Wonderful location in sanya - maybe the best beach where you can enter water safely and play. Beach beds etc has very poor service(you pick - clean the beds and also clean the left over garbage from before as well) pool is great - water slide is best for this kind of resort. Perfect for kids. Pool has wonderful trees giving shade - don’t worry about the sun. Beach as well!!. Resort has many facilities and can spend 3-4 days easily with kids. Kids club is good as well - can leave them there and go out. shopping/food street is just in front of the resort. The resort even does your laundry free (including drying )!!! Breakfast is pooor - not delicious - full dirty and smelly environment - restaurants just can’t handle so many chinese kids and parents. Rooms are old and bathroom is not spacious. This is a chinese Resort - maybe ok for Russian as well - not much English friendly.

Aegean Conifer Suites Resorts is still one of the best options on Sanya's exclusive Yalong Bay. Only very few of the hotels are truly ON the beach, and this is one of them. The hotel is well designed. Its not fully western, but pretty much there. The buildings and landscaped gardens are excellently maintained and the swimming pools compliment the overall feel without taking over the gardens. There are many options, either sun loungers or more enclosed soft seating, throughout the gardens in more private spaces, or quiet lawns overlooking the sea or around the pools. The private beach section was great with friendly staff and on the doorstep, allowing pre-breakfast swims without waiting for a shuttle bus (like other Yalong hotels). The staff overall were some of the friendliest, and most helpful that I have experienced in China, almost to full Western standard. The restaurant was nothing special, but we felt it was reasonably priced (for the area) and put on a nice spread for breakfast and dinner. The room itself was extremely comfortable as to be expected. Having a full fridge/freezer and washing machine and microwave probably will go unused, but its great to have that option given the limited range of places to eat around Yalong Bay. The tub on the balcony is a nice selling point but we would really recommend that the hotel consider allowing HOT and cold water outside. It could be a bit chilly in the evenings or night if you wanted to relax. Also, although we understand it should only be for a month, the Holiday Inn next door is re-landscaping with diggers and drilling. This isn't really the Aegeans fault, and they were happy to move us from a room overlooking the building work, but would have been nicer without it, although somehow the gardens still managed to be perfectly silent all day!

I stayed at MGM Grand Sanya over Easter Holiday with my family, including my parents, and 2 young children. We were pleasantly surprised at the layout of our rooms which is a connected room with a living room and half bathroom in the middle. One room had 2 Queen beds and a large balcony, and the other room has a King bed. There is a lot of activity in the hotel for everyone, including bubble show for kids, shell making, bowling and it's within walking distance to the beach which has clean water and soft sands. My 9-yr old was so excited to rent a beach Segway there. The beach is also connected to all the other major hotels along Yalong Bay and one could hotel hop and check out other restaurants. MGM has a nice open-air BBQ terrace next to the pool side. At night, one can enjoy performance and enjoy nice dinner. The food was overall average, although we must commend on the quality of the roasted Oyster which was the best we have had. Even my children who didn't like Oyster had a bunch. Breakfast was also included in the package which was good value.

we stayed 2 nights at le parker and 2 nights in other hotel in sanya. compared to other hotels, le parker is located right at the city center, it's only walking distance to the beach, nice restaurants, phoenix island...etc. our room was upgraded to city view executive room, it's spacious with a small kitchen and a living room. the bathroom is attached with huge bathtub enough for two adults. breakfast buffet is wonderful, chinese/western/steamed/cold plates/salads/bread....you name it. we accidentally forgot our laptop in the room after we left for the airport. urgently we asked the hotel staff to help us hiring a taxi and deliver our laptop to the airport. though it was busy check-out time at around 10:30 am, the hotel staff still tried her best to help and finally delivered my laptop to the airport on time. overall, i would say it's a great experience in le parker hotel sanya.

Most local staff speak or understand very little English. The Expat staff members on site however are most helpful, professional and friendly. For the price paid, it represents excellent value for money. However, do not come here expecting your mind to be blown away as you would at say the Rosewood Beijing or some of their North American / European properties.

I had booked two rooms for our 4 nights stay but was told one of the rooms was still not ready when we arrived, which was post the hotel’s standard check in time. Instead of trying to organise another room for our tired family members to rest, the check in staff Miss Zheng couldn’t careless. End result was that the five of us had to squeeze in one room for almost two hours until the second room was ready. During the two hour waiting time, I have had to call the front desk two times about the second room and again no effort was made to speed up the waiting process or try to organise another ready-to-check-in room for us. I find the check in experience very appalling given it is a 4.5 star hotel. The room we stayed at (room #1040) had a dead crocroach behind the sofa and moulding tiles around the shower area. Other than the above, all other staff particularly the new hotel operation manager ( French lady) have been fantastic. Breakfast buffet was great.

