"La Siesta has a few locations in Hanoi. Hotel Trendy is rated the best. It is located in a central location to the market, restaurants, and shopping. The Deluxe Cozy room is accommodating, but a bit smaller. Some rooms do not have a view/window. I do not think this is atypical since it is in "the city" and is built up rather than "wide". The staff are wonderful to meet all the guests needs/requests. Red Bean restaurant serves great food, but it is more "Asian/Fusion or Western" rather than more local Hanoi food. Highly recommend the breakfast buffet. "

Staff are young, English speakers. The hotel arranged our Ha Long Bay overnight tour _ cheaper than agencies on the street!"

"My experience with Lotte Hotel Hanoi has been nothing short of perfect ever since I made the decision to book a room. Everyone at the hotel seems to go out of their way to make your special occasion even better. As soon as I got to the hotel I was blown away by the view. It's one thing to imagine it but it's another thing altogether to get, what is perhaps, the best view in Hanoi from what might be the most luxurious hotel in Hanoi. The service is absolutely impeccable from everyone in the hotel but I do need to specially point out Ms. Ngan, Mr. Dat Tan Nguyen and every one of the Reservation Sales Agents I talked to for doing an exceptional job. They go out of their way to ensure you have the best time possible."

The Hotel's breakfast and the food served at their restaurant is very delicious. The room was always clean and tidy. The Hotel staff are very attentive and helpful . They even assist us in carrying our luggage in and out of the Hotel. Thanks to Nicole from the Front desk who always find time to give us the Best Options. "Both the facilities and room in this hotel are excellent, clean, and a great value. The location is perfect in the heart of Old Hanoi. But it truly is the people who work here, who make it the best hotel in Hanoi. They are incredibly helpful, genuine, kind, and work extremely hard to make each visit special. In particular, Kate is an absolute star and has gone above and beyond in her duties from check in to departure to make our trip simply outstanding. When we return to Hanoi, we will be staying here again - highly recommended to all travelers. "

More about Hanoi

Hanoi is an elegant blend of old Vietnam and modern times, making it one of Southeast Asia’s most unique cities. From the local cafés with a hint of Parisian grace to the motorcycles that weave through a maze of streets in the old quarter, the city is a feast for the senses. Whether it's strolling along the banks of Hoan Kiem Lake or pausing to reflect on a millennium-old pagoda, Hanoi is the type of city that encourages visitors to slow down and enjoy their day.

In West Hanoi, Ba Dinh District is home to several museums and Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum. A few hotels in this area flank the 11th-century One-Pillar Pagoda.

A walking tour of the old quarter is a must while visiting Hanoi. This maze of alleyways dates back to the 1200s and hides many interesting sites. Bach Ma Temple is the most important temple in the area. Across from this historic structure are a series of museums and sites related to Ho Chi Minh.

East Hanoi's Hai Ba Trung District is now known for its university scene and nightlife.

Noi Bai International Airport is Hanoi's international gateway, with flights connecting to cities across Southeast Asia.
