I had booked my hotel for 4 nights but due to loosing my passport in Makkah I was only able to stay one night at this hotel. I arrived at the hotel at 10pm which would have been my last night there as I was due to fly out the next day. The check in was prompt there was a slight delay as the guy who was to check me in was having his evening meal. I was told to go upstai...

This is one of the many times i have stayed in this hotel during my visit to HOLY CITY MEDINA. I just love the hotel facilities as well as the location is too good. Its Just walk from the mosque gate. When you stay try to stay in lower floors its gonna help you catch the lift faster as there is a rush during prayer time. Though they have like 8+ lifts running 24 hours ...

- Check in and Check out process was very simple and swift. - Location is excellent very close to Masjid Al Nabawi 3-4 minutes walking distance (Gate 7). - Best place to stay with family. - Staff was very courteous specially Sagar Hussain (1st floor). - Had parking problem No parking available at hotel, you can park inside Underground Haram Car park parking 3A, 4A ...

Good: Location (5 minutes to Masjid-el-Nabwi) Women pray area door 25-26. room service (must be asked each day), ease of booking, baggage collection Bad: Internet, Saudi staff don't understand english and very little Urdu so they would act frustrated all times, I extended the checkout time and paid 100 Riyal for same but they didn't entered it correctly in the system ...

I stayed in Quardruple Room (4 single beds) during Ramadan /6th June to 10th June 2017. Agoda offered me a good deal and I picked for 4 nights. It is in mid of Hilton and Movenpick Anwaar Medina. High End shopping at...

This is my favorite hotel I keep booking every time I go to Madina. The professionalism of employees usually reflects back to the hotel reputation which makes me com here again and again. The hotel staff first is the worst I have experienced. Don't answer phone, and overall not good. Wi-Fi didn't work although it's a feature that is bundled. Rooms are not clean, but hotel is going to be taken down in July I heard and you can easily tell management is not investing to repair issues. TV even didn't work that well. We found a bed bug, but we really do...

I have been to the hotel for check in at 2:00 pm but no one helped for early check in. After 2 hours the Agoda Agent from Hong Kong called me and informed that the hotel has sent an email to upgrade me to another 5 star hotel. Once i check with hotel staff and they confirmed that want to send me to another location for checking in. Again it took another hour for explan...

This hotel was very pleasant surprise. I’d say the standard of the hotel by European standards is 4 stars or maybe even 4+. Marble bathroom floor to ceiling, very comfortable beds, flatscreen TV, tea making facilities, fridge, broadband for free, excellent free bathroom products, seating area and coffee table, Safe, ironing board and iron, and even a weighing scale, ...

This hotel is like gem specially for proximity to women area of mosque. One can visit your room frequently to rest or freshen up after ibadah. There are few down site as below: * Check-in process was a bit lengthy * Parking Entrance is a bit small for SUV cars. * Parking space is limited and less for peak season like ramzon. If you checking in on thursday evening or F...

Near to Gate 17 / 18 of Prophet Mosque makes it easy access. Many restaurants and super market nearby. Mr. Taha at reception speaks very well English and cooperative. Nice hotel, descent breakfast, even I find full bathroom amenities including dental and shaving kit mostly not even available in five star hotels in Madina. Very cheap room price from Agoda.

RECEPTION GUYS MUST BE AWARE OF THE TYPE OF BOOKING ONE BOOKS . THEY SHOULD NOT USE THEIR OWN MIND TO ALLOT THE ROOM AS THEY FEEL. IT HAS BECOME HABIT OF THE RECEPTION STAFF TO PROVIDE THE ROOM WITH 2 BEDS ONLY WHILE MY BOOKING MOST OF THE TIMES GOES FOR 4 BEDS AND TO ARRANGE THE BEDS THEY TAKE ONE HOUR KEEPING US STRANDED WHICH IS TOO BAD. WHY THE RECEPTION GUYS L...

One of the best stay in Madinah. The hotel is not far from Gate 15 of Masjid Nabawi. The staffs are polite, can speak decent English, and quick to respond. The cafe pro...

This was our second trip to madinah after staying at shaza the year before which is adjacent to the hilton. Although we had booked for a standard double room for us and three kids, the hotel gave us a spacious five-bed room as rooms were available for our comfort. I would recommend that the hotel arrange m...

Hotel was all the way towards the left of other hotel on the 3rd row of hotel. 2-3 mins to haram so quite close by. Rooms were of decent size and beds were comfortable. Only 1 egg station with 2 pans with sooo many people queuing up...

The location of this hotel is very close just minutes from the Prophet's Mosque. However, if you wish to be close to the Rawza Shareef, it is a longer walk. The Catering Manager is very friendly and the food is good with several varieties available. The rooms were a bit small and the bathroom truly small for a five star. Furthermore, the basin was clogged up and had...

Hotel location was excellent. On Agoda reservation, room size was shown 35m2. In actual, hotel room was half of this - less than 20m2. Mattress condition was pretty bad. Power sockets were not of saudi standard and staff was not very cooperative. Parking entrance is not good for full-size SUVs.

There was not a single taxi driver who could know location of this appartment. Upon calling they refuse to guide to taxi drivers and advised yo share booking number 1st. Their staff behaviour was stupid as upon asking wifi they begin to an...

I really had a bad experience with Eairy Apartment. When we find the location of Al Eairy on Google. its totally wrong and 2 to 2 and half hours to reached there. However, When I reached Al Eairy 12, The Staff said there is not empty room available, I told them I already booked online on Agoda, they said sorry we don't have any room. After too much discussion he said o...

