Traveling to Thailand? Find Khao Yai hotels

I have stayed in hundreds of hotels in Thailand and Atta is absolutely one of the best. Many hotels in Thailand will claim a 4 or 5 star rating but most it’s not accurate. Here it’s very accurate. I can’t find anything bad to say about this hotel which is rare for me. I read a lot of reviews about bad breakfast here but they have obviously fixed that as our breakfast choice and quality was huge and very good. The rooms are maintained and cleaned very well and everything works as it should The hotel, surrounding area and view of the national park and mountains are beautiful. The pictures on Agoda need updating as it’s better! Perhaps they were taken when the hotel was unfinished. Food and room service very good too Staff speak good enough English and very helpful The air here is so clean and fresh, my clothes don’t stink of fires which is nice Great place to stay if you want to visit khao yai, it’s 20 minutes by car Thank you Atta, well done 👍

My husband and I "hid" in Botanica Khao Yai Resort for 3 days to unwind in silence. We didn't regret our choice of accommodation! The aesthetics of the resort is fantastic, so is the service by the staff. Although the breakfast buffet spread wasn't very huge, they made an effort to serve good food. Out of the 3 breakfasts we had there, Thai food was served only on our first morning (and I'm not sure why). The staff was generous enough to provide us with a free upgrade of room because the lift on our building was down - not sure if this will happen if they are fully booked, as it was non peak during our stay. Some things can be improved on: 1) The water from the taps and showers smell heavily chlorinated. It shouldn't have *that* much chlorine if you're going to brush your teeth, shower, boil water for drinking, etc. 2) The shower heads and taps need major descaling. It's a pity that the conditions are like this, considering how nice the building exterior and interior look. 3) The towels (hand, floor, bath, face) don't absorb a lot of water and a lot of fabric fibre come out of the towels, resulting in a dirty floor. 4) We had dinner at Tempo Restaurant (in-house restaurant) on our final night. After so many rounds of good food in various Khao Yai restuarants, dinner at Tempo was just an extremely terrible experience. The Tom Yum Soup I ordered was served warm (not hot) and with prawns that were not fresh. I could mash the prawn meat with my spoon and it was flattened almost immediately. My husband's dish came with super hard rice - barely edible. It looked like it was the last bit of dried up rice at the bottom of the rice cooker.

I’d recommend U Khao Yai to anyone thinking of staying in Khao Yai. Rooms were spacious, clean, comfortable and beautiful; the shower even had seating! So lovely to return to after a long day out. Travelling as a family we appreciated the connecting rooms. The landscape and architecture was so lovely that we went out to the balcony even though it was cold out. Cute hammock swings were all around the hotel. Friendly cats sometimes roamed the front garden. The breakfast is the best out of the 3 hotels we stayed at on this trip; croissants actually tasted like how they should. Room service was speedy. The front desk staff were great. In particular, Ms Nok was very helpful in advising us on visiting the national park and in finding us a driver for that. My only regret is not having enough time to explore the hotel grounds! 100% U Khao Yai would be my first choice if I were to revisit Khao Yai.

We enjoyed a stay with Patravana Resort Khao Yai in early September 2017. Our stay was a pleasure, as staff appeared very helpful, polite and eager to ensure that our stay was a good one. The resort is a bit away from major roads and Khao Yai sights, so it is an advantage to have own car or other flexible means of transportation. However, the location means that you do not hear any annoying traffic noise or other noise what so ever. The location is very peaceful. Our room was large and provided sufficient space, a very nice and large balcony as well as a jacuzzi, much to the pleasure of our kids. Hotel facilities are plentiful and in good working order. The swimming pools are not deep, hence very good for families with small children. Breakfast was enjoyable and well-prepared with fresh ingredients. The hotel restaurant is recommendable. All in all, a very peaceful and beautiful resort.

