"Convenience place to stay in Macau & there are few vegetarian shops nearby within walking distance. I found 3 vegetarian shops which are less than 5 mins walking to their shop. Hotel provides shuttle bus to ferry station & you can actually take other interchange shuttle buses provided by other Casino Hotels to around Macau. Hotel has indoor swimming pool & a little casino as well. Price is very reasonable when you compared to other 5 star hotel in Macau. Public transport is 6 MOP /pax per trip no matter the distance (1st or last stop). Thanks Roy for the free upgrade to Deluxe room. Will come back again. "

Harbourview Hotel
Macau City,Macau - View on map
"I didn't expect tk stay at such a beautiful hotel at this price! HK and Macau hotels are quite overpriced, but I think Harbourview hotel is not. First of all, it's really close to ferry station 5min by shuttle bus and Sands macau hotel 2min by walk where u can take the suttle bus to Venetian hotel, ferry station, and other casinos. Rooms are antic and beautifully designed. The shower booth and bath are perfect and all the soaps are Loccitant products. On the first floor, there is Goudiva shop where u can buy the wonderful chocolate icecream and drinks. I didn't have breakfast there, so can't judge it, but the rest of the service was perfect. "

Inn Hotel Macau
Taipa,Macau - View on map
"Cheaper than other hotels in Macau. Free dinner set voucher for every night. Dinner set to choose from are pork ribs with rice, steam chicken with rice, shrimp with noodles, beef with rice, etc. There are about 15 sets to choose from. If you want other sets such as Thailand or Vietnam food, you have to pay for it. Each set price is range from MOP35 to 58. However the dinner set voucher is only applicable for above 21 years old as the food court is on casino. The dinner voucher is redeemable from 7pm onwards. Shuttle bus from Inn Hotel to Grand emperor Hotel takes 10-15mins. Breakfast served is the same everyday. Boiled cabbage, hard boiled egg, ham, fried rice, fried noodle, corn in cob, sweet potato, steam bun, pork siew Mai, white porridge with preserved vegetables. Bread, Coffee and tea. Many eateries nearby hotel, bus stop opposite hotel has bus AP1 going to gongbei custom (to zhuhai). Hotel staffs are friendly, ask them for advice about the custom traffic and directions, they will be happy to share with you. 10mins walk to Macau village food street, small place, can take a look for first timer. Will go back to Inn Hotel if back to Macau. "

Galaxy Macau
Cotai,Macau - View on map
"I stayed at Galaxy Macau Hotel, there are actually two of them, one of them is called the Galaxy Macau located not far from the airport (about 5 minutes), but it also has another hotel call STARS, it is also part of the Galaxy Macau. It is huge hotel equipped with very comfort room, a central shuttle bus station, shuttle bus goes to almost all destinations in Macau every 10-15 minutes (includding airport, tourist sites, etc.,), and it is complete free for resident. The food is not expensive, and they don't take cash, you have to transfer your money into credits and put into one of the GALAXY MACAU's card (the card is free), and you can spend it within the hotel. The Casino is huge, have to walk for about 4-5 minutes from one end to another, so try not to get lost with your friends, it won't be easy to find them. This is one of the hotel that I will go for a return visit, because it take cares of basically everything you need, ranged from food, service, transportation, casino etc.,. the only thing that I probably don't like as much is that checking time is 15:00 (check out time 11:00), I arrived about room time, so I have to wait for three hours before I can go into my room. But not sure about the other rooms are the same, but in the room which I booked, all the drinks in the fridge are free, they even offer shoe polish servie (free), there are three TVs in my room, (one is the living room, one in the bathroom and one is the bedroom). There is also a working desk in the living room. "

Sheraton Grand Macao
Cotai,Macau - View on map
"Sheraton Macau was a surprise to me. I am the type who reads hotel reviews first before I book. I chose the Club King with Lounge access because buffet breakfast is included (just being practical). Fortunately, it also comes with an afternoon snacks and evening cocktail which for me is a big big plus. When we entered the lounge, we were greeted and attended to immediately by one of the hotel staffs (great job Alfie Rocamora). Staff like him is an asset to the company, very efficient so our check in was fast. Everything was explained, he knows what the guests need to know. We were able to check in at 130pm and was allowed to check out 1pm the following day (i have never experienced this with other 5 star hotels in Macau...only with Sheraton). We were also upgraded to a Cotai View room (what more can you ask for?). The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was really nice. Outdoor pools are beautiful but the weather wasn't good at that time. Temperature was still cold (19degrees) so we were not really able to enjoy, we just took pictures of the surroundings. I highly recommend this for the quality of the hotel and staff performance as well as the value for money. Overall, it was an excellent stay!"

More about Macau

Something of the Far East’s Las Vegas, Macau is a small, densely populated region best known for its casinos. The city’s previous occupation by the Portuguese and the Chinese influence has left its mark with an eclectic mix of architecture, Chinese temples, high rises, and 17th century cathedral ruins. Ferries from Hong Kong are a common way to visit the city, but Macau International Airport also provides an easy gate of entry.

The cultural diversity of Macau has promoted a very festive environment, with both Chinese New Year celebrations and The Procession of the Passion of Our Lord held in the month of February. The Ruins of St. Paul’s Church is just one of many historical and cultural sites mixed into the city. Chapels and temples, museums and art galleries, and the iconic casinos of Macau are abundant and beg to be explored. Big name casinos can be found along the Cotai Strip, and many serve as full-service resorts.

For an adrenaline rush away from the tables, Macau Tower has a sky jump and a 233-meter bungee jump – the highest in the world. It also houses a cinema, shops, and a buffet restaurant as well as the best 360-degree views in Macau.
