Best hotels & accommodations in Raub

The hotel nasi lemak breakfast is pretty good. Love the cleaniness, the only complain is the pillows are lumpy. Maybe they can replace those lumpy pillows else everything here is great. For the price you pay is really value for money. Compare to Bentong budget hotels, Raub hotels are almost half the price. The hotel has reserved parking lots in front of the hotel...

Because we were the only guests at the time there was no cook at the premises. So they drove us to a restaurant in Raub every evening. And when we left for Taman Negera they gave us a ride all the way to the boat dock in Tembeling. Thank you mr. Tan, thank you Andy. We will remember you. Love, David and Ans.

Quiet hotel near a small mountain. 6 parking lots. Everything is fine except there were many bedbugs during the night. Killed half dozen on my body... I even caught one on my face the next morning. It's dark brown and very very small I don't know whether they are coming from the carpet or from the bedclothes.

Stayed 1 night. It was difficult to find the place - map location is wrong, google mark is placed in the middle of jungle, the address is not recognized by google maps..... Traveler impressions of Raub
Nice, quiet town with good food. Many interesting places nearby (within 2 - 3 hours) such as Ulu Dong waterfalls, Chamang falls, Tasik Bera and Kuala Gandang Elephant Sanctuary.
Not a bad stopover on the way to other places. The locals were very friendly and helpful. All the places we ate were very good.

The best way to access the town is by car, along the federal route that runs along Bentong and Kota Bharu. It’s also possible to take a bus from major and neighboring cities, especially easy from the popular hill resort area of Fraser’s Hill. Fraser’s Hill is just a few kilometers from the center of Raub, and as a popular resort area with a long colonial past, it’s also where some of the exclusive resort-style accommodations are concentrated.
Among white-water rafting enthusiasts, Jeram Basu Rapids is a very popular attraction and is located less than a half-hour outside of Raub. The rapids are some of the most challenging courses in the country, so it’s certainly not for beginners, but there are many other waterfalls and lazy rivers for the casual adventurists.