2 group couple of us went Khao Yai for honeymoon trip and we have choosen Thames Valley as 1 of our hotel to over the night. With other comparison, we wouldnt denied to say that Thames is the best hotel we stay ever in Khao Yai, providing it's environment, hospitality service and etc. The price is bit high than usual hotel but i can guarantee you, it will be worth for the value. Once we arrive at the hotel, it has strict security to ensure the hotel guest safety then there will be buggy service to help you move your luggage into room. Our first sight to the reception and rooms was like you went to a english country style feeling which make you feel just like a day king and queen. Everything was perfect, room was surprisingly set up with honeymoon deco which extra thumbs up for them. The environment is extremely good. The another thing impressed us a lot is their breakfast buffet, with the wide selection of menu choices coming with selection of tea and coffee.

Stayed for the first night in Khao Yai, didn't regret a single bit, my hubby & I were greeted warmly by the staffs once we alighted from the car. The check-in process was a breeze and they had a buggy to escort us to our room with our baggage. The room was clean and brightly lit, one thing I have to say, the bed was AWESOME, softness was just nice and it gave me a great good night sleep. Breakfast was equally great, I love the variety, simple and easy. Need honey for your pancakes? Well, they have the whole piece of HONEYCOMB waiting for you. The perfect kind of vacation. As I'm writing this, I am already missing the congee. The only con will be the traveling distance as it is pretty far drive in. But nonetheless would definitely want to go back again if I am visiting Khao Yai again, hope it reminds the same!

We enjoyed staying in Toscana a lot! It was like Italian town so nice and beautiful. Staffs are very nice, the room is so clean, the view of the mountain was great! Everything in the hotel was Perfect. Me and my husband enjoyed it so much. I could say it’s #1 5stars hotel in Khao Yai. Definitely will be back!

Chose The Series Khao Yai after staying at several other resorts here previously. We stayed during off peak season it's the staff that made our experience exceptional The resort is small, with just 24 rooms so you never feel like just another number. A hand written note from the team welcomed us in our room and although we arrived after the afternoon tea had finished, we were offered an assortment of cakes and ice cream along with a coffee made to order delivered to our room. The rooms are modern, clean with nice views. The grounds are impeccably maintained. The pool and gym are clean and offer a really nice place to relax and unwind. The restaurant served a delicious dinner with a good selection and again, the service was perfect. Breakfast offered a good range and again the service was spot on. I have stayed at many resorts in Khao Yai but this without doubt the best I have experienced. I really wish we had stayed 2 or 3 nights. Thank you to all the staff for a great stay.

Let me just say I am very happy with my experience at the hotel with a small little thing that didn't ruin my trip but definitely added a note of bitterness to it. And it was the 2,000 Baht deposit that was NOT mentioned ANYWHERE (not in Agoda, not in the hotel's website or Facebook page) I was very disappointed about the not knowing part..... Took me by surprise to say the least! Have stayed in NUMEROUS hotels in Khao Yai and this is the FIRST time (the only other place to ask for deposit was Dolphin Bay in HuaHin and Asia Hotel in Bangkok but that was 20 years ago). Other than that the hotel is lovely, I know that "in the middle of nowhere" is a negative trait for some travelers but I personally prefer it that way. The views from the rooms (which were HUGE by the way) were spectacular and swimming pool is wonderfully relaxing and somehow always empty. The hotel IS starting to show signs of wear and tear a bit, but overall the place is very pleasant. I will definitely come back.

Nice position with beautiful view & many birds around. The food was good with different choices. Staffs have much better English than other places in Khao Yai. We stayed in Deluxe room but it was a bit noisy from the restaurant above in the early morning when the staffs start working.

Nice hotel in Khao Yai. Room is very wide. Pool in villa is adequate for relax but not for real swimming. Free internet in the room is big plus. Also all refreshment in room is free for this level of hotel. Nice and well trained staff. They have a good service and always try to help. There is a problem of air conditioner in the middle of the night. They came and help to fix it after few minute call. Very impressed. Nice view and good for family as well. Breakfast need to add some more variety for the guest. Room is very private. Some part of the hotel had sign of the age. Few part of the floor became loose and can be potential harzard for some one. Mosquito can be problem if any guest is not trying to keep the door close at all time. Check in and check out process is excellent. Very fast service and no problem at all. This is one of very private and comfortable hotel I like to stay at Khao Yai.

hotel is very close to khao yai national park, but it has good play facilities for children, particularly a small water park. rooms were good sized and comfortable, although lighting for reading was a small problem. service was also excellent. overall, the best of the three places where we have stayed in khao yai.

