Wifi was a little slow but it was sufficient for our purposes. Whenever we had question, the staff was friendly and delightful. We had a lovely stay and only wished we could stay longer.

Staff members are all super friendly and helpful but unfortunately our room was not ready at arrival. Indicated check in time between 1 and 2 pm on the booking. Stayed in one of the huts with double bed for 7 nights. The hut was fine, till the rain of the last 24-hours or so which seeped through gaps in the walls and pooled on the floor. The shared bathroom was fine, except being built under an existing dwelling you've got to be careful not to hit your head on the joist. A security guard watches the front of the property, ...

stayed here for a week whilst visiting relatives. Spacious room, everything worked well, wifi good. Nice touches like fresh milk left in fridge and kitchen well stocked with coffee/tea and everything you need. Owners away when we stayed so didn't meet them but no problems.

Simple room but it has all the things you need, fridge, kettle, spacious bathroom , hair dryer! Personal touch, John and Marilyn are wonderful hosts. The owners made us hot drinks upon arrival, and we sat and chatted for almost an hour. Gave us good recommendations for dinner in town. We had to leave very early the next day, so the lady of the house made us a packed br...

The places is comfortable and clean. The owners are very kind and they're willing to help and assist you. Although the place is not so close to the beach, you could walk for 15-20 minutes or Uber/Taxify.When you go to Summerstrand, you should definitely stay there!

What a beautiful place this was. Enjoyed every moment of just being there. It's in a nice quiet area, that best suits for a couples getway. My wife and I are definitely planning a trip to visit Keiskama B&B with our friends next month. Looking forward to it. Everything was great except for the weak Wi-Fi signal at the outside rooms. An extended is required.

Great bed and breakfast. Convenient for us to walk to the Summerstrand and sea front of Port Elizabeth. Great owners who were full of personality, kindness and and thoughtfulness. Cooked breakfast was delicious with always an offer of home made pancakes!!!! Helped us with my error of booking one night too few! And they let us stay an extra night.

We chose the hotel for wheelchair accessibility. You can travel in a wheelchair from the car park to reception, to your room, to the bar, and to the restaurant, some via elevators. The hotel gave us a room with an accessible roll-in shower. The beds were very comfortable, we had a view of the ocean. Breakfast at the restaurant was not included in our rate, but was ...

This was such a wonderful surprise. A fabulous guesthouse, more like a hotel in fact. Very welcoming staff, wonderful rooms, and the most amazing breakfast. Probably the best during our whole stay in South Africa. Would thoroughly recommend to anyone.

Having stayed there before we stayed 3 nights at the start of our holiday. Colleen and Denis are a pleasure to stay with and are a great source of knowledge and recommendations for planning our holiday. This includes places to go round P.E., Best places to eat out as well as advice on travel in the southern states and suggestions on places to stay. Hope we return again...

the guest house was easily accesable from the cbd of pe and was close to freeway. the staff were very pleasant and breakfast was ready at the time agreed. it has a great pool in the front so one can have a quick dip if you feel like it. bed was very comfortable with good quality linen.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. The rooms were huge, each room has its own theme. From colonial decor to african to antique. The hotel is located in a quiet suburb area a stones throw away from the major beaches, the...

Traveler impressions of Port Elizabeth
good place to have a holiday but not longer than 3 to 5 nights. The only bad experience was the dity beaches and streets and no control over taxi's scipping red lights as and when they want to.
If you don't have to then don't bother. This city is not geared up for white, independant tourists, feels intimidating and is not particularly attractive.
Very nice place to visit with plenty of things to do with-in the city. Lots of places to relax on the beaches and shopping in the boardwalk.
The gem of the Eastern Cape remains very under rated as a tourist destination. Port Elizabeth has it all to offer.

The facility is very peaceful, with activities to enjoy on the premises. The staff could have outlined all the available activities when we were booking in but we just got our key and a map to premises and that was that, more interaction would be good for first timers. due to a burst pipe we did not have water on our 3rd day and when water returned there was no hot wat...

When I booked the Guest House I expected OK, but received excellent everything. The staff are amazing with their service, I'd give their hospitality 5 stars. The house keeping is by someone who has a hands on approach. Rooms were spotlessly clean, also newly renovated with totally modern furniture and linen. Bed was the most comfortable I've ever slept in.
