Traveling to China? Find Hefei hotels

This is by far the best Crowne Plaza I've been to. That was an expected surprise considering I was in Hefei China. The building is quite new, and it's very pretty at night. The room was excellent. It was modern and decorated with all sorts of nice art work. I'm pretty sure it's the best hotel in Hefei, and the price was very cheap.

Come to Hefei twice a year. Tried all the hotels around. Novotel is the best one so far we stay. Will definitely stay next time. Good location, very close to mall.

we accidently had to stay the night in Hefei after missing a bus and were a bit stranded, when lo, we saw the neon green of the holiday inn sign amidst the unfamiliar and daunting facade of inner hefei at night and were saved. A good shower, some room service and a sleep and we were fine. A familiar brand with familiar service, maybe not your first choice, but on this occasion, genius.

We spent 2 nights in this hote and have had a comfortable stay. The interior and the furniture in the room are of high standard and tasteful. However we considered the foods in both the cafeteria and the Chinese restaurant are not up to a 5-star standard.

Found a lot of long hair in the bathroom, on the toilet seat, which obviously not mine because i have short hair...

Love the open kitchen and living room which provide me space to read and work, and to cook our own food when my friend were still taking a nap in the bedroom after her early flight to Hefei. By the way, the male staff at the reception who handled my check-in after midnight and the lady housekeeper on 17th floor were very friendly and helpful. Thank you!

Arriving at this hotel one is met by courteous staff who guide you to check-in and whisk you to your room. The check-in was smooth and efficient. I had booked a King Hilton Deluxe Hot Deal and was shown to a beautiful room on the executive floors where one can access complimentary afternoon tea and soft drinks and complimentary breakfast in the private executive restaurant. Soon after settling into my room a smiling and courteous chamber person turned down my bed and checked I had all the towels. Complimentary internet access meant I could get on with my work without delay. I will definitely stay at this hotel on my next visit to Hefei.

We stayed at the hotel only one night and had a great stay! the room was super comfy and the brunch, which was not that expensive (kids younger than 6 eat free) was excellent.

Staff can't speak English except reception only. Nice bedroom. Good quality bed and pillows. Yummy breakfast. Fast check-in and check-out. Friendly staff. I will return to this hotel again.

I chose this hotel because it was reasonably priced but advertised itself as four star. I knew because it wasn't a western chain there wouldn't be a lot of english spoken, but everything worked out without major problems of delays. Rooms are very clean and well appointed. Breakfast is an extensive buffet and even the most fussy westerners could find lots of choices. The only thing that was bad was coffee in the lobby, I recommend the starbucks down the street.

If you have business in Bin Hu this is your hotel, but commuting downtown is a bit far with the traffic. Reasonable breakfast buffet and nice beds and linens.

The location, price and outside decorations are great. Breakfast is also great. Staff apparently lacks adaquate training. While polite and willing to help, they don't know how to. I booked non-smoking room with two twin beds, and re-confirmed that upon check in. But I am surprised to see a king bed with ashtray and cigarette lighter displayed. After requesting for a change of room, they helped and changed the room for us, but the reason of the room change clearly states that "guest requested king". I was totally confused. The so caused non smoking room turned out to simply removing the astray and cigarettes lighter; replacing them with a "no smoking " sign. Other comments: the tile works are nice, but the IKEA style furniture and carpentry clearly make it difficult to link the hotel To "5 star".

Very good value for money. It's almost impossible to stay such a good quality hotel in Hefei with this budget. I will definitely stay at this hotel again if I have another chance. Hangsan(Yellow Mautain), one of the most famous touristic sites is also near Hefei, but I did not try because of cold and bad weather.(It was winter) If you're summer travler, just check with the reception dest if there's a guide tour available for foreigners.

