Very good location, its at the central of everything. The best hotel in Hat Yai. Breakfast was the best of all the hotels in Hat Yai, But still a bit lower than many of the 4 star hotels in Thailand. If you just want to do shopping in Hat Yai, this is the hotel you are look for. The friendly staff will be able to help for your needs in Hat Yai.

Great Location in central of Hat Yai, very easy to find this hotel from any where just call tuk tuk (Hat Yai cheaper transfortation), surrounding hotel there are plenty food stall especially for week end starting friday to sunday there are night food market and also very close to shoping area... I will stay in this hotel anymore when visit Hat yai

We have an unexpected positive experience with the New Season Hotel. Hat Yai was not our original route on our vacation but we had to be there due to closures of the airports in Bangkok. After driving about 1,000 miles from Chiangmai destined to catch a flight from Penang, Malaysia to Singapore to board our rerouted return flight home to Seattle, we had to spend a night in Hat Yai to catch a taxi from there into Malaysia. Unfortunately, the city was flooded due to late night storm and taxi could not pick us up at the hotel. The hotel management helped us above and beyond they were expected to do to get us to the safer route so we can get to our destination. It is very impressive and unexpected. This is a quality that distinguishes the New Season from its competitors in the same market. Their facilities, foods, and services are great. Since there are many hotels in town, you may feel that the other hotels can provide the same services. The experience we are sharing with you here is one thing we can say we had at the New Season but not sure whether others can match with it. We will sure stay at the New Season again on our next trip to support their services we hardly get from most hotels. Please give the New Season a try when visiting Hat Yai.

I was traveling with my parents as well as my wife and her parents. We booked 2 grand room for 6 person, we were surprised by the spacious and clean rooms! The double bed is comfortable (medium hard, but to me & my parents' liking). The sofa bed is a bit too soft for me, but don't let the name fools you, it's just a big as a super single bed. First time ever in my life I have to say I have too many pillows on my bed (not complaining!). Toilet is big and comfortable to move around, it's link to a small changing room as well. 1 thing though, no door to separate the shower room and toilet bowl, making it a bit inconvenient when 1 person need to shower while another one need to use the toilet. Staffs were very helpful. We were not familiar with the surrounding of Hat Yai, and they provided us with many info and tips to get around places. They do speak english, and they probably speak the language better than my parents. 1 extra thing to mention, is that they have a small parking space for people who drive. I estimated 5-6 parking slot, just down the alley beside the hotel (2-3 mins walk). Please do let them know if you drive. With the quality and location of the hotel, I can easily say it was worth the money. Only 10 mins walk to Lee Garden where you can find good food & drink, massage and shopping!

When I made the reservation went on what Agoda showed as the facility's quality. They were right. From a great room with all the necessary appointments to one of the best elevators made, the facility exceeded all our expectations. Parking under the hotel was limited but right across the street was a full hotel lot. Their breakfast fare was just adequate, did include omelettes made on demand. Their wireless was more than adequate. We did not use them, but the hotel had an exercise facility fully equipped and a swimming pool. It was situation in the heart of Hat Yai.

This hotel is simply one of the best hotel in Hat Yai, we were greeted by polite and friendly reception staff, and enjoyed each moment here as travellers. They do not provide water bottles, which was a let down but there was a water dispenser at corridor. It’s a walking distance hotel to many places such as the night market, lee garden plaza and many street food market. Overall, we had a pleasant stay at this hotel and would come back again. Pro tip: if you want to book a cab, use grab in Thailand and do not book cabs at this hotel reception since they overcharge you. And always book ahead in Agoda at least one month before your trip for special discounts.

- Location superb! Got many halal Food in Hotel area. - easy to get tuk tuk, but I recommend to use Grab tuktuk. -The room was very clean and nice - So many channel on the tv and the signal very clear. -The bed very good. - Spacious room - I book 6 room in Agoda (2 Double bed and 4 Twin Bed), come in Hotel at 12:30pm. The staff said if still want Double Bed, i will get different floor with the others and only available check in 2 pm. So just agree all Twin Bed and check in earlier. I am ok with that. no problem. - The staff are so efficient and prompt action. All the check in and check out process running smooth. Very good! - will stay here again if come to Hat Yai. - Toilet very clean.

Good location, out of busy town but very close to town, clean and spacious room. good service by staffs, standard breakfast as hat u get in most hotels in Thailand. Good Wi-Fi coverage and still accessible by Malaysian phone networks. room comes with balcony and it has great views from the rooms.

