Great hotel in Jinan, China. I have stayed there many times, and the staff are always fantastic. This time, the concierge helped to buy chinese tea at the tea shop, and staff organised a 5am breakfast bag & coffee to take in the taxi to the airport. So very much appreciated.

I booked mercure because it was a relatively new hotel as compared to the other hotels in Jinan. So new that my wife was a little concerned about the smell affecting our baby. The night manager went out her way to find us another room and we started room hunting till my wife was satisfied. I do appreciate her patience. We also had the buffet downstairs and found it reasonable good. Overall I had a good stay.

the crowne plaza is conveniently located in the city for both business and pleasure. the business centre is well equipped and competent. located close to an interesting square which is attractive and active both during the day and in the evening. there is a good variety of shopping selection within walking distance. also i really appreciate the delivery of china daily newspaper to the room. in comparison to other hotels in jinan the crowne plaza makes for a superior experience

This is my favourite hotel in Jinan, location is best as it is next to Wan Da Shopping Centre, easy access to taxi, friendly and helpful staff, room is spacious and clean, great to come back to the hotel for a nice relaxing bath in the room.

was at tai' an to climb mount tai (tai shan). decided to spend a day in jinan. the hotel is value for money. small room, but comfortable. cleanliness was up to mark. great hot water shower, especially important during my stay as the weather was so cold. overall a recommended place if you are looking for value for money, no frills stay.

The hotel is very close to the central square, has relatively big rooms, all amenities and the staff is helpful with all kinds of information. Few of them speak English but like always in China there is always somebody who speaks English

I've stayed in, i think 3 or 4 different Holiday Inns during this trip to China. I have been so pleasantly surprised that the Holiday Inns in China obviously have adopted a new philosophy : do EVERYTHING humanly possible to please the customer. Because this is exactly the kind of service we received from all the Holiday Inns we stayed in. They called taxi's for us. The front desk staffwalked us and our bags to the taxis. We arrived late and were hungry, they escorted us to the floor where the breakfast is served and went into the kitchen to grab us free milk and yogurt and asked us : 'Is that enough?'. Incredible service. We never heard the word : 'no'. I'll stay at Holiday Inn whenever I travel to China from now on. They've earned my business.

It's a good hotel but a bit overwhelming, at least to my wife. They have numbers to call, even addition air sealed towel, all in 1 package. Anyway other than that, it's a very convenient hotel, walking distance to the main shopping area. Jinan is not really very big, so can easily covers within a day.

if you didn't need to stay in the city, this hotel is very good choice. Walking distance from hi-speed railway Jinan west station. It was heavy rain when I need to go to railway station and the staff give me direction to go from parking area and connect directly to basement area of railway station. behind hotel there are several food stall as well

Easily accessible from Jinan train station, nice location in between several hills and attractions in the city. It's a bit tucked away but overall, good value for the money.

The room was a little dirty upon arrival, the walls had dirty patches and the soap dispenser was broken in the shower. However, the staff were really nice people and especially the cleaning staff. They helped me out and took good care of me during my stay - despite being unable to speak Chinese well enough to communicate beyond the simple thank you and good bye. I had my Chinese partner with me who handled all the communication during checkin and checkout so none of the staff had to speak English to me. (if they had any English speaking staff) The cleaners were unable to speak English but I managed to get by with my limited Chinese when my partner was unavailable. I attempted to leave a tip for the cleaner after I left my room but she caught up to us on checkout and returned the money. I wanted to say thank you for looking after me during our stay as she was terrific - so sweet and kind. Staff are completely honest and reliable - definitely will stay here again.

I went to Jinan by train from Hangzhou. The taxi fare from the Jinan West train station to this hotel was . The first impression when I arrived was good neighborhood. The room was ok, but I think it was a smoking room. The bathroom was smelly, too. Maybe it was the shower curtain. But I was a solo traveler, so I didn't mind too much (I didn't spend too much time there anyway). Cleaner (and not smelly) bathroom would be great, tho. Well, it was cheap, what can I expect? If you stay at this hotel, try the restaurant next door. They provide some chicken hotpot for RMB 16. I'd say it was one point for this hotel. Yummy.

My name is Dr Nathan Devraj . I booked the 7 days inn hotel from the 23rd of june to the 30th of june . As I arrived to jinan from shanghai at 1130pm i went to the hotel exhausted after my travels only to discover that the hotel does not allow foreigners to stay there . My booking was not even on their system. As i tried to explain the situation that i am a foreigner in a foreign land who cannot speak the native language they still denied me entrance even though you guys had taken the money out of my account already (R1800) . After 3 hours of fighting with the manager the finaly refunded my money , after they tried to rob me and give me less than what i paid . I then had no place to sleep as i did not know anyone in the town , so i made my way back to the train station and slept on the cold metal bench till the morning where i made an alternate booking at another hotel near by . This not only inconvenienced my business trip but also made me overspend on my budget as i had no choice.

