I like the fact that they have fast internet access ( & i've been to an expensive hotel that does not give internet access in the room itself and the one in the lobby was very poor). As i always have business to attend to in Kota Bharu, it is easy to move around when staying here. The surround area was not as congested as other places and parking was always available.

Super cheap and comfortable room right in the middle of Kota Bharu city. Friendly and kind owner. The owner was kind enough for not charging us extra hours when we checked out late. Breakfast was decent, just toast with jam but who cares when you pay only RM35 for a room!

It's actually a private unit, not part of the hotel. Kinda AirBnB arrangement. Nice 1-bed apartment. Clean & spacious, can easily fit 5 adults. For lunch, me and dad walked to Nasi Ulam Cikgu which was just behind the hotel. Toilet a bit worse for wear, but water pressure of shower is OK. Value for money.

so far everything is good in kota bahru, only the taxi fare is quite expensive. from kota bahru to aiport they charge about RM30, they only take about 10 minutes drive.
Kota Bahru is a very quiet city and the people there are very friendly. The food is very delicious and Nasi Kerabu is a must try and also the teh ais madu near Kedai Buloh in Warung Pak Mat is superb.

I kind of like the town, people are friendly but their dialect is different and at times hard to understand, eventhough I understand the malay language.

Kota Bharu is a more conservative town in Malaysia. On of the things that ladies will absolutely love is the amazing "batik" cloth which Kelanatan really excels at.
