, we are our breakfast out there and then relaxed on the sun chairs, some really pretty flowers too. Yen, the host, is really helpful and there's good maps of nearby jungle treks in reception (you need to be FIT to do these treks!) Only negative is the Wi-Fi. While I don't mind not having Wi-Fi in the room, it was still really bad in public areas and people were competing for it. For people like ourselves planning our onward journey, we didn't find the Wi-Fi good enough at all.

This is my second stay at Double Stars. Love it for the budget price, cleanliness and location. This time we got a windowless room with fan, which can be pretty stuffy albeit the cool air in Cameron Highlands. Room is small, perhaps best suited for a single traveler rather than two, but it was comfortable nonetheless. Will come again soon.

Had a great stay in Cameron Highlands thanks to the place that I was staying. It is located strategically near a night market that sells all the souvenirs and merchandise that you should get from Cameron Highlands. Parking could be a little bit of a hassle if you got there late. But overall, it is a good location to stay especially if you are coming with a big family.

The Apartment was very clean and neat. There is a play area for kids. I am very happy and lucky the owner upgraded my apartment which is more bigger than what have i booked. Everything was clean but they did not provide tissue and towels so better bring your own towels and tissue. The balcony is quite dirt with dusk maybe because of the raining season. But overall, I love it.

If what you're looking for is a cheap, clean place to stay while in Cameron Highlands, Hillview Inn offers a value proposition that is hard to beat. Midway between a hostel and motel, it's extremely basic but clean and pleasant. Nothing much in the way of facilities but where it scores over almost every other hotel in Cameron Highlands is the comprehensive tour and activity choices it offers to guests. Ideal for young adventurers and backpackers..... and those who just want a place to sleep and use as a base of operations. Less of a good idea for those who want more out of their hotel.

This is our second stay at this hotel. We got a triple room on second floor. Love the balcony and view. The room is clean as usual, but the water heater switch and shower drain are a bit problematic. It's slightly far from the shops and night market, but if you enjoy walking in the cool weather, it's not a big deal. The parking space available outside the building and the cleanliness make it our favourite hotel in Cameron Highlands.

Snooze Hotel is the best hotel that I ever stay in Cameron Highlands. I had went to cameron highlands for 5 times and this is the best and cheaper hotel that I stayed. The hotel location is at Brinchang, just a few walks from KFC, security is good (need assess card to enter hotel), just it dont have lift and a bit difficult for elder people. However, once u step in, the design and cleanliness will attract u. Room is big and clean, bathroom is big too. Every floor there is a common area for u to watch TV, online, and have brand new water dispenser for you. From the hotel step out, restaurant is available anywhere, night market is nearby. Highly recommended if u go cameron highlands!!

We enjoyed our stay at this guest house, despite the mold that comes with an old place in a humid environment. However, at the request of the owner we are including information about something that happened during our time in Tanah Rata. While hiking on Trail 4 between Century Pines Resort and the Chimp Cameron Highlands Montane Park we were both sexually assaulted by an Indian man. He was hiking the same direction as us but had stopped to urinate on the trail ahead of us, so we stopped to give him some privacy. He decided to turn around and head toward us once he finished and when he did, he grabbed my partner between the legs. She turned and yelled at him to stop, which led him to pull out his penis and proceed toward us again. After several minutes, we convinced him to put it away and leave us alone, so then he left. We ran in the opposite direction. We informed the guest house about this when we returned, and were told that another woman had been attacked on trail 5 the previous year. There have also been rumors of other assaults. If you are a woman visiting the Cameron Highlands, please be extremely cautious. We were two women hiking and still weren’t safe, so if you want to hike, go with a large group and never go alone. The guest house owner is very knowledgeable about which trails are safe, and was very kind when we told him about what happened to us. We felt very safe staying there, and would recommend it to other women and travelers looking to visit Tanah Rata.