Very good location, the room is clean . 3 lifts on 4 in function. In more ,the quantity and speed is not enough during the rush hours morning and evening

I enjoyed my stay here because the hotel is located one block from Daming Lake. I had easy access to the many features of the lake and the surrounding springs. There is also a street market close by where I found good prices on everything I wanted. The hotel itself is clean in the hallways and in the rooms. The hotel staff was friendly and helped me with any needs I had. The hotel is also located close to main bus lines. Getting around Jinan was easy. I also used the train station, which is close as compared to some other hotel

혼자 여행가서 묵었던 곳인ㄷㅔ. 시내랑 가깝고 괜찮았음. 근데 제 방 옆이 직원들 있는 곳인지 뭔지.. 아침 일찍부터 너~~~무 시끄러워서. 방음은 너무 안됐음. 직원들이 영어를 못해서 당황스러웠는데. 그래도 번역기 돌려서 열심히 알려주고 도와주심. 사실 그렇게 도움 청할 일은 없어서 상관 없을듯 함. There was one personal, who helped me to call a taxi driver. So i could get to the airport early in the morning. There was a misunderstood between driver and her, so i think she paied my taxi fee(the driver didnt get my money and just leaved) i want to send her taxi fee.... but i dont konw how to do that. Plz let me know if the hotel read this.

nice staff and good location. Only few meter to the bus stop and very close to the main road. Convenient to both Jinan Train Station.

good service and clean room , heater works fine during i stay at winter . location are near to bus stop and easy to get a taxi as well.

One of the best value for money hotels we stayed in during our trip to China, the room was very clean and comfortable for the price. Internet by LAN works great, wi-fi was not so great. Hotel was a bit of a hike from the train station, but was in a quiet area within walking distance to a good shopping street and market/food stalls area (food stalls especially at night). Would definitely recommend!

Few rooms face the garden and they are in hot demand. The garden is lovely - no hordes of Chinese tourists to spoil your scenic photo-taking. Hotel is obviously in top-class area - quite a walk to the public bus stops (at least 600m). Buffet offers great variety of typical Chinese breakfast. Maybe because this hotel caters mostly to state/provincial conferences, their reception staff are not knowledgeable about getting around to tourist sites other than asking you to take a taxi. Part of the wonders of FIT (Free Independent Travel) is to take public transport to places of interest and thus savour a little of how locals live. So I wasn't appreciative of their standard advice to take taxi.

Jinan is a young city. It is fairly clean compared to other cities in China. Lots of family activity at night across the street from the hotel in the square. Just to the north is a high end shopping center. If you keep going thru the shopping center and cross the street again (look for an alley between the buildings). There is a lot of activity and shops/restaurants. It seems to be hidden away. Great hotel, easy to get taxi, food, atm, etc. Staff speak english (some better than others). For the price it would seem hard to beat.

Second time staying with Sheraton Jinan. Hotel is Definitely a 5 stars hotel with huge room that are comfortable and clean. Staffs are friendly and willing to assist.

Bed was hard as a brick and the staff spoke virtually no English. I was on the 9th floor - recently remodeled, but the elevator only went to the 8th floor, so I had to carry suitcases up the stairs. Hotel had to bell hop. Checking out of the hotel took close to 30 minutes.

The hotel is small, the room is basic but clean. Located strategically on a busy street, very easy to find by taxi drivers, especially if you do not speak Mandarin. Most of the staff do not speak English, but there is one who can speak a little English and very eager to help you with any questions you might have. On the second evening we were there, the town had problems with water supply and no water in the shower , toilet and wash basin. What a nightmare! They kept apologizing and sent some gallons of mineral water. Fortunately the problem was resolved in the next morning. The staff are very friendly, we would definitely come back to this hotel and hopefully there will be no more problems with the water supply.

the hotel located in a good area and has a good service and that hotel make me feel comfortable about my stay in jinan ,, and next time will be there will book with that hotel especiually have a good rate of price, and in fact i get my rest during visit jinan in this hotel and specially have a good resturant introduce a fish and sea foods ,, i ask all traveller to book with that hotel ,, best regards

i stayed 8 days at the hotel and it was close to everywhere i wanted to visit, it was a really pleasant experience, the room was spotless everyday and the staff were helpful
