An amazing inland river port with a rich history of the struggle for early settlers. The modern Mildura is lucky to have the wonderful restaurants, micro brewery and bakery fostered by Stefano di Pieri which offer the world-class dining experiences you would never expect to find in a remote rural city.
Mildura is a very interesting place with so much to offer visitors.
Cruise the Murray River on the PS Melbourne and visit one of the biggest wineries in the Southern Hemisphere at Red Cliffs, Lindemans.
The city is near the border of the state and next to the other two states. The area is famous for its vineyards and citrics crops.
you may find some time to visit the wine production sites.
Although not in Mildura, but make sure you visit Mungo National Park. You can either drive there yourself or go via a tour.
