The room not so big. But everything in the room was so great. I love the pillow and comforter. The bathroom was spacious. The room and bathroom was very clean. There’s free coffee and tea prepared at the cafe for all guest. Breakfast start at 7.30am. But we request to have it earlier since we must check out early. Luckily the staff was good enough since the breakfast s...

I booked 3 rooms & requested to be on the same floor if not side by side for an overnight stay with my families, & the hotel managed to have all our rooms side by side. Perfect! I superlove the fact that they have abundant of plugpoints in the room. TV is basic; breakfast spread is basic. Location is perfect. The Mi Bandung Muar at the foodcourt beside the Hentian Band...

What is great - Great location in a new commercial area within 5km from Muar town centre and easy access to nearby food spots. - Facilities are excellent with a 4 star room feel (has fridge/safe in the room) never mind the room size. - With breakfast package, you can have a choice of up to 6 options at Papparich Restaurant located downstairs (same owner as the hotel)....

It was good, car lots are readily available beside Old Town White Coffee. It was very near to the bridge going towards Merlimau, and it's near the food places, Satay Muar (you should know what Muar is famous for). Families looking for breakfast could head down to Old Town White Coffee which is just below the hotel. There was no problem with rooms, air conditioning, toi...

Having been to Muar once and stayed at Muar traders hotel, i felt disappointed with the amenities and service attitude of the muar traders staff. i decided to try INN Home Hotel, this time round. It is a 2-3mins walk from the main Muar bus terminal & Muar Bridge. I Was greeted instantly the moment i step into the lobby, the staff was quick in checking me in, within minu...

We booked a deluxe twin but was given a superior twin( with no windows) instead. The front desk then upgraded us to the family room. Initial greeting from a lady staff wasn't friendly. However, another reception staff was more friendlier and did a good job to ensure everything in our family room was in working condition. This boutique hotel is EXCELLENT. Good ameniti...

The staff are so friendly & give me information about where to eat famous food nearby hotel but for night, just walk in distance front of the hotel, there is Pasar Malam @ Night Market maybe because I stay on Saturday & Sunday. The room are just perfectly like I want to, clean & tidy. The location was strategic where you can go to eat, shopping and sightseeing by walki...

For that price that we paid, i wasn't expecting something marvelous from this hotel. Upon arrival, we were quite skeptical as the hotel is located on top a a building with a workshop on the ground floor. Once we got into the room, we were quire impressed with the size, the beds and i must say it is rather clean. I've read some of the comments before booking and man...

This simple but beautiful place is right on the banks of the Muar river. Like, you can lean over and touch the water, it’s that close. Mangroves and beautiful old bamboo add to the beauty. Fishermen and boats cross back and forth or wade in the shallows with flashlights at night. Rooms are very simple but clean and comfortable. The view from the deck and restaurant i...

This new Semi-D house is well kept, clean and located in a quiet neighbourhood but very near to the town center of Bandar Maharani Muar. Simple decor but with good kitchen and laundry facilities. Would be a perfect choice for a family of 6 or group of 5-6 travellers who look for homestay privacy. Despite the cozy atmosphere inside, the pagola and garden table set outsi...

Traveler impressions of Muar
Do not miss to go for Muar River Cruise and the famous Mee Bandung & Satay. Ikan Bakar at Sabok Awar also recommended because the price there really cheap compare to Umbai Malacca
Glutton street is a must go. Opens late morning, lots of food to try. Just to name a few, fried carrot cake, fried oyster omelette, satay, herbal drinks etc.
Small town with many one-way streets, so it's easy to miss a junction and have to make a big turn to get back to your intended junction if you're driving.
Please try famous local foods such as otak otak and pork satay! Besides, it is a must to have a cup of Elephant Bean coffee at Sai Kee Coffee 434!
Muar is not a very big town. All the amenities are within the walking distance. People here are friendly.
Muar is an old town similar to Melaka and Penang. But you will find it rather less crowded over here.
Peaceful town...good place to try the many specialities esp satay, mee bandung, otak-otak. There are a lot of shopping complexes.
Muar is a slow developing town. There are many old colonial buildings around. The Muar river is an interesting place to loiter around.
history city... not much entertainment and can view a lot of old shoplot and building. Nice food recommend from hawker centre
Muar town is just a small town. Not many shopping malls. shop at the supermarket and departmental store.
small town near to village, visit the muar river, eat satay for breakfast and melaka is 1 hour drive.
It is a small and clean town where people are relaxed and know how to enjoy life. Many shops and restaurants were prices are excellent as well as spas are reasonable priced.
To travel from Singapore to Muar take an express bus Bugis to Larkin Terminal to Muar for RM$16.70 per person and we return via Kluang.
A nice, tidy friendly town with some interesting heritage buildings and cultural sights. Some great local restaurants and coffee shops.
Is a small town only thing is to go there for food and visiting my hubby relative. Is quite near to malacca about an hour drive from muar
It is a quiet place, apparently famous for its Otah. We spent a night there enroute to Malacca as we wanted to visit the waterfall at Mt Ophir (Tangkak).
Visit the local stalls, where you will not fail to taste the best authentic malaysia delicacies. Visit the town for its charming architecture.
not many modern facilites, not many shopping centres, only cater to certain age group especially the older generation.
Have a lot of local fruits and fishing spot. The foods are nice and must try 'mee siput' and 'otak-otak muar'.
To go Muar, it's best to drive your own vehicle. The road sign are quite clear and even if you are lost, you can ask the local and they are very friendly to guide the correct way.
Food a are wonderful and tasty.every family have their own recipes for any one dish, so it makes the cuisine more variety and unique.
Muar's best hotels with breakfast

Return visit to this hotel. Located next to a shopping mall and near many eateries. No major issues but was itching all over and body was covered in bites the following morning. Bedsheets need to be cleaner. Rooms come with bathtub and appeared clean. One of the better hotels in Muar, so maybe this incident with the dirty sheets was one-off.

Hotel is quite new, I like that the fact hotel it is not located near Muar City Center as this has provided a good ambient for sleeping at night as there is less noise from the traffic and what-not. Hotel has a lift definitely a plus point if you are traveling with big and heavy bags. Room are clean, check-in was fast and front desk staff were very polite. The only do...