I was there for 6 nights, after first night I need too changed rooms,,too noisy for me I am a light sleeper haha,,it was all done within 10 minutes,,every day room was cleaned.. High stander,,in room safe does not work,so use safe in reception very easy an securi,,Wifi fast no problem in room or lobby,,next time in hat yai I will stay in this hotel,,,All the staff did there work in a professional manner.

The front office clerks was kind and respectful. The place was abit far to the lee garden area. But it is hat yai so everywhere is close plus there is grab. There is no breakfast but there is a lounge where you can serve yourself a cereal,toast,juices,teas,snacks and etc. The lounge have different type os food/snacks on a different time. We book the family suite and the toilet bowl was fantastic. It was quite big balcony. The TV Channel were perfect. There was hot water,mineral water,towels,fridge. It was clean. I think its the best hotel hat yai can offer. As other hotels in hat yai are pretty creppy,old,dark and dirty. This was the best. Hence i totally recommend. It was a lovely stay. Thank you.

Hat Yai itself is an absloute hole of a place and I was only there as I flew into Hat Yai Airport on my way to the Island of Koh Lipe and as there's just one boat a day to the Island I had to stop on Hat Yai overnight. The choice of Hotels is unsurprisingly limited due to Hat Yai being such a horrid place - there's simply not much demand, especially for any sort of quality accommodation. However, the Buri Sriphu is a bit of a beacon of quality amidst the squalor & flith of Hat Yai. It's modern, fairly new, clean, tidy, well run & managed & very good value. My double room was very large, with an enormous bed, big windows (although Hat Yai being so hideous best not to look out of it much!) and huge Bathroom with both a large walk-in Shower and a separate Bath. Breakfast was simple but plentfiul. If you're European and want a European-style B'fast then it won't be much use as it's local dishes - but you can make toast. The Hotel is situated on a main road but well set back and in your room there's no traffic noise to be heard. I would strongly advise that you NOT venture out AT ALL at night and even if you do during the day get a tuk-tuk or a Cab wherever you're going. At night Hat Yai is infamous for it's Rat population coming out in force and the gnarled wild dogs kind of take over the streets (and fight each other all night long by the sounds of it) - so at the risk of sounding like a paranoid loon don't go out at night. In fact one night I ventured along the sweeping driveway in front of the Hotel just to look again at the hideous surroundings and wild dogs roaming the streets and the Hotel Security Guard came rushing out and ushered me back in. That tells you everything you need to know. Oh, and I did venture out on foot during the day a very short distance to a nearby 'Mall' called Diana to see what clothes were available and the prices in this place were astronomical, unless you go to one of the deeply unattractive open markets don't go looking for bargains!

One of my favorite hotel in Hat Yai on a prime location. To go shopping or movies at Central Festival Hat Yai just across the street. Clean room, friendly staff, good breakfast at special rate offer on Agoda!

We arrived by train from Malaysia early in the morning and the hotel receptionist very kindly allowed us to check in. She also drew a map for us to the best Thai beef noodle shop near our hotel. We followed her simple map, made a few wrong turns, asked a few local stall holders and shop keepers and eventually found the famous Thai beef noodles in a corner shop opposite the BP Grand Tower hotel ! What a treat for us, it was the best beef noodles dish we had ever tasted in Thailand. We went back to eat the same beef noodles every afternoon during our time in Hat Yai. The hotel breakfasts were surprisingly good, we particularly liked the American breakfast. All in all, we had a VERY NICE stay at the Golden Crown Plaza Hotel. We will definitely stay in this hotel again in August when we travel to Hat Yai for another holiday.

Situated just outside the Train Station. Staff was friendly all the way through. Even showed me where the toilets are and how to access the lockers. Pillow, Blankets and Towel are stored at the individual lockers. One of the staff even helped me bring it to my bunk. The rooms, toilets,halls, lobby was very clean. The bed was a little hard but for me I believe perfect due to my spine condition. the pillow and blankets were the best and comfortable. Point for the owners to note, both the doors for the male toilet and shower room were unable to latch ! I had difficulty with that in the morning, thank God no one was around hahaha !! Access to the dorms are via your keycard which is given to you upon check-in. This keeps away unwanted outsiders from gaining access. I enjoyed the courteousness from the staff. I enquired about a certain tour company's location to which they searched it up immediately and even enquired from a passer-by as to where it is situated. Definitely will be back in Hat Yai again to stay at this place !!! Kudos

Aloha Hotel is a brand new hotel well located in Hat Yai, and within walking distance to the major shopping belt & local markets, such as Lee Garden Plaza & Kim Yong Market. The hotel lobby set-up is simple and clean. We reached Aloha Hotel at about 10.30am on our first day in Hat Yai and were allowed to check in early. We were also able to have late check-out at 2pm upon request on our last day of stay. Both check-in and out procedures were swift and took not more than 5 mins each. The double bed room which we booked was found to be very clean and well kept, and the bed was comfortable. Overall, it is a good choice and strongly recommended.