We spent one night at this tented resort, as we were a bit uncertain due to some skeptical reviews. To sum up: it was a great experience, absolutely worth the money and the time. The resort has a very nice, very clean pool overlooking Khao Yai scenery (some reviews said there is no pool, which is wrong). There was absolutely no noise from the nearby road (another point mentioned in some reviews). Food was good at both breakfast and dinner (as some reviews were critical about the restaurant). We also enjoyed a nice open fire on Saturday evening. Shared bathroom facilities are very clean with separate shower rooms and overall five star quality. It was a very unique experience, our kids loved it. Definitely a highlight of our Thailand trip.

I stayed at Hotel Together for a night and wish it was longer. It was really valued for money with breakfast included. Their breakfast spread was the best among all my stays in Khao Yai. They even have high chairs for children. We were greeted by friendly staff who was struggling to understand us in English, we stayed at level two and had to carry our luggage ourselves as there were no lifts (no big issue). It's just forest view surrounding the hotel, simple and quiet location. The location is 8 mins drive to Pak Chong night market where we settled our dinner with happiness (most would have rented a car/ hire a private driver anyway). I had written in to asked if they could assist us in getting hot water as I have a toddler with me and I had a filled pump flask waiting for me in the room (which I highly appreciates). The only thing that irritates me a little is that the bathroom has a sewage smell (my husband can't smell any). Overall, I still recommend this accommodation.

My girlfriend and myself were pleased with the services rendered to us during our 3D2N stay over at Limon Villa. Pui, the owner, made us feel very welcomed when we first checked in and continued to do so throughout the rest of the stay. The villa was lovely and made us feel at home. The breakfast had two options, Western and Thai styles, which had huge portions and tasted great. While the villa may be located slightly farther away from key attractions like Primo Piazza, Chocolate Factory and PB Winery, this won't be much of an issue if a taxi rental service is hired to bring you around. Though insects and bugs are pretty pervasive on the outside of the villa, the hotel is well equipped with mosquito coils and nets to protect you from those pesky creatures, just in case. We also faced 2 occurrences of blackout within the same day, but were well attended by the staff and had torchlights in the room to address our fear of darkness. Just note that these are pretty common across all the hotels & villa in Khao Yai, especially during rainy days. That aside, we will strongly recommended for all to give it a try and will love to come back if we visit Khao Yai again!

Location of the hotel is great, near most of the attraction in Khao Yai. The hotel is clean and breakfast is simple and good, staffs are friendly. I and my parents stayed here for 2 nights and they are very satisfied.

I had never been here before, but I am delighted I chose Sir James for my short away trip to Khao Yai. I originally booked one night and when I was showed my room and saw the view from the balcony I immediately booked a second night. This is not a 5 star resort, but most importantly, they don't try to be one (unlike some others). They do what they do very well and professionally and I thoroughly enjoyed my stay.mthe staff were brilliant, the food excellent, and the gold fantastic value for money. Well done Sir James, I would not hesitate in booking another trip whenever I am back in the area.

During our 2 night stay here, my wife and I were treated to stunning vistas of rolling mountains and cypress trees. I think Pak Chong province near Khao Yai National Park has an italian theme to it because most new developments are Italian Themed. This hotel is no exception. Food at the hotel was excellent and most vegetables in the menu are grown in the resort so it is very fresh. The rooms were nice and everything was clean and in working order. All rooms had a outdoor deck so you can wine and dine under the stars. The resort was a bit isolated but perfect if you want some peace and quiet. Paz our driver/guide was an excellent staff as he took us around Pak Chong and National Park and was truly accomodating.

i have been to khao yai so often and I choose only 5 star hotel or resort only. i could say this resort is one of the top 3 resort in khao yai. the facilities in the villa is superb or may be the best in khao yai. the staff is very very friendly and willing to help you everything they could do. dont hesitate to choose.

Hotel landscape was absolutely beautiful with complete resemblance to Tuscany. Restaurants on site were good and infinity pool had fantastic views. Golf course on site was also beautiful. Will definitely revisit again if back in Khao Yai.