We've stayed at the Lakeview Premier Family Suite for 4 nights. There were few things that really touched our hearts and made us feel very much at home in Sanya. 1). It was my son's birthday on the 2nd day of our stay. Although I didn't mention it in our booking, a complementary cake was delivered to our room on that day. My children were very happy. 2). We were well taken care of by our room attendants 欧才益 and 林赛梅。They've left us kind notes about keeping hydrated under the hot sun, leaving small gifts for the kids, and take good care of our belongs. 3). My 7 yrs old girl realized that she had left her bag at the hotel room when we were at Sanya airport heading back to Singapore. I called the hotel and spoke Mr 唐永辉 (管家部), he immediately arranged a taxi to send the bag to airport. In the end, we managed to get the bag just on time before our flight. Therefore I'd like to give a big thumb up and thank you for this resort. We will surely be back next time! :-)

The room is large, nice, clean and comfortable. Staff are very friendly. The loaction is good, 3min' walk to the beach. They also have shuttle bus every 30mins to the beach for free. My parents also like the swimming pool a lot. Also there are shopping malls and supermarket near the hotel. Will stay in this hotel when come to Sanya again. Really recommand hiahia.

We stayed in the Anantara Sanya Resort & Spa for 5 days and 4 nights. We booked the delex ocean room . You can look at a beautiful sea view at the balcony. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would love to come back in future! Becoz this hotel really gave us a relaxing moments all the times! Also, we never experiences such a friendly and perfect services in other five stars hotel. Their ppl are well-trained and always with smile. Their services showed that they take care of their guests. It made us feel warm. Their room are big, clean and with everything that you expect from a 5 stars hotel. Room decoration is simple, stylish and comfortable. Also, their towel art decoration is amazing ! It was surprised us that they folded the towels into different animal shapes every night! It was really cute and made us happy! Surrounding area of this hotel is nice, clean with fantastic pool and good gym. I love the massage function in the pool. For the Spa, you cant miss it at all! Their restaurants are great. The Thailand restaurant must try there! I love the mince chicken and deep fired fish with sweet spicy sauce! It was so yummy! This hotel gave us a wonderful holidays. We had a very quiet and relaxing moments at Anantara Sanya. We would love to come back if i visit Sanya again. I am also interested their resorts in other Asia places!

Great place but unmotivated staff and noisy customers are wasting the pleasure. Bad points: 1. If you are not used to Chinese people jungle during vacations and Chinese environment, no need for you to come. This hotel is mostly dedicated to Chinese people, the staff doesn't speak English at all - 1 staff over dozens did get few words. Even more: if you have choice between Sanya and South East Asia, don't waste time, avoid Sanya. 2. Staff motivation is really low, they won't try to help you if they can avoid it - and they are quite skilly to do so. 3. Food quality, price and availability is not great at all. Good points: - Beach is great, but organization compared to other hotel around is quite poor and the continuous music quite tiring. - Main swimming pool and individual swimming pools in villas are great. - Breakfast is ok. - Out of rush hour (breakfast), calm is invigorating. - Bedrooms are not bad, but it may depend where you are located in the hotel. It is worth to stay there if you get a really good bargain, if you can speak at least a little Chinese and if it is low season. We had a great time but I wanted this review to be complete, it may sound a bit harsh but it is quite realistic.

We changed 3 hotel in Sanya, Wyndham is the best! Nice view and value for money ! I can see the ocean when I lay on the bed , love it! Will come back again

Clearly the best hotel in Sanya, if you can afford the price, you must stay for at least a day! The pool villa is very comfortable with good privacy, it is reliable even if swimming! The breakfast is very delicious, I think it is the best I have ever had in any hotels. The hotel private beach is good, it is not easy for others to enter so it is quiet. There is also a 500m long bridge to the 'sea', best for viewing the sunset.

Excellent view to see the morning sunrise. The hotel is inexpensive too compared to other hotels nearby.

Been using this hotel for our stays in Sanya for many years, but service seems to have seriously deteriorated. Lack of English speaking staff, poor cleanliness at the break fast buffet, and the loss of food choices all illustrated this. Love the building and location, but was disappointed.

The hotel was absolutely beautiful. Our room was the perfect size and furnished appropriately for a romantic getaway for two. We especially liked the openness between the bathroom and the main part of the room. VERY close to the beach; you just have to cross the road (through a private tunnel) and you are there. But there's not really any need to go to the beach when the swimming pools are so clean and beautifully landscaped. Prices at the restaurants were a little high. For example, we paid over for the Caribbean BBQ buffet for two, and the seafood they offered at this buffet was actually pretty limited. The concierge was not able to give us advice regarding nearby attractions, so if you stay at this hotel, plan ahead on your own. Most hotel workers have very limited English, which I would be okay with (it is China, after all) except for the fact that the hotel clearly caters to Westerners. Yes, there is a lot of construction noise nearby, but that's Sanya for you. I doubt if there is any hotel in Sanya immune to this.

