Best hotels & accommodations in Roi Et

This is a really special place. It is located "in the middle of nowhere", in Selaphum, which is in the middle of Yasothon and Roi-Et. There is nothing like this nearby, which probably is the reason why lots of locals come to experience the water park and restaurant every day. Yes, the hotel has a water park, which is nice, but you will share it with lots of kids visi...

the capitol is the best place to stay in roi et, one of the best places i have stayed at in thailand . . . . it is centrally located with a good free breakfast and no shortage of street vendors just 100 feet from the hotel. there is also a hospital just across the street. you can walk or tuk tuk anywhere . . . . there's a great park nerby, many festivals, an aquarium (...

This little place just keeps getting better. Cooked to order western breakfast now available. The rooms are large and comfortable, with the little balcony and cafe table a plus. Always clean, and everything in good working order. If you haven't been there, it's a bit difficult to find, but a short walk into the center of town, market, etc. Definitely my place to s...

If all you need is a clean basic room ( AC/TV/hot shower/ internet) that is new and securely run, this Tantawan Place is worth a try. Plenty of parking space on the premises. A clean taxi service is available (80 baht to get to the city center or an easy 20 minute walk to Roi-et’s beautiful city park. 7-Eleven across the street and a good restaurant ( Milano’s) nex...

Only 5 minutes from city centre located among the rice farms is the Mila Garden resort hotel. Only new, this wonderfully clean with modern architecture and landscaped gardens. A family owned and managed business, nothing was too much trouble for family or staff to assist us. Family was waiting outside to bid us good bye when we left. Do not stay anywhere else in Roi Et...

This gem is a small (4 room) B & B in Roi Et, a northeast Thai provincial capital that has few hotel options, most older or of fair quality. The manager speaks English, breakfast is included in their modest rates. It is attractively decorated. There is little tourism in this rural province know as "the poor house of Thailand".

ok. Difficult to find transport to town and staff inexperienced. Language is an issue. No manual or information about Roi Et and services provided by the hotels. No easy chair/sofa in the room. Very economical on toiletries. It is a hot season and the air con was not working but they allowed change to another room with no fuss. Otherwise ,it was a comfortable stay an...

Stay was fine. There are no facilities for food or drink at the hotel (well, there's a fridge with cans of soda in the lobby, and free coffee in the lobby between 6am and 11am), which is odd given its size. Also the hotel is a little isolated, so you'll need to arrange transport or bring your own, but then there's not a great selection of hotels in Roi Et and this is...

PROS: Exceptional value for money! This new boutique hotel is only 5 minutes drive from the city centre. Newest and cleanest In Roi Et The breakfast included is limited however it will keep you happy for a short stay All staff are exceptionally nice and more than willing to accomodate We did our laundry here, 2 baskets for 200B plus they ironed everything at ou...

Traveler impressions of Roi Et
Roi Et exceeded my expectations, with a good hotel, Thanintorn Green Park, some excellent restaurants,eg White Elephant, Dal Perugino, Buddy Bar and night spots with live music, eg Buddy Bar, Boozer and Pavilion 101
We attended the Bun Phawet religious festival. It was a wonderful experience especially the first night outdoor performance of the Vessantara Jataka by the local university students - first class in all aspects.
Roi Et is bigger than I thought and has more to do than I thought, I would recommend anybody to go there for a few days.

Brand new. 5km from Roi Et town which I walked. No coffee or tea facility in rooms. Staff pleasant but conversation was hard going as no one had much English . Asked typical tourist info q’s but got nowhere. WiFi good. Rooms very clean. Car handy if you have family. It is what it is though and was fine for me on my own.

Within the town of Roi Et, the provincial symbol of Phalanchai Lake can be found. The lake features a large island upon which can be found the City Pillar Shrine, Large Walking Buddha, a health corner, and children’s playground. The island is one of several sites that one can escape to for some peace and tranquility, sites that include Somdet Phra Srinagarindra Park. Some of the historic temples to visit include Wat Klang Ming Muang and Wat Sa Thong. Wat Pa Thewapithak is a more unique experience, featuring statues depicting Buddhist hells and heavens as well as a few animals. Other must-see sites include old Khmer architecture at Prang Ku and Ban Wai Luen where villagers make silk cloth.
