Known as the royal town of Pahang, Pekan is a small city that packs a lot of punch, definitely worth a visit by anyone looking to experience everything this region has to offer. The city is located within easy reach of many of the area’s major cities, so getting into Pekan is easily done via public bus, arriving at the local bus terminal.

Pekan is known as the royal town of this region, and is home to the Royal Palace of Pekan, which is a sprawling compound that shows off some of the interesting architecture of the palace as well as some of the history of the region.

Pekan enjoys a beautiful landscape, perfect for a visit to the Royal Pekan Golf Course for a few rounds, especially perfect for travelers who are in town for a short vacation or a business trip.