First time staying at this hotel, very chic looking and neat. 7- 11 was nearby and thus makes it very convenient to get late night drinks or snacks. Breakfast at hotel was minimal but sufficient for us. The basil pork they cooked was amazing though! Hotel facilities like the gym was shared with outsiders so one might wanna come at odd hours instead. It was relatively crowded when we went by in the morning. Swimming pool was surprisingly quiet throughout our stay. We ordered room service but our request for additional bowls was charged an additional 50bhat on top of our orders. A little upsetting as I had ordered room service and was just requesting for one additional set of bowl. So do take note :) We had quite a bit of problems with ants in our room. Despite keeping all our food items and placing them on our table, the ants managed to find their way to it and into our food. We end up having to dispose of all our unfinished items. Hope the hotel could find some ways to deal with the pest control problem. Hotel was rather convenient to walk to the city center, about 15mins walk away. Tuk Tuk and motorbike taxi drivers were aplenty but we did not take them so not sure how they charge. But it’s a relatively easy walk so would suggest guest to walk around too and explore Hat Yai. You would find hidden gems around this quiet neighbourhood :) We will be back and thanks for the pleasant stay S Hadyai!

I stayed in the Grand Classic room for about 2,000 THB per night w/o breakfast. It's at the high end for a double room in Hat Yai. The hotel is about a 15 minute walk to the Odean Shopping Mall. There is a nice morning market about a 5 minute walk away and there are many hawker stalls and restaurants serving food at night about 5 or 10 minutes away. The facility includes a nice cafe and a common area library. It is quite relaxed and quiet on the hotel grounds. The room is very spacious, using lots of wood and stone to create a very pleasant atmosphere. It is well equipped and snacks and drinks are complimentary. The bathroom is very large. The staff are highly attentive. I was permitted to check-in early, which I appreciated. While it lacks some facilities, like a pool or a spa of the big hotel, it excels in providing a calm and pleasant environment to compliment your stay in Hat Yai

there is nothing like a good bed to sleep in after a hard days traveling. we were so happy when we go to the v.l. hatyai hotel in hat yai. it was a measly three blocks from the hat yai train station, up a road that had perfect side walks for walking people. the reception at v.l hatyai hotel was fantastic. people were happy, smiling, and most were able to speak english. the language barrier isn’t normally an important feature for us but after a very long day in minivans, ferries, buses, songteaws and on our feet it was a lovely surprise. we had booked our night in the v.l. hatyai hotel because of tripadvisor’s reviews and through agoda, who offered a very good rate for the room without breakfast. the room alone cost just under $30 usd without breakfast. when we enquired about the breakfast it would cost us 100 baht each, a whole $3 usd each. it was a fine breakfast too. bacon and eggs, yummy bread for toast, asian savoury delights, the makings for tuna salad, coffee, tea and milo, and for breakfast-dessert, bbq’d sticky banana rice in banana leaves. mmm! as we were so tired on the night of our stay we got room service. this is not ordinary for us but when we looked at the menu in our room the prices were so reasonable we didn’t feel the need to find a street food stall! how could a room service tuna salad only cost 80 baht? unheard of in a hotel. we ordered room service, pigged out on glorious food and watched english language television all night. the only downfall the v.l. hat yai had was that you had to purchase wifi / internet. the cost was reasonable, 20 baht for 24 hours of usage. if you could get it working that is. we found that the wifi worked best down in the lobby. all in all, the v.l. hat yai was a fantastic hotel. we really do recommend you consider staying there for one or two nights on your travels. break up that marathon journey between thailand and malaysia. you won’t regret it.

stayed for 3 days 2 night and i love this hotel very much. clean hotel and very friendly staff. hope there is breakfast provided inside the rates but its still my favourite hotel. location is very good too for shopping. i will sray here again whenever i cone hat yai =) good work guys.