Not many family suite can be found among the hotel in Cameron but Hotel Pop Ash is one of the very few. It's located in a very strategic place, walking distance to the Brinchang Night Market. The receptionist is from KL not local and little knowledge of the Place of Interest in Cameron. Hopefully she will be more knowledgeable after a longer stay and able to recommend places for the tourist.

This is my fourth time in Cameron Highlands, I chose Parkland to stay as i got the best price. Parkland Hotel located in the best location of Cameron highlands. It's a small hotel in the main town which is everything's there. Restaurant nearby to have good steamboat for your dinner. And ten minutes drive to local morning market to grab some fresh fruit( sweet corn is highly recommended) and ten minutes away by car to tea shop to have breakfast. Walk distance to minimarts. Check in: the lady at the reception was nice and friendly. Check in was very easy and local. Room: clean and superb. Comfortable bed and great hot water shower to suit Cameron temperature. Car parking: needed more space. Check out: easy and swift. Overall was awesome!! Highly recommended to our friends. Tips: Hotel requires RM50 for deposit per room. Good restaurant could be advised by hotel staff. Hairdryer provided in room, iron and ironing board available on the 1st floor. Free wifi through hotel.

I need a transit accommodation since I had to go to Kelantan the next day, so Cameron Highlands is the place. The staffs are okay but I had to really look for a parking since it is by the road side and people tend to double park. Really had a hard time sleeping since what ever happens on the streets can be easily be heard, even what ever my neighbours is doing.

This place is neat and clean, centrally located and apparently recently renovated. The rooms are not very big, but the bathrooms are quite voluminous. Wifi works well, but only 4 channels on TV. There is no mosquito screen on the windows and no other ventilation in the rooms, so either the room gets very stuffy or you spend the night battling with mosquitoes, which is a way to pass the time since the beds are so uncomfortable you can hope for a fitful sleep at best. We changed rooms an even looked at a few more, but all the beds seems to be of the same quality, presumably second-hand from another hotel. The mattresses are something like a topographical depiction of the Cameron Highlands, with undulating peaks and valleys. Back aches guaranteed. If it was a cheap place it might be acceptable, but for the price charged one would expect a comfortable bed at least. On the plus side, the pillows are comfortable and the sheets are clean. But unless the mattresses are replaced I would not recommend staying here at all. It really is a pity, because the beds are the only major downside, but when you pay for a hotel room you expect to be able to sleep. Please change your mattresses Zermatt and install either fans or mosquito screens on the window.

Although we didnt spend a lot of time in the hotel, the time we spent there was a pleasant one. The only negative point about the room was that there was a little bit of damp feeling and smell as there was no window for our room open to the exterior. Anyway, it was not a big problem and it should be expected considering the climate in Cameron Highlands.

The location of the hotel is very strategic. It is at the center of Cameron Highland. It is surrounded with whole lot of restaurants, shops and a lot more. You can even walk to these places. They have their own restaurant located downstairs which you can place an order and request them to be delivered to your room as well.

pro : kebersihan ok & memuaskan. berdekatan dgn kedai mkn,atm,pam minyak & tempat menarik di cameron highlands.. kontra: lif kecil hanye muat 2-3 orang sahaja.bila hari weekends ramai check in, internet access jadi slow sangat.kami check in hari jumaat,masa tu internet laju lagi..parking limited sbb hotel area shop lots..sape cepat,dapat la parking..kihkih.. ape pun berbaloi dgn harga bayar.puas hati.

Located in the town center of Brincang. Simple but comfortable room. I have been here a few times booking the same hotel. The price is Ok for a family room for 5 person. But every year there will be price increase. Parking is a problem but once you get it do not move or it will be taken away by another car. RM0.60 is charged every hour from 0800 am till 1800 hrs daily including Saturdays & Sundays & make sure to get ready your parking tickets as the enforcement team is very efficient in issuing summons. Food is not a problem as there are many restaurants at walking distance. Maybe due to dry spell, during my visit it was not cold at all in the afternoons. Morning and night is ok. Overall a recommended hotel for a short stay in Cameron Highlands.
