Such an amazing hotel with great staff who are so focused on customer service and making your stay enjoyable. The breakfast caters for all, gluten free bread, soya milk, etc Best bit - it's a lovely break during Ramadan to be able to drink and eat outside during the day.

A very surprising pearl in Ras al Khaimah which is not a very good place to stay generaly. Hotel is totally beautiful and rooms quirky but in a very good way. Excellent vaslue for money particularly if a Rotana Rewards member. Excellnet golf buggy service which are needed due to the massive size of the resort. Served food and alcohol during the day in Ramadan which is ...

i would strongly recommend this hotel to visitors of Ras Al Khaimah if not interested in beach access, value for money was really good, room was spacious enough, food was excellent, staff are very helpful and the pool was great for the kids hotel location almost in the center of the city with short distance access for many locations in Ras Al Khaimah if you're using yo...

Having stayed many time in Dubai's 5 star hotels, with prices increasing we thought we would stay at the Al Hamra Golf. The price seemed to good to be true, however it really was good value for money. Not a 5 star hotel but a credible 4 star. The junior suite was large and good for the price. The main possitive was being able to use the Al Hamra Palace beach area...

Our villa was comfortable and clean, and in the position we had requested during booking. i am a frequent guest of bin majid hotel and i can say that i really like and satisfied with my stay in every hotel i visited, i even recommend it with my friends and bring them that day (03 June 2015) but during my stay last 03 June 2015, i was disappointed with hotel staff's attitude. Security guard for night duty told us that it is not allowed to swim after 7pm. we...

i had a good time staying in this hotel even for a very short time. i really like the great location where it is situated on elevated and mountainous regions of Ras Al Khaimah & Fujairah. the worst thing is that we lost in our way going to the hotel. on the junction going to Khatt Spring, Fujairah, Sharjah from Ras Al Khaimah, there is no exact sign directing the locat...

very relaxing. you need a car to get about as the hotel is remote. if you are travelling on the emirates road (e11) take exit e119 go straight and the hotel is about 10km on the right hand side. don't travel into ras al khamia as you may get lost. if you pass the e119 travel to the end of the e11 and take a left at the roundabout (in the opposite direction of rak city)...

Had an excellent stay. Staff were brilliant, rooms excellent and more than happy. A 2 min walk from the mall next door (Al naeem mall) Some pros and cons Pros Value for money Excellent staff Excellent location Very clean Cons Shower pressure was very low Ac goes off when you leave the room. I understand the eco benefits, but the flip side is I couldn't sleep c...

The holiday in Hilton Al Hamra was indeed a one to cherish. The facilities were just excellent and the sea view from my room was what I enjoyed the most. The staffs were all so caring and made it clear that we were at comfort. As it was holiday season, we faced heavy traffic at check in, and room allotment was delayed by 1 hour, as the room was not ready which was expe...

In general the hotel was very good and very clean. Stuff in the main gate was very polite and supportive. Only got disappointed with one incident happened to me when I met some horrible stuff in the reception on my last day. 30 July 2015, I checked in the evening. I met in the reception one lady (Philipino I think). Although she was very busy, she was very cooperative ...

Stay was better than what we expected, nice sea view of the room, good service every where. But few things that was little disappointing the inside heated pool was not warm enough to swim. The lunch at AL LIWAN restaurant was a total disaster & food was cold & not tasty & over rated & also expensive! They charged us Aed 150.00 per person same like the outside guest ...

normally i book into the hilton on their own website so it was a change for me to use agoda. when we arrived they did not know i was a silver card holder. this caused a flurry of activity and the management and staff were very keen to impress. i was upgraded and given excellent service throughout. breakfasts were lovely. we had dinner over the road at the old hil...

We stay for one night on 14 dec'12 because we want to explore Ras Al Khaima.we get our room and astonished with the size and available balcony, with great view of city and Hajr Mountains on the background. Spacious rooms, a lot of available TV Channel with Flat screen TV,nice bathroom and cheerfully staffs. Will plan to stay again in future.

tolerable, the staff is very helpful and tries to accommodate any way they can, although there are problems with equipment and the facility they work hard to solve them. The hotel seems to be under construction. Many services advertised are not actually available such as laundry and swimming pool. But is a good deal for the cost in Ras Al Khaimah where many hotels are ...

Stayed for one night during our winter break trip to Fujairah, Sharjah and Dubai. Booked two rooms as we brought all the kids. Rooms are nice and comfortable but the internet connection is problematic. Price is okay for budget traveler. A little bit far from the town but there is a mall nearby where you can get almost anything from food to clothing and so on.

This was the best desert safari that we have done, nothing was rushed. We arrived at 4pm and were able to drive right up to the camp even in a normal car. We had time to enjoy the tranquility. You could do unlimited sand boarding. Chill out on the cushions and enjoy sheesha. The staff were very welcoming. Unlimited soft drinks. The bathroom facilities were very clean. ...

Excellent and helpful staff who can't do enough to help and make your stay enjoyable. Very comfortable room with everything needed. Breakfast is served as room service, limited choice but well presented and plenty of it. As long as you remember this is not a hotel as such, they offer well appointed comfortable serviced studio appartments in a residential area which re...

Traveler impressions of Ras Al Khaimah
Iceland park was nice, it suits all ages. The beach at RAK was very lively and happening place. I really enjoyed the beach.
Old City with nothing much to do. If you visit RAK City, just visit the RAK Mall to feel good. Feels more like a village.
The city of Ras Al Khaimah is very quiet, and enjoyable place for families. There's nothing much to do around the city, but staying at one of the Resorts will give you pleasure.
It looks quite and old as compared to other emirates.there r lots of resorts and hotels to choose from.
Small nice and quite city with nice hotels.you will like it and you will relax there.specially in ras alkhaima helton resort and alhamra forte.
The city itself is very boring and there is not much to do. If you have a few nights booked at a hotel resort then you should be fine staying within the resort during the day.
Ras Al Khaimah a city have a very old character. The City for all who runaway from the noise of the city.
mix of cultural and modern city where you can find local and country side than other cities in the country.

Citymax was a clean space by the waters, four malls, a bowling centre and more with an excellent bunch of friendly accommodating staff. More about Ras Al Khaimah
Once in the city, getting around is best done via taxis or personal car as there isn’t a system of public transportation. Get a taste of the Arabic tradition of racing camels at the Camel Race Track. It’s an impressive property that allows locals and visitors to take part in one of the region’s favorite pastimes, and it’s a good chance for visitors to mingle with the locals and get a real feel for the city.
The old city area of Ras Al Khaimah is definitely worth a visit, especially for those interested in learning about the culture and history of this region. Places such as the abandoned fishermen’s village of Al Jazirah Al Hamra can offer some of the best-kept archaeological artifacts of days long gone by.
Of course no visit to this region would be complete without a day of shopping. Between the traditional souks and modern shopping centers, there’s plenty of buying and browsing to be had. The Ras Al Khaimah National Market is one such destination, and the perfect place to not only pick up a few trinkets and souvenirs of your trip, but get to see how the locals and merchants interact. It’s a favorite destination among visitors to this city, and one worth experiencing.