This brand new hotel is at walking distance to the Diana Shopping Complex (5 mins), the Asean Night Bazaar (10 mins), the Central Festival Mall (15 mins) and the Odean Shopping Mall (20 mins) but overall is a bit unfriendly for guests without their own transport. The restaurant has good value breakfast (150 THB) and lunch (200 THB) buffets with a pretty wide selection of food and beverages. The spa provides massage at a reasonable price. The room was very spacious with a big window providing an expansive view of Hat Yai. The room decor is modern and colorful, but the dated bathroom fixtures were out of keeping with the rest of the furnishings. There was a bit of street noise from the busy, four lane road the hotel sits beside, but if you run the A/C fan, it is not too noticeable. The staff was courteous and professional. Value for money was very good compared to similar Hat Yai hotels.

We are totally satisfied during our 3 days 2 nights stay in The Smart Hotel Hat Yai. All staffs are friendly & very helpful with superb shuttle services. During our first night exploring Hat Yai, we called the hotel for shuttle service to return to hotel from Asean Market. Although we had mistakenly waiting at the wrong location, the hotel staff had done a great job to search & safely bring us back to hotel. The room cleanliness, comfort & facilities almost similar to the 5 stars hotel in Malaysia. Surely will coming back to this hotel for future visit to Hat Yai. Syu, Malaysia (Dec 2018)

Overall, I really enjoyed my two nights at Asian Hotel. It was easy for the taxi driver to find it since it located in the heart of Hat Yai. The lobby is pleasant and nicely decorated. The check-in and check-out was smooth and done efficiently. You are given the choice to leave your passport or a deposit. I chose the deposit since I'm not comfortable with leaving my passport. When I checked out I got my deposit back. The hotel is within walking distance from well-known local market, Starbucks, McDonalds, KFC, Tops Market (Centara Hotel), Sizzlers and other western restaurants. Of course, if you want to try some of the Thai or Chinese cuisine, we can find them really close by as well. You can easily find taxis/songtews in front of the hotel...but if you know your way around Hat Yai or you can speak some Thai, you can get the songtews (pick-up trucks) for 10B to Central Festival Mall (20-30 minutes ride with the stops). The room was very clean and the beds were comfortable. The bathroom was also clean...my room had a bathtub and it a great surprise. Unfortunately, the water pressure was on and off! At times, the water would go from hot to cold in a split second... The internet signal was a bit weak at times. I had to wait for a less busy time or go to the lobby for a better signal. The breakfast experience was good. Although the coffee was a little bit bitter, they have a good variety of fruits (sweet pineapples, watermelons), toast, rice, hot dogs, eggs (made to order)...it seems like it is the breakfast spot in Hat Yai. Several people were eating there (from other hotels). The following day I went early to beat the crowd... The only negative was being approached by a bellboy about a "lady companion" on my first day. On the last night, my business partner was approached (by a different bellboy) and asked if he wanted a companion. Not sure what was going on...hopefully, this type of thing is not approved by the hotel manager.

The best hotel ever I stayed in Hat Yai. Strategic location with plenty of nice restaurants nearby and 7-11 beside it, spacious parking space, modern and elegant design, reasonable room rates, clean hotel with speedy internet connection. One word to describe - awesome!

We were staying in Hat Yai for only one night and had arrived after a long train ride from Penang. It took about five minutes by cab to the hotel and we were pleasantly surprised considering the low price. The bell boy took our luggage to our room which was huge with a king bed that was so good to sleep on. There was a minibar, the bathroom was clean and well equipped. The next day, reception organised a bus to Krabi town for us and made everything easy. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

This place is nice (or very nice) for a short or long stay at Hat Yai. It's location is the best! Lee Gardens Plaza is 2 mins walking distance, 7Eleven, Halal restaurants (Salma, Hamid Restaurant etc.), money changer are all nearby! Kimyong Market is around 10 mins walking distance. The standard room for 2 pax is really spacious with king bed. Paid another 100baht for one additional pax. Though they didn't provide extra bed, they provided the additional pax with pillow and towel which is good enough. The room and shower are really nice with the minimal theme. Everything is nice! I wouldn't mind to stay here again next time.

Z Sleep Hotel is located next to Festival Shopping Central. This hotel is super clean , comfort and the space is very big. All the staff is polite and helpful, they willing to solve all the communication problem between us and the local driver (Tuk Tuk Driver) and the price is reasonable + cheap! The Wifi access is very stable and strong. The only defective thing is lack of hair dryer in each of the room (But you can borrow from receptionist counter ). I'm strongly recommend this hotel to everyone who going to Hat Yai and I'll choose this Hotel for my next visit again. Thank you!
