This hotel is a very good hotel compare with value for money, it is not far from ishigaki town hall and easy to reach by bus. Further it is also provide free shuttle bus to her client travelling between airport to hotel. I also appreciate her front desk service staff friendly and polite service. Beside, it give me a very impression that is the welcome drink which serv...

The room is not big, but is clean and comfortable, but I think the mattress is too soft. I am highly appreciated that there is a washing machine, clothes dryer and small kitchen with all basic utensils, but it will be better if also provide detergent for dish washing. And the location is so convenient. There is walk-able distance to pier, bus stop, restaurant, and sup...

I stayed at this hotel for a couple of nights with my boyfriend for an off-season visit to Ishigaki in March. It's a little unclear on the website, but breakfast was included with our room. I was really impressed with the breakfast: Yaeyama noodles that you could assemble yourself with tons of different noodle, broth and topping options. They also had free drinks avail...

I just got back from my trip to Ishigaki, and wanted to take the time to write a positive review (I’m not usually one to write them). This property and staff were amazing. Our two bedroom suite was huge- so much space for my family to spread out. The suite was well appointed with toiletries, snacks and iced tea. The breakfast was terrific- so many local cuisine opti...

My general impression to hotels in Ishigaki is: they cost pretty higher than expected (say when compare to hotels in Okinawa) ART Hotel Ishigakijima is as well slightly pricely than expected. Nevertheless, it is a good hotel with good standard - hospitable and helpful staff, the hotel is clean. The pool is not a big one but the water slide is a remarkable one. it is ab...

Great location, easy access (5min walk max) to airport bus, 2-10 minutes walk to get to many restaurants, local market, shops, etc. Staff was friendly, check-in easy. Facilities were okay! Understand that with the Ishigaki humidity, some aspects are bound to be expected. Given these circumstances, room was clean and adequate. Very hard bed - if you're not used to it, ...

Smile of the staff was just as bright and cheerful as the blue sky of the southmost island of Japan. They were especially helpful in doing restaurant reservation and looking up for tourist information. Location of the hotel is easily accessible from the airport, to different areas of Ishigakijima and even from other island to other island. Would definitely go there aga...

We stayed in Rasso Apartment for 2 nights. We found that the room is pretty neat, and everything is well equipped, even has a washing machine on the balcony. We liked the style of our room, half western (bed) and half Japanese (sitting room). Location is good, bus stop is just across the street, and got free bicycle rental, although we didn't do any biking because o...

We can communicate with the front desk in English, they provide the good service to us, and their breakfast is very good, we can eat and choose their different kinds of the delicioius food everyday. The location is very best, all the restuarants and souvenir shops is nearby. and the bus terminus is quite close. We will choose this hotel again when we back to Ishigaki...

Price: Patina offers the best value for money. Unbeatable price with breakfast included in the rate. Breakfast - breakfast, with a great selection of fantastic western and authentic Japanese food, pastries and drinks Staff: staff that work in shift could barely speak English, however they are very helpful. Travelling around ishigaki with buses is quite a headache t...

Loved the stay! The cabin may seem a bit small at first, but it's functional and cozy! Facilities were great, everywhere was really clean and provided for and location was perfect. Especially if you're going to be island hopping, you're going to want to stay here. They even have a Jacuzzi for ladies that you can make a reservation for and it's a great bonus to the sta...

This island is definitely best with a car or motorbike. Like many hotels it’s a drive to get to places of interest (but lovely driving around this beautiful island). Hotel is clean though a little dated in the rooms. Prices on the island are very inflated you would get something really nice on the mainland for this price but here you would have to pay 2-3x that. I reco...

Hotel Olive location was super convenient and central to the Bus Terminal as well as the Ferry Terminal to get back and forth via land (to the rest of Ishigaki) and sea - to the other islands. Narita-San was extremely patient; and helpful when asked many questions on where to go and what to do, even though she was always busy. Very cosy and comfortable small communal...

We had the most fantastic time at Villa Jusandi. The accommodation was spacious and airy but also very private and the whole time that we stayed there we only came across one other guest. It is just around the corner from the beautiful Kabira Bay and perfectly positioned for exploring the island, just make sure that you hire a car. By far the best thing about the prope...

This hotel is quite nearly the ishigaki town hall , it can just take 10 minutes to reach everywhere....city hall , market , bus terminal , pier . Around there it has many different kind restaurants can find. The staffs are all very nice And friendly. Further it is tidy and cleanly . The rental is also value for money.

Beautiful resort room with all needed materials. Staff were friendly. 45 min drive from city centre. There were basic cooking items in room. The hotel was in a remote area with only 2-3 cafes around but usually not open at night times. No shops around so u need to buy everything u need, including food for cooking if u want to cook at the city centre before u go. U may ...