I had a good time at this hotel, but what happened after I checked out made it an EXCEPTIONAL time. After checking out and reaching my next destination hotel I had realized that I left my passport and a large amount of cash in the safe deposit box at the Gansu New Century Hotel. Since I did not have a Chinese mobile phone they could not contact me. When I arrived at my destination hotel I immediately called the Gansu New Century Hotel and to my happy surprise they informed me that they found my passport and cash and were holding it safely. After some while i authorized my friend in Hefei to go pick it up and bring it to me as i was unable to return to the hotel at that time. My passport and cash got safely back to me. The staff of this hotel and the GM who got involved to make sure my possessions got back to me deserve a very high recommendation. These staff and this hotel has proven themselves honorable and trustworthy to me. I am a customer for life! Thanks!

This place is clean and tidy, but you need a taxi or Didi to get here from the Hefei South Railway Station. It’s close, but not walking distance close, so you’re probably better off just staying in a more central hotel if you’re only staying ‘cos you think you can walk from the station. Staff were friendly and super helpful - I changed my room because the first had no window and was dreadfully small. Cleaners came in even though I had the “do not disturb” sign up.

Stayed for two consecutive nights in different rooms, both of them had two floors which is kind of cool albeit redundant. This is deep China where everyone smokes everywhere, so the rooms have a stale cigarette smoke smell. Even though I am a smoker myself, I never smoke indoors because I hate the odour. It would probably be wise for the hotel to have a stricter policy towards those people who smoke inside the rooms. Aside from that, the hotel is gorgeous, with nice interiors and 4 working lifts. In the rooms you will find slippers, gowns, and all necessary toiletries. Breakfasts are just your typical Chinese breakfasts which are a bit tough for most foreigners, but at least you have toasts, butter, and good coffee, which is awesome! The location is very convenient too. Overall, a recommended choice.

When I arrived I was told (in Chinese) that I'm not allowed to stay at the hotel because I'm a foreigner, and the hotel doesn't have a certificate for allowing foreigners. I encountered that in China before, but there was no remark on Agoda like "domestic residents only", as it is on many other hotels. Fortunately the staff was so kind to take me to another 7 Days Inn where I was allowed to stay. It's a pity that there are several hotels in the area around Qingxi Lu where I'm not allowed to stay, because I know someone who lives in that area and I'm normally visiting her when I come to Hefei

Stayed for 9 nights on business. Hotel is a good hotel. Some features (health spa) are no longer in operation. Air conditioning not that great (like most of Hefei hotels). Good gym and although I didn't swim the pool looked and smelt clean.

1)pada hari pertama check in ada masalah,hotel tidak dapat comfirm my e-booking from agoda. bila saya sampai sana sudah penat dan letih. saya tidak puas hati dengan masalah ini. 2)Mereka tidak menerima kad kredit luar negara!!?? 3)makanan tidak banyak pilihan. 4)layanan kakitangan bagus membantu atau cuba menyelesaikan masalah. 5)internet lambat.

We stayed here as a band performing in Hefei and so looked for somewhere cheap to stay. For the same price as some very basic hostels, we were able to stay in what felt like luxury compared to some of our recent accommodation. The internet was amazing, rooms were air conditioned and generally we had a great stay.

Perfect. The staff spoke English well, they were well mannered and very friendly. The rooms were clean however the bathrooms were quite outdated and could do with fixing. The room service wasn't the best, with the food not matching the description.

the hotel room was spacious and clean. while the hotel staff were not confident in using english, they went out of their way to be of assistance and were at all times patient, smiling and gracious. the only problem was that there was no wifi.

Room was okay, but the breakfast was very poor. this hotel is more like standard chinese 4 stars hotel not a novotel hotel be like.

The hotel was quite old as one would able to see from the furnishing and design. The hotel lobby was a bit run down and some of the lights were flickering. But room was relatively clean and the stay was generally comfortable. Free wifi was available in the room. No complaints for the price I paid. Staff was generally good in their services being polite and willing to provide help. I do not encounter any problem as I speak Mandarin. The hotel was quite far from the city centre. There are a few local attractions such as the Ocean Park, Mingzhu Plaza and Hui Gardens nearby, all within walking distance of 1 to 1.5km.

From check in to late checkout,everything was great. The only thing I had an issue with was the limited breakfast menu for western tastes,no bacon.