We stayed here for a night to celebrate my birthday. Service was excellent from the concierge to the front desk, restaurant and house keeping. We were checked-in by Lucy and she was really helpful and very welcoming. Even when checking-out, she helped us until we had went inside the car. We had lunch in one of the hotel restaurant and met Stephanie. (I forgot the name of the restaurant) The food was great. We ordered the Hainanese Chicken Rice and Nasi Goreng. Stephanie was very informative and helpful. She even met with us at the sky bar and had a little chat. After having lunch, we went to our room. The room was great! We love everything and enjoyed the bathtub inside the room and at the balcony. The hotel has 3 swimming pools and it was great as well! Overall, we enjoyed our stay here and will definitely come back and recommend to my friends and family.

rooms are large, views can be great and hotel seems better organised under new management. they seem to understand the importance of getting quality staff. great breakfast, especially if agoda get it included in room price. western buffet dinner is great by western standards, but mainland china is becoming very sophisticated and for this to be value, the hotel needs to watch its standards. the chinese restaurant again was disappointing, but my chinese fiancée does not agree. sanya is doing a lot of very public (for china, that is) soul-searching about sanya ripping off tourists. it is an expensive place, even by australian standards. but it has the workd's best climate and this pullman is one of the best value places to enjoy it.

I really enjoyed my stay in westin haitang bay. The staff are helpful and friendly. Location is quite far away from sanya that the minus point. They have the best pools and beach. Hotel rooms are fantastic Food choice is limited but I still will come back again if I'm gg sanya.

This is a fantastic hotel. I would not call it a "luxury" hotel but for the price it is a wonderful deal. We traveled to Sanya for a weekend escape from mainland China. Our garden view room on the first floor was HUGE with a large bed and massive bathroom which included a tub and rain shower. Our bedroom opened to a little deck and had a private entry into the pool. The beach was clean and there were always ample chairs to choose from. We ate at Thai restaurant two nights in a row and were impressed with the quality of the food. Not all staff members are conversant in English, but those of us who don't speak Mandarin very well still got along fine! The breakfast buffet includes Western and Chinese options which kept us satisfied well into the afternoon. If we decide to come back to Sanya we definitely plan to stay at the Mangrove!!

Most of Chinese can't communicate in English when the counterpart use only English. But I haven't had any problem during staying. And Service and breakfast was also nice! I have visited for holiday. The hotel added the better memory to me.

Most hotel staffs are rude. Couldn't speak English. There's no hotel airport transfer service and hardly can get a cab before 8am. Please take note for those guest who wish to stay there and do has a early morning flight. Staff just don't bother to help you. The place is very nice just that the China people really pissed me off. I will not go there again.

Villa was beautiful inside and out although it was basically facing the street so there wasn't 100% privacy.

This was our second time to stay at St.Regis Sanya. It’s a great place to get away and relax. It has awesome facilities and most of all it has the best service in China!!! We’ve never experienced a service like theirs. Everyone was friendly and eager to help. Special thanks to David, Nicky and Adward from concierge. They were so kind and accommodating. We will definitely come back just because of them. If you ever visit Sanya be sure to stay at St.Regis. You will not be disappointed. It’s definitely one of the best hotels in the world

Nice hotel with no direct access to the sea although 5mn walk to go there through just in front of the Pullman. We had booked a pool villa, wonderful stay over there. But i do not really recommand other standard room in this hotel. Pretty nice and spacious but maybe you can find better qulity/price rate elsewhere. The swimming pool is deceiving, quite dirty at the bottom, and you can't have an overview from ashore so not convenient if children. For monitoring, you need to swim together with them. Restaurant is good, european meal and reasonable prices. Nice lounge bar. I truly recommand pool villa and your stay will be perfect. Nothing really interesting to visit around Sanya. Anyway if so, not possible to get information from the hotel!!!

A great value for the money, we had a beautiful pool villa. Still, the service at the hotel, with the exception of one lady, was average at best. If Sanya is to compete against the likes of Thailand/PH for Chinese tourists, this should be improved. All that said, I would highly recommend this hotel to others. The 'private' beaches were not so great.

I stayed here for one night before leaving Sanya. The hotel and surrounding area are new. Awesome spot if you're just arriving into or soon to be leaving from the airport. Great value for the money. Clean and modern. I would definitely recommend this property. They even have a robot that takes you to your room. Just follow her.