Value for money, 15min walking distance to the Ferry terminal. Clean and spacious. There is washing machine, but no washing powder and large balcony which is really useful to dry out the laundry. Staff speaks limited English, feels like an offsite Minshuku. Staff does not stay there.

The hotel is clean and very comfortable. I went during the time when the summer activities have stopped, so unfortunately didn't get to try them out. It is a good place for star gazing, so although the resort is about 20-30 mins drive from town, it feels safe with all the necessities available.

- very good location, close to bus and ferry terminal - clean - I really like the design of this hostel. Everyone gets their personal space inside the capsule bed. They even have the little table inside. - The only thing that can be improved is the room temperature. Sometimes it’s very hot inside, and I later found out that they only had one air conditioner on and it’...

It was the cheapest option and located right in the center of town, 5min walk to port and airport bus, loads of food options and a conbini nearby. Best option for cheap stay in Ishigaki. Bed is however shaky and facilities overall a bit worn out, but that's what I expect for this price. Staff was friendly, however English is very limited.

I intend to stay in Ishigaki for two days but we face the no.9 typhoon , it hit the ishigaki hard so all the airline are cancel We need to contineued stay in the hotel and need a help from all hotel staff The hotel staff help us a lot (try to call airline for us , help us as much as they can) All the facility and store in Ishigaki was closed , the hotel help the guess...

Generally good , Ishigaki is an interesting, pretty and relaxed island. Very few people speak English but everyone makes an effort and this is part of the charm. The hotel is a fair walk from the centre of town but there are a few OK eating places on the way.

The staff are so friendly and helpful! We enjoyed staying for 3 days here a lot... The location is so convenient.. many restaurants and shops around here! Also we went downstairs for fishing and lots of fun there! About 10mins drive to Donki for shopping! Recommend hotel in Ishigaki!

Ms Kyoko is a kind, friendly and helpful host, she made fantastic breakfast, insisted me to make plan on tours. There was typhoon come one night during my stay, she arranged a noodle party for guests which was great fun. Nice Japanese style house in good and safe location, 1min walk to beach, 10min bus to airport, 15min bus to shopping centre, 20min bus to City and Fer...

Miwa, the host's sister can speak English clearly. Even you are not Japanese, she will try to invite you to join their little wine gathering in the common area. Though I cannot understand what other guests are talking, it is warm and funny to watch Japanese TV programme (series of speed dating). After heard of Miwa's story, I really understand it is a warm place for he...

Gon is the owner from Korean with his lovely wife from Japan. He is friendly and can speak good English. They treat guest with caring and warm welcoming. He showed clear direction of site to visit and having fun. I find this is a great place for backpack. All designed for public place, especially dinning room and garden, are tailor made. U can have free coffee and col...

Great location, just next to the main street of souvenir shops, restaurants and family mart. A very new and clean hotel which was just opened on 18 Apr 2019. The room is actually for 3 ppl with 3 beds but as my booking is for 2 ppl, they have removed the third bed so the room is relatively spacious in Japan. There is a balcony of the room too. The breakfast looks ...

The owner is nice lady and very throughtful, the rooms in real are much nicer than the pictures showed here. Even offer nicer towel, a place for chair and table in beach style, bathroom is outside the rooms, but it too nice course of jacuzzi in wood house with nice shower jel and hair jel. There are supermarket nearby, can cook if choose family room. There are big...

The room is clean and tidy! It has free laundry machine and a small balcony to hang your clothes. Perfect for divers! Staffs are nice and the host keep putting free snacks and candy bar out. If you are going to rent a car in Ishigaki, Pension New Hamanoso would be prefect for you with free parking space. But if you are traveling on foot and by bus, it takes 15 min...

It is located somewhere in the middle between the airport and the "city centre" where the ferry pier is; it looks 15 minutes driving to either sides. But it is very close to several large arcades or shopping malls where chain stores like AEON/ Maxvalu will be found. The room is big, free parking, spatial open space, and a small swimming pool. The hotel adopts some "...

We enjoyed our stay at the Best Inn. It was very clean. The rooms and bathroom were a little small. But that's what I would expect from s Japanese hotel. It was nice having breakfast included in our stay. It was nice that the breakfast changed a little everyday. We would stay there again if we were to return to ishigaki.

It was a quick getaway for me and my wife. Loved the place and facilities. The private beach was all we were asking for and with the perfect weather, it was all worth the money. The host Susan was great very warm welcome, gave us a few tips around the area and left us private (as how we wanted it). Decorations in the house (yes, a whole house) is very Americanized (lov...

Tony has been very nice to introduce the facilities in the hotel and sightseeing spots at Ishigaki for us. Hotel is a bit far away from the city centre but all of us love the quite and harmonious atmosphere over there. Will definitely stay there next time.
