Orange Hotel Kuala Pilah
"i was in Kuala Pilah for my work. There are not much hotels in this town. The room given to me was moderate in size. The staff gave me a towel and a bottled drinking water during the check-in. Air conditioner was functioned normally. Shower holder was broken so needed to hang it at water tap. Overall the toilet was not bad although cleanliness can be improved. The room was not 100% clean. For those who are really concerned about cleanliness, I don't recommend this hotel. As this is a budget hotel, my expectation was not that high. The location is great, near to many shops. I paid below rm50 to stay one night at this hotel."Show more

"I missed so much for my old village when I was young. Full of fruit trees, geese and the sound of crickets. The lodge was reminiscent of my longing for hometown...
But i am a little bit sad that there is an area being cleared for the camping site.
Otherwise, the host are really helpful and friendly. Recommend to small family gathering who missed their oldtime memories of old kampung style stay."Show more

Mudin Hasan Homestay
"The homestay is run by a family and they really cared about my needs- I was there to research for a feature film I am writing about the Matrilineal Malay Tradition which could ONLY be found in Negeri Sembilan. The lication of the homestay is REALLY rural but its great that the homestay could provide airport pickups. They also have internet so you can keep connected to the rest of the world. With the bicycle from the homestay I went cycling to the nearby paddy fields and it was GORGEOUS! The local paddy farmer was SO friendly and even told me where I cud sit and enjoy the view- at a paddy shed. I FELL ASLEEP there hahaha coz it was SO relaxing! The owner of the homestay also showed me a historical but little known wooden mosque nearby. I was invited to a village party -omg- and was also taken to a very famous but deceased Malay writer's former home. And the BEST thing about this area is the UTTERLY GORGEOUS traditional wooden houses of the area, and LOTS of them! I just wish I had more rime so I could go fishing with a bamboo rod at a lical pind too:("Show more