I stayed one night at this hotel. The room was clean and nice. The location is very closed to Palio Khao Yai which is only 400 meters away and it is walkable of course. I did not expect much about breakfast since there are some reviews complaint about variety of the food but it was better than my expectation. There were enough choices to choose. I could enjoy the breakfast as well. If you are looking for a place that is close to Palio Khao Yai, the attraction, this place is good and worth for your money.

Road to resort is bumpy and unlit, but not too far from the main tourist attraction. Room is clean and not many mosquitoes, but toilet bowl get choke occasionally. Breakfast is basic buffet type mainly Thailand cuisine, which is not bad (noodle soup is a must try item). Even at night, there is a restaurant to order food, but not many people dine there though (food is not expensive and nice). There is in house facilities, including mini go-kart and ATV which is fun. There is also a water park, but is not to my children liking though. I think each room free one entry to water park per day and 1 of the ride per day. Do lock door at night because I notice that Thai people drink quite a lot and get drunk. Note that staff know very little English (but it is the same everywhere at Khao Yai). Anyway it's a nice hotel to stay especially with children.

my friends and i went to kenshington english garden for a quick escape from the big city. we chose the hotel base only from the picture without any prior knowledge of it and what a surprise! it was a very pleasant stay. we drove from bangkok and the hotel is quite far from other attractions in khao yai but that is the charm of it. there are no other resort/hotel/restaurant around so we basically have all the valley to ourselves. the staff are very helpful from when we called to confirm that we were in the right direction until we reached the place itself. the rooms are so spacious even the smallest one you can fit 5-7 people in if you try. (unfortunately i think they only allow 3 per room, max.) like i mentioned there are no restaurant near the hotel unless you are willing to take a half an hour drive, so we decided to have dinner in the hotel and the quality of the food is great. the price for the food is the same with the normal 3-4 stars hotel. the breakfast is also good even though they don't really have much variety but you can always request something a-la-cart too. the garden, the main attraction of the hotel, is very very nice. it's still new so some of the plantation needs growing but still, it was a very pleasant and relax stay!

Khao Yai attractions cover a large area, guests looking for adventure should consider hiring a driver. The hotel is located next to a newly built water theme park. There are also street food nearby. Great getaway for the family and for R&R after day trips to attractions around the Khao Yai area. The breakfast spread that came with the booking is good.

Our stay in Khao Yai was a short but memorable one because of this accommodation. Recommended by my sister, I'm so glad I took up the suggestion and stayed here too. I got a free upgrade to their best room to celebrate our anniversary. The room is so clean and spacious and beautiful, equipped with all the facilities you could possibly need in a room. I wouldn't even mind spending the day in the room!

after we checked in, the resort itself made us change our plan for the rest of the day. we were happy to stay watching movie in the room(i connected my laptop with flat screen tv via vga), enjoyed the afternoon tea, and decided to have a dinner at japanese-italian restaurant in mutimaya. the restaurant is nice and has a romantic mountain view which might be a better than our first option(the smoke house nearby~too crowded). the food is as good as some fine restaurant in bangkok.all the staffs are very friendly and one even let me drive his golf car.the breakfast is ok, a hotel standard. this resort is one of the top-tier hotel in khao yai which surely the rate might be pricier than others. but definitely worth the price

Absolutely fantastic resort! Hidden gem that's newly open for just 1 month. Highly recommended as the rooms and decor are beautiful, the bed is comfy and pool is really lovely. Waking up to a Khao Yai countryside but modern beautiful resort gives such good vibes. Most importantly the staff there, especially Mark and Aed were more that excellent. As we only knew English, both of them can converse in very good English and assisted us throughout our stay. One last thing, the food here is really delicious. I seldom have praises for in room dining but thanks to the chefs at the hotel, our tummies not forgetting our hearts were all happy. Didn't bear to leave upon checking out though �

All is quite nice for me and my dear, the owner welcame us by themself amicably and suggested abt advancers what shld we have to do in this trip around Khao Yai even the pass way before the resort such as a scare us due to temple, but our thought were wrong that place is awesome before we reached through, beside road plant corn plus Toscana view so perfect! We will rest there again, recommend !!!!