Average cleaness , not so far from haram 10-13 mins to main gate , wifi speed just able to access mail and fb on 10th floor. pakistan restaurant quite closed to hotel. p.s never expect good service and friendly staffs , you will never find it around both Medina an Mecca : ) , but they are real , they will help you when you really need help. I will still wish to stay in...

I booked "Standard Double Room" in Al Eairy Apartments Madinah 2 but in the hotel they provided very small room. Reception staff cannot speak any language other than Arabic. When I arrived, the receptionists was visibly stressed as I was the second person arriving with a booking but no availability. Apparently the current occupants decided to extend their stay! After some conversation, the receptionist solved the issue. It was poor on the management side, excellent performance from the employee side

The Hotel is located quite close to Masjid Nabwi. It is just 10 minutes walking distance from Gate No.7 of Masjid Nabwi. It was a good stay, the first time I visited the al-salam area and got this booking. However, they have a little problem verifying my Agoda booking as Agoda was not in their system. They suggest me to use booking.com for next booking, although I have used Agoda for the same hotel in the past. I think it's best that both the hotel and Agoda can solve this issue. Outside this problem, the hotel was good and the staffs were very professional.

It was a satisfactory ten days spent in this property. Except the Bell staff all the rest were excellent. Check in was very fast and very courteous despite the time I checked in there few large groups at the reception to check in. Thanks to my Agoda booking my check in process was smooth as silk. All ways the staff wants to make sure that all your needs are met and you...

Location you are provided is not matching with actual location. We preferred this hotel as the location provided in the system for our convenience. It was hard to find real location in the crowded city, where hundreds of hotels are there in between the given location and actual location. Highly regrettable !!

My family and I enjoyed our stay in this rather clean hotel which is only 3 minutes walk from the Prophet's mosque. The rooms were spacious and clean. Importantly worth mentioning was the helpful Reception Manager Mr Hamza who welcomed with a rather infectious smile upon arrival and managed to put us in our 4 rooms though we arrived at 11.00 am. I stayed with my family during Ramdan /30th May till 1st June 2017. Hotel is near to Haram infront of gate 17 and Bin Dawood Super Market. I will stay again. It is adjacent to Hilton Medina in row No. 2 of Central Area. Shops and Pakistani hotels are also around. Cleaning was mediocre due to peak season. I strongly recommend. Umer from Pakistan.

As a five star hotel, I was surprised that there was no safety deposit box in the room, also I was surprised that the breakfast was not included and I have to pay for breakfast as they told me, after discussing these things with the hotel GM seiner Abdulkareem, he solved these two problems for me and he was very helpful with me. Hotel is having nice decoration in the rooms, the suite is spacious and has three TVs in the rooms and the lounge area. Staff are very friendly and helpful. However, Hotel is a bit far from Haram, i.e. 12-15 minutes walking. Bathroom is not at same level as the rooms. Breakfast Buffet does not have many varieties.
Traveler impressions of Medina
Perfect to visit Masjid Nabwi. There is good business sector in Medina due to the sheer volume of religious pilgrims.
Quba mosques, qiblatain mosque, Quran printing factory, dates farms, magnetic fields, camel farm, places of Islamic history.
this is the best place on the face of this earth if you want to experience calmness and comfort for the heart
Medina is one of the 2 holiest places in Islam in the land of saudi Arabia. The city is peaceful and very welcoming.

Since the purpose if for Religious we need to look for hotel near by, other wise its wastage of time.
The best thing is prophet Muhammad (pbuh) and ALLAH's (swt) exhibition near this hotel. This is the most attraction thing near this hotel.
madinah is the # 2 mosque for muslims and there are a lot of historical places to visit, some good shopping plazas are also in close proximity to the mosque where you can spend some good time looking for bargains.
Medina is important in Islam as it is the location of Masjid AnNabawi, the second most important mosque.
anyone visits Madinah will enjoy the kindness of its people, the historical places, and -of course- the most important place, AlHaram.
Medina's visit is only for Muslims and a place of worship the presence of Almsja and the tomb of the Prophet Muhammad, upon him and too many plac
The city is good but have some religious extremist people who have no value for freedom of speech and expression.
Most people come to Medinah only for the purpose of a religious pilgrimage, their are many aminities in close proximity, there are all standards of hotels available, reasonable restaurants and decent public transport serving all points of religious interest.
Nice place and many holy place especially many holy mosque and many holy places. Many islamic historical place available there.

hotel is sooo close to the haram.however, since the hotel is located on the southern side of the haram, you cannot pray in the yard (you are directing the qibla to the south, and you become infront of the imam) , so you either go in the mosque or around it (for women, you need to go around since there is no door on that side). another thing was the lack of services in ...

More about Medina
Medina is served by Prince Mohammed Airport, most international visitors first arrive in Jeddah and then take a local flight into Mecca.
Entry into Medina is strictly enforced to keep out non-Muslim’s from entering. For those who make the journey into Medina, the main reason for their visit is a religious pilgrimage, and the main destination once in the city is the major mosque of Al-Masjid Al-Nabawi which is where the Prophet is said to have been buried. It is an extremely revered place by those of this faith and is therefore often a favorite destination among visitors.
Not surprisingly, the major destinations of this city are mostly religious centers and famous masques, one of which is Quba Mosque, said to be the first mosque of Islam. As is to be expected, most of these mosques and religious centers can be very crowded with worshipers, but most of the visiting times are strictly regimented in order to provide for an orderly experience. There are several hotels near the mosques and the city center, ranging from luxury properties to modest accommodations.
Find out where even more of the hotels, attractions, and must-see destinations of Medina are located by exploring the interactive map on this page.
